Fantastic Fridge
The first thing that caught our eye 10 years ago when we looked for a fridge was the the temperature readout display on the door, showing both the freezer and fridge compartments temperature, with nice push buttons to set the temps accurately as well as having a vacation button....none of those ambiguous wheels that just say warmer/colder.
The next intriguing feature was the use of Silver Nano technology inside to reduce the chance of mould and smells.
In use this has been a very reliable fridge situated in QLD where it gets very hot, and...Read more
it just purrs along, it is so quiet. We use the holiday feature regularly, it keeps the freezer and the fridge part ticking along, keeping -15 and 3 degrees respectively but using less power. It cools a dozen beers very quickly and the ice cube tray has a very easy quick release feature which send the ice into a tray beneath. The insulation has held everything cold even during long blackouts. The crispers work very well and the body looks like new still.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Best fridge I have owned
Keeps food very fresh (myself and others always amazed how long food keeps fresh). Chilled fridge compartment perfect for cold drinks. Lots of storage with adjustable shelves. Easy control of temperature by digital temperature control on front. Silver nano and Antibacterial system. Silent running. Finger proof platinum finish. No problems at all.

Nothing but problems with this fridge for for the last 3.5 years!
Total Lemon - Ices up, freezer fails, fridge fails - food losses several times! Currently the external temps show -20 and 5 respectively, but actual temp is -10 and 10 respectively. Here we go again! Has been 'repaired' 6 times by Horizon Warranty but would not replace it despite specific request before the last repair. No I start a very public legal process to get wht I paid for - fridge that works and that I can rely on!!
Worked perfectly for 18 months.
Continual breakdonw - unreliable. A Lemon. Atrocioous Extened Warranty experiences.

Excellent
Has worked like a charm without a bit of a problem for 3 years. We have two little kids and nothing has broken with this fridge. Will definitely buy this brand again.
Very happy with this fridge. We have the white model. The temperature display is total peace of mind, you know exactly the temperature inside the fridge and freezer compartments at a glance.
The handles can slide up but just need to push down and that's it.

OK
After about 2 years it iced up and started making weird noises like a plane taking off. After a few visits from the repair man and $300 later it was fixed - something to do with the temp sensors. Worth fixing though as overall it a good fridge
looks good, ours is a 'stainless steel' look, glass shelves
door shelves have broken from kids getting the 3 ltr milk out

Have lost my book what temperature should be showing on the fridge?

Mine is set at 3 and minus 19, which were the factory settings. These temps work perfectly in the hot and humid weather here in QLD.
Don't forget to make sure that vacation isn't set to on as that makes the fridge part just tick over and not work at cooling new contents fast.
