Its fair to say I'm in love with my Samsung Washing Machine
I thought I would share this, I finally killed my machine and cant afford another one, its not meant for business use so its not the machines fault :)
I did notice my water bill went down from $700 to around $400 so environmentally and financially its a big difference.Still I cant wait to purchase my next one to power through all of my washing !!
I purchased this machine in absolute frustration after going through a (front loader) at least every 12 months and having washing piling up two foot high in the bath tub waiting for the lengthy front ...Read more
loaders to do the job. I took a breath and let go of my wanting to save the environment and purchased a top loader. Brands I had tried over the years Simpson, Fisher and Pykel and the worst for expensive repairs and apathetic repair men was the Miele :( I run a very busy dog walking business and the amount of washing it do is phenomenal. This machine has been doing a minimum of three loads a day and gets even the most disgusting grit, hair and dirt out of my clothes, dog blankets, leashes and my washing comes out clean and fresh. You won't believe how much you can do in one load with this machine its magic. Its User friendly and you can soak your clothes prior to washing and this is great for really muddy, dirty things. Its fairly quiet for such a large machine too. There are settings for all types of washing loads towels, sports and so forth. It has a nice hot wash for really dirty clothes.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Misleading information on machine and performance issues
First of all it says 13kg on the machine itself, but if you look up specs on the Samsung website it says machine is designed and rated for 10kg (perhaps that's why the model number begins with WA10 ....)
Secondaly the machine gave way in about three months -it entered a non-stop spin and rinse cycle.
It was very hard to contact and speak to Samsung service people -it took me over two hours to register my complaints and had to speak and repeat the issue to at least four differenet personnel1
Eventually someone did come and found the m...Read more
achine un-serviceable. So the good part is they agreed to replace it with a later model as they couldn't locate the one we had purchased. The new model (WA13M8700GW) had lower spin speed and it operates at almost half the default speed ie.e 400rpm or so - max being 800rpm (compare this with earlier one at 1000rpm).It is leaving clothes very wet after cycle finishes and so it takes more than two hours to dry in our dryer compared to about half an hour with earlier machine! We spoke to Samsung again today, and they promised to send the tachnician again - so we shall see what happens now. For now we aren't too happy. I wrote the above part two days ago - Samsung has denied any responsibility saying it is not a fault but design issue! I tried talking to their technical team but no reponse. Have given up now...Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Does what you want a washing machine to do
You can fit an enormous amount of washing in this machine, including king size quilts/doonas. The wash cycles are effective and the lint collectors get a lot of lint from the clothes. You still would not want to wash towel or other lint-filled items with dark clothes though.
The auto water level selection is mostly spot on, it can take some getting used to it washing in a lower water level than you might think, but as a high efficiency machine, it will use less water than a standard top loader machine.
Over all, in over 12 months of ownership this has been a good machine.

would not buy product
Purchased NEW machine and had it delivered and installed. While being install it made funny sounds but the installer said they where OK. We went to use machine but it would not complete wash cycle. After 2 hours on the phone to Samsung support they finally agreed to send service person out but we had to wait 4 days. I asked for a replacement machine as this one had never worked and they said that that would take about 10 days to deliver. Rang seller (2nd's world) and asked for a replacement and they said that they did not have another machine. ...Read more
Service agent arrived without any parts and said that the machine is faulty and then spent a hour on the phone with someone trying to diagnose machine. They decided to replace the main PCB and MAP sensor first and they would be between 5 to 15 days to order them in, I asked about a new machine and was told the had to attempt to repair this one first, if the two parts did not fix it they would order a replacement the Hybrid motor (5-15 days wait) and then if that did not fix it, they would replace the machine. I went back to the seller and after much shouting and screaming I was given a full refund. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product or buy anything from 2nd's world ever again. When person came to pickup machine he said that they have to take back a lot of these machines.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
