    Most reliable easy machine!

    published

Love this washing machine, it was a bargain price online, it’s so easy to use even hubby can use it! It’s got a range of different cycles to choose from you can even change the water levels and temperatures!
It’s a top loader that is super easy to use you can throw stuff in even after it starts it’s cycle, it sings out when it’s done, the general cycle is only 38 minutes l, I love the clear window on top to see what’s going on and it’s compact!

Should have asked for Refund not Replace

    published

I wish I chose refund option instead of replace during recall. This washing machine's cycles are far too long!. I tried using manual settings as per instruction book and it changes the time to 2 hours no matter what I do. I want quick loads not long ones!. I find that it struggles finding water level - most often I have to stand there watching it and hit the start button after 5 min. My clothes are constantly tangled. It's not great on electricity. I also cannot connect it to the app on my phone. The power off function is annoying and so is the little tune at the end. Must admit it is quiet and love the delay feature.

Worst washing machine or should I say machine as it was no good washing
You have to change rinse temperature every time you wash and the fabric softener draw was only good for low was it was so small and as for the other programs to wash ?? Well it was a waste of time

    Great washing machine!

    published

Our entire family uses Samsung washing machines. They have many functions to meet out needs and they last. I am using my second one because the first had to be recalled - and even then, it didn't give me any problems. My mum has hers for over ten years and my brother uses on in his household too.
    Great buy. Must buy.

    Just right for us.

    published

This is a quiet and reliable machine which we use every day. With a family of four there are always school uniforms and work clothes that need to keep in rotation. I can put this machine on and set it to start and be finished in time to hang out before work... and it's quiet!!!! it sings a little tune at the end but no annoying beeping like our old machine. There are a variety of settings for all fabrics and I'm pleased with the amount of washing I can fit into a load that still comes out clean.

I used the Drum Clean function for the first time. It takes nearly two hours! Not really sure of the benefit of it, uses hot water and probably wont do it again.

Excellent Machine - Quiet, no lint

    published

Having read some of the reviews on here before this machine arrived (was a free replacement via the Samsung machine recall), I was concerned that there would be lint etc as was previously mentioned. Gladly, those worries were not founded. Exceptionally quiet, even better than the already good one it replaced

    Love it!!

Love my new Samsung Washing Machine. No large agitator and doesn't tangle clothes. It is extremely quiet and very easy to use. Does''t take long for clothes to dry after hanging on line. Very happy with the choice of wash cycles, I use Fuzzy and Quick Wash most of the time.

    We're happy

    published

Personally our washing machine is fabulous. Fuzzy is our standard wash cycle. Collects lint in the filters so I'm surprised with this feedback. I use this site a lot and often reviews cause so much confusion so sorry people but I'm about to add to that. The only issue I may have, is that the clothes get quite tangled once cycle is finished but other than that washes really well, no lint no leak (although did leak at initial installation because my husband did not fit drain hose properly and just make sure it's sitting even on the floor) other than that we're happy!.

Um, even though this machine has fuzzy logic, there is a button on the left that can manually adjust the water level if you feel that is needed. Also these machines have a lint filter. Maybe you need to sort your washloads more carefully.

Sometimes I think it's just the clothes we buy these days. Hopeless stitching and poor quality material which begins to disintegrate once sunlight falls upon it.

hi.. ive been offered this machine as a replacement. can anyone tell me how long a normal typical wash takes? i dont want the machine if it takes 3-4hrs!!
also re the drain hose.. has anyone simply drilled a hole in their tub that may sit next to the machine, to feed the drain hose through the wall of ghe tub and enable a tub to sit closer to the machine? what i was planning to do.. thx

my machine drains into the tub, make sure hose is positioned so that water doesn't spray everywhere and nothing blocks the plug hole.
my top loader has a cycle that takes about an hour or a quick one which is about half hour, a lot of other choices too.

hi. thanks for your reply. so to clarify, this machine takes about an hour for normal wash?
and can anyone comment on my plan to cut a hole in the side of the tub so as to feed the hose in through the hole to enable the tub to sit closer to the machine. the hose will still drain in the tub where the hose normally gets inserted but just go through a hole lower in the tub that i will cut?

With the Air Turbo do I have to select it manually or is it automatic?

You need to select manually and only 30 min option available now. Missed the 15 min on the old model.

sorry I haven't used this function but have a at look at the instruction booklet. I think it's a press the button till the choice comes on thing... good luck. or google the info for the model on-line if you've lost your booklet

As stated, it is only 30 minutes now. I find it annoying that it remembers it too. When powering on the next time, it will still be set to Air Turbo. The old machine i had reset this every time back to default.

Thinking of getting this machine but our drainage slot (and the sink) is on the right side of the space. Does that matter? Will the hose reach behind the machine to the other side?

    2 answers
    Chris29579
    Chris29579

The drainage hose is quite long, around 1 metre 50 cm. It comes out the bottom left and does stick out a bit, but should easily reach behind and up to the sink hole. I can send photos if need be.

    Doorf
    Doorf

The hose on my machine comes out on the side, behind the machine and over to the other side to our sink. As Chris29579 said it does stick out a little, about 10cm and curls around to the back.
