Awesome, wish i had more!
I have the Scanpan Commercial 3 pot set & they get used a lot. Great value for money, they take a lot of abuse & still clean up well every time. I wish i had larger Commercial pots!
If you want pretty, shiny pots with glass lids...these are not for you. If you want hard wearing, great cooking pots then these are hard to beat.

From the stove to the oven
I’m so glad I opted to purchase purchase Scanpan cookware. I first started with the 28cm stockpot. This was a great addition to my cookware. The ease of use reminded me of another brand (Rena Ware) you only need low heat to cook. Heat is enclosed within and cooks evenly. Has firm handles and a clear cover with steam outlet. Lovely steel shine and washes well. Only downfall, is the screw position on cover. The nut on the inside hinders when washing.
Overall, the item is great. Added advantage, sear meat and cook away in oven. The cover also can be used in the oven, it has a great heat resilient.
Like the product so am slowly adding items in my kitchen.
Personally, after washing and drying, I replace item in original box for longevity.
Purchased in January 2021.

Scanpan Commercial Stockpot 8.5L
I love this pot. It heats evenly and quickly, nothing has ever burned in it, it’s not heavy. It’s my go-to for cooking in bulk or for large groups and making stock. It exceeded my expectations even though it’s just a stainless steel pot! I one day look forward to making jams and sauces in this pot too.

Scanpan products
I just love my stainless steel products. Best on the market. Try their list of knives. I have about 7 of them. If you buy ensure you get the appropriate sharpener.
Also give the other equipments available a try. I have the full range.
I have had mine for years. I standby everthing.
I bought at different times.

Very disappointed
I am really disappointed with this product. everything I cook sticks to the bottom of the pots and fry pan, even on low heat. I have an induction cook to and cook everything on 3. Fried eggs even stick. It takes a fair bit to get it off. The pots are just as bad. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any tips on how to alleviate this problem.

water entering seam of pot issues
Purchased this product 6 months ago. It is replacing a set of bistro pots I have had for over 30 years. Should have kept the old ones. These pots have a most annoying problem of water entering the seam at the bottom or via where the handle is attached to the pot. I cant work it out but what I do know is it occurs after washing in a sink (the old fashioned way) or in a dishwasher. I have to spend 5 minutes or more trying to get the water out of the inside of the pot. I can hear it swishing around and it is difficult to remove all of it. If I lea...Read more
ve it in there it creates another annoying problem and that is, after heating something quickly like milk for a warm cereal for example, you go to pour the milk into your bowl of cornflakes and the water from the bottom of the pot enters your bowl as well! Awful!!! So disappointing...they work great for their intended purpose but this water issue over clouds everything that might be good about them and makes me want to throw them...Similar opinion? Excellent build quality, practical design and excellent in use
We have several Scanpan Commercial pots & pans in our kitchen and found them to be excellent in every assessment.
Great design cues includes :
- carry hollow handles that stay cooler for longer.
- clean lines to allow for cleaning & scrubbing.
- excellent fitting lids to keep heat in
- heavy gauge steel means they are unlikely to deform over time
- solid welds at all joins for durability
- heavy steel alloy base for excellent heat transfer & retention

Scanpan Commercial 30cm frypan
Having used these frypans before and also owning other Scanpan Commercial saucepans and casserole dishes I expected a good quality product. Unfortunately the frypan I received was defective. It builds up food residue and oil on the surface which are impossible to clean or remove via handwashing (consistent with the care instructions) or through the dishwasher. Even using it on the lowest heat, to warm things like roti bread leaves marks and oil on the pan which cannot be removed through washing, scrubbing or soaking. I have now found that u...Read more
sing a special stainless steel cleaner is the only way I can clean this pan of routine food residue and marks - this proved to be so time consuming that I no longer use this pan. To make matters worse, I have been unable to get through to Sheldon and Hammond, who administer the warranty for Scanpan, and several emails have gone unanswered and unacknowledged after 2 weeks. I realise that products can be faulty now and again, but the complete inability to even answer my queries is terrible. While the other Scanpan items I've purchased have all been fine, this experience has completely put me off this brand. In summary, great item if you get one that works as it should, good luck to you if you get a dud like I did. Heats up well and cooks evenly. Long handle stays cool. Defective surface of the frypan makes it impossible to remove oil and food residue (without resorting to using specialist stainless steel cleaner). After sales support non-existent. Sheldon and Hammond don't respond to warranty queries.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love the whole range
I have had quite a few non-stick pans over the years after being talked into it by early 90s marketing (so much healthier! So easy to clean!). All of them were rubbish and the surface would start flaking off after a short time. I had a few concerns about the safety of the materials used in non-stick pans, too. I finally decided to invest in some good quality stainless steel cookware and wish I'd done it years ago! These are superb. They are heavy, heat evenly and quickly, handle high temperatures and are very easy to clean. You only need a lig...Read more
ht coating of oil. The handles are very comfortable and the lids fit perfectly. Plus no chance of the lids breaking! The 20cm frypan is perfect for single pancakes and omelettes. I can highly recommend this range - Kitchenware Direct has them much cheaper than the department stores. Excellent quality, easy to clean, comfortable to handle, cook perfectlySimilar opinion? Finally! No ridiculous glass lids...
Trying to find an top quality induction set without silly glass lids is almost impossible...hooray! I hate the scanpan non stick, but this set is perfect for me. I didn't want 'silicone inserts' and 'glass lids with vents' (like that's a good thing...NOT). Why do you want something breakable/degradable on a cookware set? All glass can break, even tempered; dangerous and silly-a chef friend's experience! Silicone will start to look tatty if thrown in the dishwasher a lot, which I need to do. Want to look in the pot? Lift the lid.
This set is to...Read more

There is no images of the Scanpan Commercial Frypan 30c. I would like to know if there are exposed rivets/screw heads on the inside of the pan?
2 answers
There are no exposed rivets on the inside cooking surface. The surface is smooth and well shaped for cleaning.
Had a look at the the 28cm saute pan today and that was one of the things that put me off. On the 2 attached handles (each with 4 rivets to the pan sides), a total of 7 out of 8 rivets are exposed on the inside of the pan while just one was not exposed but you could see an indentation where it was under the stainless layer. That said they were all sanded flush and smooth but exposed non the less.

Is the Scanpan griddle PTFE/PFOA free ?

To be honest, I have no idea about that, and also, my Scanpan is an old one, the new ones look totally different.
