Have had this pot for less than 3 months and I have only cooked grits in it on low to medium heat using a gas range. I have not used any propellant spray oils and have only used silicone utensils with this pot. It has 2 spots that the non stick has worn off exposing the user to PTFE’s and aluminum. At time of purchase, I did not know that the pot’s non stick surface is made of PTFE’s. SCANPAN states that this is harmless but yet if you do your own research you will see that it is indeed harmful to one’s health and that Scanpan’s claim is false. This pot is a waste of nearly $150. Do not buy this or any of Scanpan’s garbage or you may have to shuck out a few hundred more for a decent pot. Shame on cooking stores for selling this product.

Hello. Please advise how the pan is being cleaned. Cleaning the pan correctly will ensure the non-stick surface remains non-stick
With hot soapy water and a non scratch scourer. Can’t cook eggs tomatoes etc bacon sticks, can’t use metal utensils like they say because they scratch.
Please go to scanpan.com.au to download the non-stick user guide and follow instructions from page 4. Please also click on my short video on how to clean. 99% of issues with the non-stick are due to c...

Purchased the 28cm Pro IQ frypan in January 2021 and 5 months later the non-stick coating has worn away, and the pan is now extremely sticky to cook with.
I've purchased significantly cheaper non-stick pans in the past that have lasted longer than this, so it feels like a big waste of money.

I bought a set of 2 pans looking for dishwasher friendly, non stick pans after the cheap set of 3 pans I bought from big w began to stick terribly after 2-3 years.
And I regret it.
Within months, these several hundred dollar pans managed to begin sticking to everything they cooked. I've gone from what I ideally envisioned when washing of being able to get a clean pan by dishwashing them, to needing to spend 10-15 minutes per pan handwashing them with multiple abrasive products.
I can give kudos to the design of the handle on the pans, no scr...
Read moreews and sturdy. Never loosens. but ultimately, this is an incredibly sticky pan. Not only will I never buy again, but I will actively discourage anyone in the market from these pans. i mostly just end up using the $20 pot that I got 3 years ago and still repels things better than these several hundred dollar non stick scanpans. I could have bought several decades worth of cheaper pans for the price I paid to get a few months worth of usefulness out of a scanpan.Purchased in for $295.

Don’t buy scanpans!!! These were gifts from my parents. Within a year it started to stick. Send them back as they have a lifetime warranty. Just got told they will not replace it as there is carbon buildup!!! What a waste of time & money!!
They are so expensive to buy! You would expect them to last or have great after sale service, but they provided neither
Terrible customer service, terrible useless products.
Purchased for $200.

Got a VERY expensive 5 pc non-stick set for anniversary gift. The non-stick coating came off in huge chunks in some pots, exposing multiple layers. Others it started to bubble and then flake off. We had to throw out food because flakes of non-stick coating were getting in the food. Within 3 months the frypan was so bad we threw it in the bin and replaced with a $20 frypan from Kmart (which is still going perfectly!). The other pots and wok we kept in drawer. Lodged a warranty claim and was told to send them back for a full replacement, however ...
Read moreI ended up in hospital that week and didn't get to return them. Fast forward in time and now that I'm back on my feet I tried to complete the warranty claim again but was refused. They have just been sitting in drawer gathering dust unused. Am told that the 'lifetime' warranty is only 10 yrs, they believe pots are older than that (they have been sitting unused all that time!), and they even had the nerve to say the damage on the wok is because it just needs a scrub! When I enquired about replacing them earlier they had told me it was a faulty batch with the coating and that they were replacing them all, but a different story now apparently. They are going into the bin. I have noticed dept stores always have scanpan at half price. I don't think it's even worth the half price. Don't bother, get another brand. I understand that nothing lasts forever, but I am disappointed with false promises and false warranty guarantees that come at a huge price.Purchased for $700.

I have a non stick SCANPAN frypan. I bought it perhaps 3 years ago, my first and only SCANPAN item. Perhaps it worked OK the first 4 times but food sticks all the time. I certainly did not use high heat on it, and have never had it in the diswasher or scratched it. It is a total waste of time and food actually sticks more that in a regular frypan that has no claim to being non stick. I wonder if it would make a novelty feature in the garden. Don't buy a non stick SCANPAN product.

Hi I would like to know if anyone has had issues with the scan pan induction frypan not cooking all the way across the pan. My 32 cm frypan only cooks in the centre of the pan even though it is on a ring that is large. Its actually useless.
I have a roaster with rack and lid with glass insert. The bottom of my roaster is bubbling quite badly and the coating is lifting. This is the first SCANPAN item that I have had any concerns with.
Sorry, I haven't had any experience with the roaster. All I can suggest is to either take it back to the store you got it from & see what they say. I managed to find a Sheldon & Hammond close to to me...
