I bought these with the promise of long lasting pans from a good brand with a non stick coating that was not bad for my health.
I bought the:
Scanpan HaptIQ Chef Pan 32cm
Scanpan HaptIQ Saucepan 20cm/3.5L
Scanpan HaptIQ Frypan 20cm
Scanpan HaptIQ Frypan 26cm
All of them with the exception of the 20cm pan have now lost their non stick coating and food sticks to them every time.
I did use a metal spatula with one of them (which is apparently fine) which did scratch the pan. So don't recommend that as you will get even less use of the pan. The other were all used with a silicone spatula at a reasonable heat, no dishwasher. Took very good care of them

Paid top dollar for a product which lasted 1 year and Warranty blame it on carbon build up
I paid almost $200 for Scanpan HaptIQ non stick 2.5L pot thinking that it was going to last me years. Fast forward to 1 year after my purchase, I am stuck with a pan that has essentially became a stick pan. I wrote to the Warranty Team and guess what was I told? It was due to carbon build up and my mistake for not cleaning it correctly from the start. Now I am not sure what special methods are required to clean this pot but I am pretty sure it was cleaning thoroughly using a sponge and plenty of detergent from day dot. As it is due to carbon bu...
Read moreild up, Warranty does not cover this so now I am stuck with a crappy $200 standard pot. So beware of the so called 10 years warranty which I thought would be a peace of mind. There appears to be plenty of exclusions and I have just heard this from other friends as well and a few of them have said to avoid these so called high end brands as you are just paying for the brand and so called warranty which at the end just burns you. From now on, I am staying clear from Scanpans. It is NOT worth the money for such poor quality products.Purchased in at Amazon for $195.68.

Hi Rachel.
We have some great tips on maintenance and cleaning on the scanpan.com.au website. There is also a short video that I did last year that shows the best way to look after your non-stick cookware -little and often!...
Read more 'Carbon build-up' is another way of saying built-up and baked-on food residue/oils. It is not a fault of the cookware. We have a freepost service so I think it would be a good idea to send it back to me and I will assess your pan. As always, we replace it if it is faulty. I have a CTX sauté pan that is 13 years old and still going stronger than ever. Here's my email details: [email protected] Contact me here so we can help you.- 3 reviews

Purchased the 28cm Pro IQ frypan in January 2021 and 5 months later the non-stick coating has worn away, and the pan is now extremely sticky to cook with.
I've purchased significantly cheaper non-stick pans in the past that have lasted longer than this, so it feels like a big waste of money.

Very poor quality - some sort of plastic coating peeling off from new - contaminating food
Bought 2 ProIQ pots - both have some sort of polymer coating you can scratch off with a fingernail. Pots look trashed after first use and suspect all that coating is contaminating my food. Terrible product. Have always has Swiss Diamond and that's what I'll replace them with.
Purchased in at Catch for $200.

Fantastic pans when new but ultimately, they won’t last the rigours of regular use. We bought four of the IQ range pans when upgrading our kitchen three years ago. We cook 5-6 nights a week on these pans and are careful to never use metal on them, clean by hand with hot soapy water and never apply too much heat. Ultimately after 3.5 years these pans are ready for the bin. The 10-year warranty isn’t worth the paper its printed on, and many of the online reviews support this notion. Having spent so much on these pans and treating them with care I...
Read more really wanted to love them. Tho in reality they are far from durable or suited to a busy kitchen. For reference we’ve replaced these pans with Solidteknics skillets & enamel-coated cast iron pots. Requiring a bit more love & TLC to season and maintain, but ultimately a far better product in every sense. In summary, don’t both with Scanpan IQ, buy something cheaper and dispose of it after a few years or invest in a non-toxic coating solution.Purchased in at Kitchen Warehouse for $699.

Lasted 6 months and then a large circle no longer non stick, worst customer service for replacement
I have an induction cooktop and was given the 32cm iq for Christmas, after 6 months a large circle radiating from the centre darkened and no longer was non stick. Finally got around in October to filling in a warranty claim and then had to send the pan back to Sheldon & Hammond for assessment. Heard nothing for 3 weeks so rang them and was told "they were very busy and to ring them a week later", I rang again on 30/11 to be told I would be getting a new pan and it would be sent out that day or the next at the latest. It is now a week later and...
Read more I still have not received the replacement. It is now time to complain to consumer affairs, as I started the process of returning the pan under warranty more than 6 weeks ago, and in all that time the only contact from Sheldon and Hammond was to email a warranty claim and when they received that they then told me to return the pan to them. Since then nothing, and my ringing has only resulted in "we are extremely busy". I would never purchase another scanpan on the basis that the distributor is very customer unfriendly, and for over a $100 the pan only lasted 6 months. REPLACEMENT NOW HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY SAY IT IS CARBON FROM NOT BEING CLEANED,- Date Purchased

The wok is a new one bought for my new induction hotplate. It is so easy to cook with, and just wipes clean :-)
Love it, as I have previously loved my previous wok (which sadly is not induction suitable). Works beautifully on the induction plate for any size meal, for up to 10 people!

Really good pan, we bought the 28cm pan with cover, cover is really good and fits perfectly, no need to find another clangy glass cover. Non stick surface dependable and of good quality, even good for high heat asian cooking. Can use with Induction which is a plus.

This series is the best non stick fry pan I have ever used. After the first 30 (or 32)cm pan I purchased from internet. I started to replace all my pans and pots one after one. You can even use metal utensil to cook, coz the technique they use is different than other brands. I won't recommend cleaning in dishwasher even it's dishwasher safe. If you want to use this pan as long as you can, then stop throwing them in dishwasher. Trust me, really easy to clean as nothing sticks on the pan.
the surface is real NON STICK

The Scanpan IQ frypan is beautifully weighted with a surface that is a pleasure to cook with. Non-stick to the max and so easy to clean. I have several Scanpan pieces now and love them all from the Scanpan Classic roaster (wow...who knew cleaning up after a roast could be so easy) to the IQ Square Grill (love those grill marks!) to the Impact saucepan with it's beautiful, solid stainless steel finish.
Good weight and a breeze to clean.
