Worst investment ever! Completely conned by the shiny brochure and false promises of the sales person.
Purchased the Sealy Elegance Luxury Plush King mattress with matching bases from David Jones in July 2022 for $10,5000! We waited 4 weeks for delivery.
Received the bed in Sept 2022, the bed immediately felt very different from the store. We were told by the sales person at David Jones that the mattress in the store will feel very different from the mattress you get home. shiny brochure had advertised. I could fee the buttons that were sewn into the pillow top. The buttons could be felt even with a mattress protector onto. Pushing into my hips causing me pain each morning. One of the requirements of the mattress was that it had to support my hip given I had had hip surgery and needed a mattress that supports hip and the back area. Within days my husband and I were complaining that our backs and necks were hurting, each of us needing to see physiotherapists to alleviate pain. Within weeks, after putting up with the pain, we called customer service requesting a review of our mattress. We were told to give it 3 months as it takes this amount of time for the body to adjust to the new mattress and for body indentions etc, we regularly rotated the mattress every two weeks and sleep in the centre of the mattress as recommended. In Nov 2022 I again contacted customer service to request a review of our mattress. By this stage the buttons were unbearably uncomfortable and now the mattress was sagging and both of us were definitely not waking up refreshed and now in more pain than before. What can only be described as ‘rude customer service’ we had two Sealy representations come out to review the mattress. Not one of our concerns were taken into account. Our mattress was carted away and returned at the end of the day in the same state as it left.Purchased in July 2021 at David Jones.

Terrible mattress
I was sold this mattress as king size slat mattress from Harvey Norman for $4500. I sent it back as it was sagging on both sides and had a lump right down the middle, it is not fixed

Worst mattress I have ever bought and paid more then $11k from David Jones
We purchased this mattress only 12months ago. As you would image we were so excited it was a rather large investment for what we imagined would last for years.
With in 3 months It started sagging and by 4months I had to start going to a physiotherapist because I started getting terrible hip and ankle pain. I was in complete denial that it was my bed but I travel a lot for work and soon realised whilst I was away the pain would go away within two days and returned immediately the next day I slept in that bed.

Where Have You Been All My Life?
This is the best sleep we’ve had in years. This gorgeous bed supports my hips and lower back while still giving great comfort. My husband who also has aches and pains, is sleeping through the night too. I wish we had invested in this bed sooner!

Really Disappointed
Purchased this mattress one year ago and it’s rubbish. We previously had a top of the line Sealy mattress purchased in Hong Kong when we lived there. This original mattress was manufactured in Thailand and it was excellent. We had the original one for about 7 years and this was the reason we went for a new top end Sealy. What a disappointing decision. Paying top dollar and getting a substandard product. It has saggy spots both sides and causes aches and pains in our bodies. We have tried multiple pillow types and paid many hundreds trying to get a good nights sleep, to no avail.

Sleep like royalty!
2 weeks in and we couldn’t be happier with our new Crown Jewel sealy bed!! We purchased the ultra plush from the range which I cannot recommend enough if you are the type of person who enjoys a soft, “sleep on a cloud” mattress that is still VERY supportive. I have always chosen plush mattresses much to the dismay of my partner who enjoys a firmer one. Well even he is now a plush mattress. Sore necks and backs have disappeared and we have both experienced some of the best undisturbed sleeps we’ve had in years. From start to finish the buying process was so easy. The sealy staff at Myer Toowoomba were extremely knowledgeable about the product and fantastically helpful without being pushy.

Love my Sealy crown jewel
I thought I had a problem with my new Crown Jewel bed, when it got lumpy and uncomfortable. After contacting Sealy, I was relieved how quickly they arranged for my mattress to be inspected. They told me that what I was describing was not normal – they took away my mattress and did a warranty repair - all on the same day. Now my bed is like new and is fabulously comfortable. Thank you Sealy for your prompt and professional service.
