Worst mattress I have ever bought!
This mattress was reasonably priced and looked good. It has a pillow top and had great reviews. Within a year this mattress started sagging really bad. We turned it around and it worked better for about a week. I am now finally getting another mattress and I will never buy a foam mattress again! I hate this mattress.

Excellent mattress, so comfortable
Very supportive mattress, purchased for my 4 year old so it can hopefully last her until her teen years, it's very supportive for our backs having slept in there for a few times. Very happy with our purchase

Great Mattress
I purchased a Sealy Posture Premier around 4 years ago, for a double bed, it has been a brilliant mattress...I am upgrading to a king size bed now and hope I get the same great quality and comfort as this mattress has been.

Bitterly disappointed
I bought a sealy posturepedic bed in the $4000 range 6 months ago as I would wake up with lower back pain on my old mattress. It was heavenly at first, but now, if I stay in bed longer than 7-8 hrs, the back pain is back, and I have to get up as the pain prevents any further sleep. This was supposed to be a good brand, so I feel cheated and enraged at being ripped off like this. Now I have to look for another bed as I can't live like this. Thumbs down to Sealy.

I bought a Sealy Mattress because I had a good experience with my old one. This is only 24 months ol
I noticed it within the first 3 months but I thought being a new mattress, I will get used to it. I changed pillows thinking they were the cause but it is the mattress. I have pain in my mid back which I have never ever had before. We can't afford to buy another. I am so disappointed. I was hoping that it would give me a better sleep.

Saggy Mattress and warranty not worth the piece of paper its written on
4 year old mattress did not hold up. It is saggy to the point where you both roll into the middle which makes for an uncomfortable sleep. I contacted Sealy who said that if my slats were more than 3.5cm apart on my bed I do not qualify for a warranty (what bed shop sells a bed with slats are 3.5cm apart). They also stated that the sag must be at least 3.2cm. How ridiculous that the sag must be roughly equal to the slat distance to qualify for a warranty. They suck you in with their 10 year warranty but have so many strings attached. They ...Read more
stated I could send it back however because I am outside Melbourne I have to pay transport costs and if they find nothing wrong with I i cop and even higher fee. I sent photos of my mattress to them and you can clearly see the sag its not 3.2cm but that is a big sag. The sag I have is closer to 2cm but feels greatly amplified when lying on it. Very disappointing. All I can do is warn others. (033161022212)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I purchased a Lifestyle Medium Posture Premier Mattress from Harvey Norman.
Sealy beds have always been my number 1 choice for my entire family, mainly
for comfort and value for money.
I feel very relaxed on my new Posture Premier Mattress, bed is very comfy
and I wake up feeling good.
Thank you Sealy
A very comfortable bed.

Worst bed ever
having been a sufferer of lower back pain for many years I bought this bed in October 2011 with the assumption that this would make life easier for me.
4 years late I am now having to part with my $1000 mattress after waking every morning almost a cripple.
This bed has little or no support for the spine and as everyone else contends, sags dreadfully and requires rotating every 7-10 days.
have spoken to Sealy about having it repaired and that will cost me another $500 so I'm just going to go buy a new mattress that's not a Sealy.
Shocking and appalling false advertising by what is regarded as a highly reputable company.

HORRIBLE BED
This is the worst bed that I have ever slept in.
I purchased a Sealy Centro Medium from Domayne. It is a bed for the guest room and does not get a lot of use. From the day it was delivered it did not feel like the bed which we tested at Domayne. Given that hundreds of people try out the beds at the store I was willing to wait a bit to see if we would "break the bed in" it could get softer after a couple of months use. No it did not. And over the 3 months that we have had it - its still as uncomfortable as ever.
The bed is hard - in f...Read more
act very hard - not medium - I even went to check on the label attached to the mattress to see if they delivered the wrong bed. No the label said it was medium. But it certainly is no where near a medium! This bed is so uncomfortably hard that we and embarrassingly guests who have stayed with us have tossed and turned and not gotten an average (not even aiming for a good here) nights sleep from not being able to find a comfortable position. And then having aches and pains caused from the hardness of the bed. Just horrible. This is not what I expect after spending close to $1000 on a Queen Bed ensemble.Similar opinion? Shame what Sealy brand has become!
Bought Sealy PosturePremier from Harvey Norman. Had problem with it from day 1. The mattress gives way too much wherever weight is applied. I can't sit on the bed watching TV as my body keep sliding down and it gives me terrible backache after doing that for a while. Sleeping on it is slightly better but I'd still wake up with back pain. Each morning after getting up, the mattress still shows cradle where my hip was and I'm just an average build person (164 cm tall 65 kg). The dent/cradle would still be there many hours after.

Sealy Spinecare Surpreme
In the last 3 months I am now waking up in pain every morning now in my hip and lower back. When I purchased the mattress I asked about firmness and the seller recommended me one to suit my sleeping position but now I can't sleep well anymore. I only purchased the mattress two years ago and feel really disappointed with buying this now.
I can only turn the mattress due to the pillow top and can't flip it over which is a downside.
Expensive. Pillow top means only turning and not flipping mattress

Total Waste of Money....Never Buy Sealy Again!
Will never buy Sealy again! Soft top makes sleeping very hot and uncomfortable. After two years we have had to replace the mattress...totally useless, feels as if it has no springs and sags in the middle. We contacted Sealy as it was supposed to have a ten year guarantee. What a joke their guarantee is.....reading information from their website it was plain to see that getting it fixed was a waste of time......after a year all return costs are met by the purchaser!
They say it is acceptable for the mattresses to have sagged up to 32 mm! It ...Read more
also says...... Bed height is not covered....so when the springs as in our bed had sagged and offered no support it wasn't covered! Springs would have to be the main part of the bed and Sealy doesn't cover this! What a con! Two years and we had to replace it, too hot, sagged and offered no body support. Lumpy and useless and their guarantee is a total Con!5 comments

Excellent
I didn't sleep very well the first night on this mattress. I went from a sagging ultra plush mattress, which felt like sleeping in a ditch, to a firm supportive mattress. The mattress felt firmer than in the showroom, but after a few nights the mattress broke in softened and now I sleep better than ever. I can't provide any information on it's durability as it's only been one month, but at the moment it is the best mattress I have ever owned and probably the cheapest.

Terrible bed - do not buy a Sealy
We purchased a Sealy Garden of Eden Ensemble / Mattress before we were married. It was fabulous! When we went away on holidays we were always so pleased to get home to our comfy bed. We had no reservations at all about just purchasing another Sealy. We replaced our beautiful old mattress, with a rather expensive, top of the range plush mattress that looked luxurious, was lovely in the shop and the sales assistant told me we don't have to flip it or rotate it ( i asked specifically because it is such a big heavy pillow top mattress ). Within 6 m...Read more
onths we had huge dips in the mattress on either side, so bad you could see body impressions even with bed made fluffed up and doona cover over. I contacted the retailer, Capt S, and they just suggested I contact Sealy. A representative came out, from Rocklea or that direction, measured the dips, and advised that was acceptable but as a good will gesture they would pick up and same day return the mattress restored. ( I can't remember if they charged a nominal amount- I doubt it was free) It became the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on, and we woke with sore backs every single morning until we threw it in the tip! Don't trust the sales talk. Sealy aren't the quality manufacturers of mattresses they used to be. Very expensive to throw it out after 2 years! Beware. Looked fab when new, hoped it would provide comfortable sleep. Expensive and Really Uncomfortable....1 comment

looks like a nice mattress but the chemical odour does not encourage me to sleep in it or give me an impression that is would be healthy to inhale for extended time.
no chance to find out as did not get to sleep in it
chemical odour that would not go away ( it has been a month now)
very, very poor customer service from forty winks and sealy who decline to acknowledge the problem.
