Dryer is economical to buy.
Mainly used to finish off line drying that isn't quite dry.
Not the biggest dryer out there but it does the job.
I have dried 5 towels and a few washers with no issues.
Had a good sized dent in the front when unpacked which was disappointing, hence 4 stars.

This dryer is a very simple and easy to use dryer you load the clothes and off it goes I wish Simpson would have a option to have a rack to dry shoes. Overall this dryer is great quality that just does it job without any problems. Would recommend to anyone

I love it. I try not to use it very often but it is great for those "still damp clothes" emergencies. It drys clothes quickly, it is not very loud and i find it incredibly simple to use. Everything you would expect from a clothes dryer. I honestly can't complain.

This 4 kg dryer is perfect for my family in this cold and rainy winter.
The size is not big and I mounted it onto wall without any difficulty, just on top of my washing machine.
It's simple and quiet, although no pipe to the outdoor but almost no steam in the laundry.

Love my new Simpson SDV501. Put it on for a set time 30-40-45 mins - and it dries and cools down whilst airing. My old dryer needed longer to dry and was hot at the end. Items come out crease free, fluffy and dry. Loving the results so far. Hope the electricity bill reflects.

I am happy with our purchase. I think it's well priced. I have a newborn and kids have started school ... Need to speed up clothes drying process especially during winter. Clothes are dry after 90 minutes. Reliable. Good size. Not too big. Can be mounted on the wall. We placed it mounted on top of the washer to save space. Our laundry is not spacious. Only had it over a week. Only 2 stars for energy efficiency but we don't run it a lot - 90 mins every other day. Happy with this product.

Its quite, works well with simple controls and doesn't cost too much. The controls are the old style set temp and turn the control knob to the time you want easy. Bought from appliances online, they unpack, put it where you want and delivery is free, also they will take away your old machine. I have only owned it for a month but is good so far.

I was looking for a reasonably priced drier, and I am happy with the way this dries our clothes, and the fact that it doesn't take too long. It is quiet however, the only problem with it is that it does use a lot of power, but its not easy to get a reasonably price dryer that is efficient too.

It's a simple value for money clothes dryer. I bought it from the good guys, when they had it on special. I also 20% off. The thing, it could improve upon is the number of options to dry the clothes. The lent collector could be also of a better quality.

I recently purchased this clothes dryer to complement my washing machine. It cannot be faulted. It is quiet, efficient and easy to use. I like the different settings that are available, that make sure that your clothing is not damaged. It has a digital timer that you can pre set and a warning device buzzer that activates, if you put too much clothes or clothes that are too wet, into the dryer. It will also automatically cut out if it senses water in our under the unit. (Which I think is an excellent safety device) For anyone that wants a good quality, mid priced dryer for their home, I highly recommend this product.

I went with Simpson as I had a Simpson washer which lasted a decade. This is a large bowl machine, very simple settings, very easy to use. Was light enough for one or two people to pick up and install. I've never had a dryer before and this was needed after three weeks of march rain. Would recommend.
