Constantly getting the error EFO on the machine, have obeyed the instructions of the technician of not to overfill the machine etc yet only have 5 towels (not even 2kgs) in the machine and constantly getting errors with this machine

My washer wont allow me to start a new load. Every time I attempt to press any buttons it gives me 3 quick beeps. Ive tried holding down the start/pause button for 3 secs but to no avail. Ive also switched it off from the power but that didnt work either. Please help!

I can't work out how get to the lint filter or if there is a lint filter on the low agitator model. Any help?

Hi .. we didn't have the machine long enough to need to clean the lint filter.. it had to go back with issues. But I googled the manual for you. I hope this link helps. Scroll to where the information is that you need

Hi Cathy, I sent an email back to Tania at electrolux asking her to contact me via phone which she did this morning. Tania was keen to sort the issue and explained procedure to have the machine assessed etc. I had already organised a replacement from retailer I purchased through (Appliances Online) who will deliver as soon as the machine I want is in stock, so no need for Tania to follow through. Appliances Online are amazing. You are within your rights to request a replacement from retailer if want or talk to Tania and they will organise replacement if the technician thinks necessary. Hope this helps.

I am back again reference Simpson Washing machine SWT9043 We have had two servicemen look at this machine, the last one recommended that we clean the machine with caustic soda or CLR once a week because residue clings to our clothes. We use cold rain water and liquid detergent, wash cycle full, plenty of water.. We are both close to eighty years old so do not have dirty clothes. If you have to use chemicals in your washing machine, it flies in the face of their ECO-water ratings. Does anyone else have this problem? Nola W

I am very unhappy with my simpson SWT 9043. Last Simpson had for over 20 years wonderful. Finished wash has streaks all thorough it. Tried lots of difference detergents, use correct amount. Wash in rain water. Not a patch on my old Simpson. Anyone got any suggestions. What program to run on?

Is there too many clothes in the machine or not enough water going into it.
Thanks Diana for reply, have tried 1/2 number of clothes still have streaks on cothes, when you rub garmet together comes off, looks awful on dark clothes. Have like a fine powder in bottom of machine, have to wipe out after doing washing. Water is an normal going into washing machine from scheme. Keep wondering if have a faulty machine. Nola W

Will not complete a wash, it fills washes then it won’t pump out and spin, the codes on the display is EFO. Any help?

Hi Rick,.. I think that there may be a error code explanation in the handbook but unfortunately i cann't put my hands on my copy. I am sure there is a reset function as well. If any problems then I would contact Simpson for sure. Good luck.
