Hi I’m looking at buying another mattress Our Madison Grand is 18 mths old and at $3000 and sagging body impressions of 30 to 50mm and to soft. I now have back pain.
If I buy a sleeping duck firm king will it have body impressions after 6 mths and if I don’t like it will I get a full refund. Regards Goodi

We do provide a 10 year warranty for our mattress.
The warranty covers excessive body imprints only. In the general course of use, if you find the body imprint you have left on the mattress is larger than 30mm deep then we will assess it as a warranty case.
Please note that the warranty can be voided in the case of incorrect bed base use. You can refer to this section on our website on the 'Warranty' page.
All of our mattresses, pillows and sheets come with a 100 night guarantee. The 100 nights start once the item has been delivered. If you find that the mattress firmness isn’t right for you, we can coordinate a change of firmness free of charge. If you don’t love our mattress, pillow or sheets during the 100 nights, let us know within that period, and you can return it to receive a refund of the purchase price. We cover any expenses involved in the return.

Im having trouble deciding between your mattress and a conventional store one. Both are around the same price. You say your medium feel is a 5.5 for firmness. That isnt exactly firm.You also say you sink into it. By just how much? Also as the layers are not glued together do they not shift and buckle during sleep? I don't want to buy yet ANOTHER mattress that dosen't work for me.(would be my 5th this year) also your delivery service dosen't sound real easy when a person has to work.

What a rubbishing answer Sleeping Duck. I HATE firm mattresses and was TRYING to assess if the medium would be suitable for my needs. You didn't bother to answer my question about the layers moving possibly. And i guess your not paying to fly me from Perth to Sydney or Melbourne to try your mattress as you suggested. Well you have made my mind up for me. Local bed shop here i come!
We have a king size Sleeping Duck in medium and I have to say that there is a hump in the middle of the bed where the foams join. I have been sleeping on it by myself as my husband is away. I am very concerned about the amount the foam is going to move once we start sharing the bed. We still have ours within the return time frame.

what is the weight of the medium double-double? Am using a Domino mattress which has ridged in the centre, my back is sore when I first get out of bed and, although only 24 cm thick, is virtually too heavy for even my wife and I can manage to change the bed or rotate it. We are both 80 yr-old & I have a dicky heart. How does sleeping duck compare in this area?

Our double mattress is approximately 42kg heavy and 31cm thick. Unfortunately we're not familiar with a Domino mattress, and can't provide a comparison.

There will be an initial new car smell when the mattress is initially opened. This is due to the mattress being vacuum sealed.
Most customers find that this smell dissipates quite quickly, however everyone is a little different. If you find you're having difficulty please get in touch with us directly to help troubleshoot the issue further.
Our 100 night trial does not have any additional fees. Provided we can deliver to you within our delivery range, your return will be free as will your firmness swaps.

If by electric bed you're referring to a bed that can adjust and bend at angles, our mattress will not be suitable.
However items such as electric blankets are okay to use with our mattress, as the heat will not affect the foam layers.

can you fit a ziper on both sides of the mattress so that the mattress can be flipped as well as rotated?

At the moment the zipper is only on the one side, which allows access to the foam layers. However this does mean it should only be rotated, as flipping the mattress will mean you're sleeping on the springs directly.

We very interested in getting one of your mattress. We have a hypothetical question regarding the firmess swap. As we cannot make it to the showroom to test it out. Has any customers say ordered the firm mattress then swapped for medium after the 3 weeks only to realise the original firm was actually better. Rather that getting a refund at the 100 day mark, what are the options. Sorry for the weird question. hope you can help!

Jean, Sleeping Duck let you keep the old foam so you can swap it back in again. We have our foam from a swap stored under our bed in case my partner changes his mind!
