Very comfortable, fantastic service, worth the money
I bought this for my teenager who has worn through sprung mattresses in the past - he’s tall, heavy and likes to lay in bed a lot. It is brilliant. Great customer service, everything was made easy. The mattress is amazingly comfortable and seems very robust. I am positive it will endure! Great value - really worth it.

Could not try mattress as the fumes were toxic. SD said all the same and did not test it.
Beware toxic fumes. The mattress was not even laid on so not worth one star
Ordering and delivery was OK, but the mattress was full of toxic fumes. I was unable to remain in or near the bedroom. I were advised to unzip the mattress and air the foams outside. This we did for 7 days.
I don't believe anyone could have slept on this mattress. Several days after the mattress was returned to SD, our friends could smell the fumes emanating from an open door, some 9 metres away from the bedroom.

As we talked through with you during the process of your return, due to the compression and vacuum sealing of our Sleeping Ducks, it is not unusual for there to be an odour present upon unpacking and removal from their packaging. In our experience the level to which these smells are apparent and noticeable primarily varies from person to person and their particular sensitivities to different odours. We have found the time it takes for the smell to dissipate can vary from person, room to room, and environment to environment. It is is non-toxic, and as we discussed, all elements of our Sleeping Ducks have been tested by GECA to show no detectable Volatile Organic Compounds (these are often a primary concern in mattresses, especially those that use significant amounts of foam). When a customer does enquire about how to potentially expedite the removal of the odour we do recommend and walk them through those same airing out steps in order to do so. All Sleeping Ducks do come with that 100 night guarantee. This is vital as it enables a customer to return a Duck for a full refund within those first 100 nights after delivery if it just doesn't work out for them. This includes if they are particularly affected by that initial odour of the mattress. The primary reason why we didn't proceed with an exchange, rather than the return and refund that all of our customers are entitled to, is that as every Sleeping Duck undergoes the same compression and packaging process to prepare it for delivery we would not be confident that you yourself wouldn't experience the same issues with another new mattress. I bought one for my daughter and it is so good that I purchased one for my son 4 weeks later. Amazing!!
I have purchased 2 sleeping Duck mattresses and we are so happy. The kids have never slept better. Great value, we spent over $4000 on our mattress and in my opinion the a Sleeping Duck is much better value. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great bed.

Best Mattress Ever!
This mattress is both comfortable and supportive, comparing more than favourably with much pricier competition. My sleep has improved, and my back is pain free. Delivery was simple, and installation was easy. I’m so happy we chose Sleeping Duck, I’m recommending them to everyone!

I bought this for the guest room
I wasn't sure whether to get a medium or firm mattress but decided to start with the medium and if that wasn't right I could get an insert for it. As it turned out the medium is perfect. I have back and hip problems and I slept in the guest room for the first night to test it ... and then wanted to stay there. We've had some very hot nights and the mattress has not felt like it retained heat.Three guests have said it is so comfortable they couldn't get out of bed.

Worth it!
Great mattress. It is for my daughter and I sleep on in sometimes because it is so comfortable and cosy. Right amount of softness and support. I love it. Worth it and I am sure my daughter will enjoy sleeping on it for many, many years.

Great Mattress
After doing some research decided to go with the Sleeping Duck Pro in a king single for my son. He is very happy with the mattress. I suffer with back problems and decided to have an afternoon nap to see what it was like and I am now saving to buy the queen for myself. Great mattress sleeping duck.

Ok, it was comfortable when we got it and its ok now, 1 year 8 months in. BUT.....the bed is sagging massively both sides and I have turned it as specified. The foam top seems to lose its structure somewhat. I am not the smallest, but certainly not the biggest bloke at under 18 stone. My wife is under 12 stone. but you get used to it you know. I wonder if they will honour the guarantee? I shall let you know. June 3rd 2018 Update: This bed does NOT last very long In the beginning this bed was great. Comfortable, a massive improvement on our last bed and good value, or so we thought. After a year and a bit, lumps and bumps started appearing, despite having been religious in the turning regime. I was offered by sleeping duck, a replacement for the top foam. The top foam is indeed the problem. Basically, if you are any way heavy (Im 18 stone), it appears that the turning is pushing the thinner foam into a fold, which has difficulty in going away, as the material that encases the foam resists against the second layers encasement (all inside the main bed which is accessible via a zip and not particularly easy). The only way to remove the lumps is to take the whole thing apart and this works for a while. But I have noticed the materials between the foams are rubbing against each other and causing the lumps to be harder to remove. This is a factual account, not someone just moaning for the sake of it. My wife absolutely hates this bed now. We have had it for two and a half years and now it needs replacing. So, NOT so good value now in my mind. Sleeping duck have offered to replace the top foam, and perhaps I should have taken the offer, but this will not solve the long term issues. I expect a bed to last eight to ten years, I think that is fair an average these days, but the problems started within one and a half years. I am disappointed,and would not consider this company again. You get what you pay for and this bed is cheap. It offers great comfort at first but in our experience it does not last.1 comment

Sleeping Duck - amazing mattresses!
Waking up daily with a back ache and stiff hips and sufferring exhaustion, I did a reasonable amount of online research and had discussions with a variety of in store sales staff and tried a variety of mattresses before making my choice.

Honestly, I was not sure whether it was a good idea to purchase a mattress online as I had to head to a store, lay around and try to figure out which mattress is the right one. Unfortunately, this often made me even more confused. That was why I decided to give Sleeping Duck a go and I'm glad I did! Amazing mattress. Very comfortable and supportive.
