Soraya Aasked
May sound silly. But I’ve never used one of these packages before. How do I mix it? And how much of what. Thank you!
1 answer
Hi Soraya, it’s a very simple step, I do mine this way. Into a jug I add 250 to 300 mls of Cold water ( I used chilled water ) open the sachet into the jug and I use a Hand held little mixer till the drink looks like a milkshake, then sit down and enjoy all the flavors, mines Chocolate!

Is it safe to take if you have high blood pressure? Can it interact with BP medication?
1 answer
Hi Jan. I can't give you a firm answer to that. You would need to ask your doctor. All I can say from my experience is that it was my doctor who put me on a different shake to replace a meal as I'm having difficulty losing weight. I have regulated BP, and my GP is aware of that condition and clearly did not come up with contra-indications. But I will add I only looked at changing to the Aldi brand as it's cheaper. I would have run it by her if I intended to change shakes.
Sueasked
Hi do I have to your shakes with skim milk or water?

Hi Sue,
You can use either Water Or milk, just make sure you take them straight from fridge to use,
Makes your drink nice and thick like a milk shake, then Enjoy!

Have just tried the coffee flavour shake; it was fantastic. Can I buy it in a larger quantity? The sachets will prove too expensive and cumbersome to store so many in the pantry.

Do people have the shakes or the bars solely on their own or have a proper meal in between eg. Toast, fruits, salads n nuts?
I have just only started on the shakes n bars n feel weak n had to use the toilet several times. I might be doing it wrong in terms of calorie control. Thanks.

I avoid the bars, they didn't help me with the weight loss at all.
-My typical day starts with a coffee and i make a bowl of greek yogurt with fruit.
-snack (some nuts and a banana)
-lunch a shake
-snack (something full of protein)
-Dinner a shake.
I like to also like to add tuna,or boiled chicken breast, and try and keep a very simple quinoa salad in the fridge for the days i feel extra hungry.
quinoa salad is very simple and very filling.
ingredients:
QUINOA
TOMATOES
CHIVES
PARSLEY
CUCUMBER
LEMMON JUICE
SALT & PEPPER
chop it all very fine, like a tabouli season with lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper
And you have a salad that lasts up to 3 days in the fridge.
Carry some gum & mints your breath is a little oniony.
Goodluck, don't forget lots and lots of water.
The Shakes are made to have on there own as a total meal replacement the bars are for in between to help with that in between hunger time. Because your body’s changing and you are not used to this diet yet you will experience some unpleasant feelings but be sure they will go away here’s a site I love https://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/health-and-fitness/health/why-healthy-eating-causes-that-uncomfortable-feeling/article22275762/?service=amp this should help :-) good luck and don’t give up this diet dose work iv lost 40kg with this diet plus healthy exercising. Hope I could help :-)))

How should you drink these? Meaning quickly in one hit, or over 10-15 minutes?
1 answer
Hi Linda, I blend one sachet in a bullet with 3-4 ice cubes along with 2 table spoons of Benefibre. The ice cubes makes the shake thick, almost like a (STARBUCKS FRAPPACCINO - CONSISTENCY) Which lets me sip on it for approx 5-10 minutes. The slower you drink it the better, because studies show half the time you think your hungry, your actually thirsty, and you should wait 10-15 minutes after a glass of water to see if you are still hungry before eating a meal or snack. I try and have my last shake at 7:30pm and not eat anything after that. Good Luck with your weight loss journey.

I cant find the ALDI SLIM AND TRIM anywhere. I note at the top of the page it says that the product has been discontinued. Does anyone know anything about this?
2 answers
I doubt they are discontinued as I bought some last night in my local Aldi. I hope they're not discontinuing them as I'm in the middle of my weight loss journey!!!
Here's hoping. I've been using them for nutrition and fir breakfast for three years and have never been unable to purchase them. I have also contacted ALDI via their customer service asking the question. It really is a great product .

Glucose derived from wheat is considered gluten free. It can also be derived from Corn.

Hi could anyone tell me if these shakes are VLCD (very low calorie diet shakes)? I'm currently on optifast but the bank account is not liking me for them. Hoping these are VLCD so I can stock up on triple the amount for the same price.

Hi, this is my first time taking this but i don't know when to start taking whether it be in the morning or afternoon can you please help?
2 answers
I'm taking it for breakfast and dinner and for lunch i have a cooked meal of meat and salad or vege
This is usually how my day goes. I'll have almonds and cranberries for morning tea/brekky, at lunch I'll have some crackers and tuna then have my shake and that keeps me full from about 1-7 when I have dinner. My biggest issue was getting home at 5 and binge eating because I was so hungry from having lunch at midday. I find the shakes really keep me fuller for longer and curb the need to snack
