Can these be taken for three meals a day for a short period of time & if so how long?
Taryn D.asked
What do you eat in between the shakes? What does a typical day look like for people including snacks?
2 answers
G’day. Breakfast Aldi shake, morning snack nuts or fruit, lunch salad sandwich or grilled fish and veggies or tuna & rice cakes & salad (if I’m out I’ll pack lunch or purchase a healthy option). Afternoon tea fruit, yoghurt, or an Aldi Essential Health 30gram protein bar. Dinner Aldi shake...... I cut out alcohol!!!! Also consume 2 plus litres of water & herbal tea. I enjoy my morning coffee.... this works for me. I prefer to have the shakes for breakfast & dinner as I like to have a good lunch! :-)
Also the Aldi Slim & Trim 55grams meal replacement bar is great if you are out & about. I don’t consume them though as the shakes fit in with my lifestyle.

Hi
Just wondering why the low sugar slim and trim shakes have disappeared off the shelves? They were great!

G’day. Aldi customer service have stated the shakes were not as popular as the original, so they have since been taken off the shelves.

Where do I find information on what a meal plan should look like with Trim and Slim? If I have 1 shake for breakfast and a protein bar for lunch, what other snacks can I have and what should my dinner include? Optifast has a phase 1, 2 etc. Should I be following any particular phases for rapid/optimum weight loss and or ketosis with Trim and Slim?
1 answer
As the slim and trim is almost identical to the Optifast shakes, can i suggest you consider looking at the optifast website. you will get a full menu plan, weigh in option etc. I think you will find this really helpful - i have.

How do you make the shake?
1 answer
1. Put 200 ml of either just plain water or reduced fat milk first into the shaker. (I like to have my milk warm so I often microwave the milk for about 20 secs to 30 secs.
2. Pour in the powder from the sachet.
3. Shake it up and enjoy :D

Is there a low sugar version?
1 answer
Don't freak out about it. The sugar is the same as a half can of coke and really isn't that much in the long run as you're only supposed to have two of these a day. But the proteins will make you feel full for longer and you'll get no cravings for something more.
If you balance this with good exercise and vegetables it's the best weight loss plan.

What is the difference between the slim and trim and rapid shakes? Picked up at Aldi didnt notice they were different until home ..
3 answers
Hi Amber to be completely honest I have no idea. All I can say is that I have tried many diet shakes out there on the market. Although they all have different ingredients I am assuming that they are all meant to do the same thing and that is to help people to lose weight. It is totally up to the individual person on what brand of diet shake they like. All claim if you replace 3 meals a day with their shakes, drink 2 litres of water a day and exercise you will see results. Some shakes are very watery and others well they are enough to make someone vomit and then you come across some really nice ones that are thick and make you feel full for longer. I can only give a review on my own experience to what I think of Aldi slim and trim, but at the end of the day its up to each consumer to find which product suits them. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.
I think they are the same. I picked up the Slim and Trim pack and the difference between the two packs was my one came with a shaker and the Rapid Trim had extra sachets. Just check the calorie count. If they're approx., 205 calories then they're the same. Hope this helped ☺
Hi Amber, I researched it a bit more and Slim and Trim is a meal replacement shake, Rapid Trim is a muscle building shake taken before or after exercise so two different shakes.
