Disappointed
This cooktop was given to us as part of our build. We were excited thinking wow.. its a quality brand. However, it is not to our expectation. It takes a while to ignite - you got to hold down for few seconds so its annoying.
We had a boil spill over, (isn't this common?) and the burner ring rusted immediately due to that. I tried to clean it off.. and the shiny silver ring turned dull chrome but the rust remains. There goes our less than a month new look. Not happy.
My old cheap Chef cooktop didnt do that and yes we always have spills and yes, they still shine after 7 years.

Spark keeps not working - gas doesn't light well
I have had this cooktop for a little over 12 months. The spark needs to be held in for multiple shocks before gas ignites - annoying. The ignition spark post for the wok burner has been replaced once and now needs replacing again!!! I purchased this brand thinking it was a quality product. Never again.

Great Cooktop
Swapped my electric cooktop for a Smeg gas cooktop. Was a bit wary at first but it is easy to use and easy to clean. The auto shut off valve is an assurance if something goes wrong. If you have any spills it is contained on the cooktop and easy to clean up. The parts can all be washed in warm soapy water. The stainless steel is easy to keep clean. Great buy.

I own this model and while I agree it is fantastic to use, I'm finding the wok burner impossible to clean. I've tried warm soapy water, scrubbing and a variety of cleaners and nothing works, which is disappointing as it's only 6 months old and looks terrible. Any ideas???

I have found this problem too. I have tried many cleaners but what seems to work best is a non-scratch scourer with a cleaner but you can't lift all of it. You're right it doesn't look to good but that is all I can suggest.
