Life saver
I have only had this dishwasher a few weeks, but it is awesome. It is super quiet, the loudest part of the cycle is the water filling. It cleans superbly using regular tablets; no need for the fancy more expensive ones. Dishes come out clean and sparkling. At first, I found it a little difficult to load, so I removed some of the gadgets in the drawers and it is a lot easier now. It comes with a cutlery drawer and a basket. We use the dishwasher drawer because it allows more space on the bottom shelf and my cutlery drawer is right next to the dishwasher for ease of transfer.

Still Undecided
Purchased as part of a kitchen package. It doesn't dry the dishes unless you put it on eco. Cutlery rack is a waste of space so have removed it. Push buttons are hard to operate or press, not sure if this is a fault. It's too small (low) for my opening, my previous Bosch dishwasher fitted perfectly. Pellet of soap sometimes does not dissolve. I like the LED lighting. Smeg products are nowhere near as good as they used to be,. $1740 overrated product from Harvey Norman

Average but does the job
This particular dishwasher is very basic. It has only three time delay options (three, six or nine hour) increments. The dishwasher is particularly average when washing dishes as not always you get a good clean and very rarely you see your dishes dry (even after using the most power hungry setting) it is not as quite as an Asko. In addition their has been numerous occasions where the pellet of soap has not dissolved during the wash therefore another wash is required. Our thoughts... save your money and get something else.

So far so good....
No issues with cleaning dishes so far after a couple loads.
Pretty quiet operation, though not exactly silent.
Button lock feature to stop my toddler from mucking around with it is great, though I'm guessing a lot of dishwashers may have this.
Got it from for $1199 (RRP $1600+).
Looks good.

Pleased with this dishwasher
Our Smeg Dishwasher seems to be working well. Have had it since July. This model is stainless steel with digital display buttons on the front panel. There a many programs to choose from including Rapid 27 mins, Eco, Delicate, Ultra Clean, Strong & Fast which has a washing duration of 55 mins. Dishes come out clean. There are removable inner parts in this dishwasher, so if you want to remove the upper cutlery drawer, you can do so. A versatile dishwasher which seems to do the job.

you need to level dishwasher so the door lines up with the body by using the legs by unscrewing up and until you have squared the washer up and the lights will go to normal .push power switch and then select cycle hold start/pause button.
Turns out if was a fault with the closing mechanism. The latch had broken. SMEG technician came and fixed.

Hi,
I have a DWAU6315X that seems to need a reset. All dashboard lights are on and remain on, including the 'lock key' and the 1h timer - all buttons are unresponsive. It doesn't commence a wash. I have left the unit disconnected (plug out) for an extended period and upon reconnection I am faced with the same lights. Can you please provide direction on this (+ the reset procedure)?
Thanks
Liam

The lock on the door maybe broken and needs to be replaced... I had the same problem... on mine the was a red light on the quick set button (reducing the time of the wash)... if so this is what happened to me... service man replaced the lock and it was all good again.. I have had this dishwasher for a few months now and I have had two problems already... under warranty and they acted quickly but a bit of a pain on a new product that is supposed to be great. Hope this helps.... your reset procedure is correct as far as I can see but I don't think it is the reset.

My 4 month old machine of above model number has stopped working. Following it's last cycle, it shows --- on the display but won't take any input from the program buttons, just stays at ---
Then it switches itself off automatically after a few minutes, so I guess the timer circuit is still working, but just not taking any inputs from the cycle buttons.
Is there some way I can reset the processor?
Thanks
