Nice home theatre addition
This model TV is power efficient, Bluetooth, USB hard drive, Wi-Fi internet compatible; it's every home owner's dream come true! The resolution is absolutely stunning and the built-in speakers highly crisp clear. Never actually like the curve screen counterparts as I experience dizziness and won't be able to enjoy visual entertainment.

Stay away from this TV
In general the TV fail by quality of picture, connection, streaming or app connection, Usb connection
The quality of picture on screen is always dim. I try to convince myselft that the TV is actualy not bad. But it fail me everytime.
Second- there is no app on smart phone which you can controle your TV. Ofcourse some one can argue that there is a remote control. Yea there is but not enough. Why because we are buying smart tv not a digital tv. We should expect some thing more like an app which u can use to tupe text and send to tv, an app ...Read more
which you can not only turn off but also turn on the tv, an app wich you can share your picture on your smart phone to TV. And sony failed me but my TV panasonic did. Thirdly YouTube streaming from phone to TV. Can never get it work And I hate using the remote control to serch from video I want to see. Lastly, the subtitle - if you have usb connect to sony and watching movies. If younlike an substitle sony fail in doing that. Nomatte how I try. Stay away from Sony. They are so behind when talking about smart TVSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Bugs get in and under the screen
Not happy Jan! A spider or bug crawled under the screen and died. Now have a black mark on the screen and SONY say it’s insect infestation and not covered under warranty. Sony offered me a replacement tv at close to cost price. Why would i buy another of their products and have the possibility of this happening again? Won’t buy a Sony again EVER

Great TV
Picture is good, sound is OK, I like its minimal lines. ample HDMI ports, Youtube is a very good feature.
Paid $1200 on sale from JbHiFi. Looking for a Sony hard disk recorder but can't find one to match, I guess everyone just streams now. I like SONY products. This is no exception.

Great value!!
The picture quality is awesome! Couldn't be happier with this television. The speakers are average though, so I would suggest buying a sound bar for it at the same time. The operating system is awesome, it's the first smart TV I've owned and I found it so easy to set up!

Really good for the price.
I've recently bought this TV when The Good Guys did a clearance for just under $1k. Couldn't be more pleased with what I got. It integrates seamlessly with a PS4 and upscales 1080 pretty well. Used a wired connection instead of WiFi so Netflix and YouTube doesn't buffer. Surprised that you can cast YouTube videos from your android phone straight to it, but won't do for other apps such as Optus Sport.
The only major downside is that it is not an Android TV, I was budget conscious when I made this purchase so decide to not spend the extra $300...Read more
for the next model up the X8000e(?), but either way, I have everything else I need that hooked up and there was a Plex app accessible via Opera. It does take some time to find the perfect setting. Day 3 of owning it and I think I've finally found something I'm happy with.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

great tv
Great tv, high definition works well. Looks good, sits flush against the wall. Excellent interface with netflix, stan and even some of the lesser known apps such as nba tv. Got in on special at bing lee which included free delivery and wall mount. Only regret is not going the 65 incher!

Watch out for the dead pixels!
I bought this TV expecting the best quality to be hugely disappointed that right after unboxing I find not just 1 dead pixel but 8. Sony then replaced it 4 times with even worse screens until the retailer unboxes 3 and all had guess what dead pixels! So I chose the one that has 2 top corner. Not very happy at songs quality now!

Not so smart tv
The picture quality is excellent, although keep in mind to watch Ultra HD you have to have Netflix (and the 4k option), as you don't get it on free to air.
The problem is that you cannot add apps, only use the supplied ones, that means no Foxtel Now, no Spotify no Amazon music. The only browser is opera which does not work with foxtel now either.
On the sony website when you look at the page for this model tv there is a link for How to videos which takes you to a page with information, including how to add apps, nowhere does it say that this...Read more

Good TV but why the software downgrade?
Bought this as a replacement for our previous 3 year old Bravia which was unfortunately damaged by a wayward swing of the vac. Good picture and good audio no issues there at all. Have a laptop plugged into it and HDMI and USB work fine. Our previous Bravia (46") had an iManual function which was on the television software itself and this has been removed. Why? I've no idea but had to search online for the manual which is available to print but not to download. We wanted to edit the Program Guide which took close to an hour to figure out and com...Read more
plete which is patently ridiculous as is not being able to download the iManual. Good television but the software is a big step backwards and we expected more from a close to thousand dollar television given the higher standard in what was our previous older Bravia. 4 Stars for the picture and audio 11/2 Stars for the software downgrade. Sony need to lift their game on the software side of Smart TV.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Nice TV
We bought it on the Boxing Day sale from Bing Lee. It was a good deal. User-friendly smart TV however sometimes it has issues with YouTube video casting and has to factory reset to make it work. Other than that it’s good. Nice picture quality and clear screen. Overall a good purchase

Terrible terrible terrible!!
Worst TV ever! I bought two of them in December and they have both been shocking. First one, when there was an upgrade the Smart part of the TV didn’t work via WiFi or even USB, which was the second option, so I had to take it an hour into town to get a whole new system installed with the recommendation to not upgrade via WiFi, and now the second one has done the same thing. So angry right now. And Sony hasn’t replied to my complaint online. Last Sony I ever buy.

Fantastic TV!
We bought this TV just before Christmas and we don't have any complaints. Crystal clear screen, great sound & very easy to set up and operate. I love that apps are already installed and ready to use, including quick buttons on the remote. Couldn't believe how great the picture quality was for the price of the television, great value for money.
