Stegbar NSW, Chatswood

Stegbar chatswood team (Rob) assisted us in solving our old sliders. He is a real Gem took time to recommend the right product and followed up throughout the process. I highly recommend Stegbar.

Stegbar left us with doors that did not lock and let in air for 8 weeks while the NSW bushfires were at their worst. This compromised our security as well as our health, including that of a 10 month old baby. I had to constantly chase for updates, there was zero proactive communication. I wish we'd done more research and used a different company as the final product is very heavy and hard to slide, and the fact the customer service was non-existent.

I bought some Stegbar cedar sliding doors for my shed 2nd hand and the rollers need replacement. I called Chatswood store and the staff was very helpful and identified the parts quickly. Paid and picked up the first pair, spent less than 5 mins in the store. I then went in to buy 2nd pair for another door, my experience was also the most pleasant and wasted no time at all. The doors are very solid and I have no doubt they will serve the purpose for the years to come. All in all, extremely positive experience from very professional staff for customer service. Very happy to write this review and support a professional team of staff.

I wish to heartily thank Tim of Stegbar CHATSWOOD Store in helping me out. I was looking for a hard to find Window Lock, so Tim there, made me one up from parts he had (gratis). Tim was helpful from start to finish. I remain a very grateful local customer indeed! Tim Thank you !

To start it took almost 2 weeks, and that was after a couple of calls, to get a quote.
Lead time stretched from 3 weeks to 5.
Delivered windows looked to have been roughly treated in factory or during delivery, dents in timber reveals, scuff marks almost like boot prints on timber reveals.
No keys with windows, were suppose to be express posted to me, a week later still no keys rang again, a mix up at warehouse,on their way.
Flyscreen clips sent with windows no instruction how to fit, a couple of calls later receive installation guide for different clips. Rang actual manufacturer of clips in S.A. and told they are wrong clips. Got right clips myself.
Overall not great customer service, windows are OK would not reccomend Stegbar.

We had Stegbar install doors and windows today.

One of the windows arrived late, so the installer sent a team of five to complete the job in one day.

The team were punctual, polite and professional, and the work was beautifully executed.

We’d use Stegbar and this installer again.

I visited the store today seeking advice on how to obtain and fit parts a 20 year old Stegbar window. Tim could not have been more patient and helpful from the moment I walked in until I had finally run out of questions.

We use Stegbar Chatswood for all of our window and door needs, our rep Dalton is fantastic to deal with and is always happy to assist with anything that we require going above and beyond.

I visited Chatswood as referred by my builder and was extremely happy and pleased with the service I received from the young man -Doulton who served me. He was patience, respectful, helpful and very knowledgeable. Meeting with has now made our decisions so much easier.

I am currently building our house. I have dealt with a number of window companies. By chance I was passing by the Stegbar showroom at Chatswood and dropped in to have a look. I was looked after by Jane-Frances. She was very friendly and helpful from the outset, it was evident she has a lot of experience in the industry. She gave great recommendations and followed up with a completed quote 2 days later. I would highly recommend a visit, all the staff have been obliging and I am now being looked after by their wardrobe and shower screen sale people from the same shop who are as equally obliging and know their products. I had the pleasure of dealing with Tim from the Chatswood department. He was outstanding. Easy to talk to and full of information. Being a Builder of 20 years, I have had some unpleasant dealings with some other window manufactures but working with Tim has been a breeze.

Jane Who, 2 weeks no call she must be busy......

I contacted Stegbar Chatswood who told me Jane will be in touch with me, my information details were passed through to her, I waited a week no call return call back, Tim wanted to sort me out with what I needed but I wanted to give Jane the chance to sort my project as she was the one that was to help me cause my info was passed to her through the internal system.
Again another week no call from Jane,
