Stihl FS 94 C-E
I bought this FS94 to replace a Stihl FS50 and am absolutely delighted with it - fantastic lightweight (but powerful) whipper snipper.
I have learned the hard (expensive) way that the machines with a bent shaft are USELESS, and the FS50 felt like a DIY machine which would never really handle anything other than gentle work. I did not like it one bit, hence trading up for the FS94. Whilst the same size engine, the FS94 is a different animal and feels like a proper, heavy duty machine which is what I expect from Stihl.

Read more really interesting, I thought it would be useless and a bit of a gimmick - how wrong I was. It's brilliant for when you are strimming round things like trees, fence posts, railings etc. as it means you can keep your foot down, but the machine remains at a constant speed below full throttle. The advantage of this is that if you set the speed right, the line doesn't snag round everything, doesn't rip into trees/fence posts, doesn't get destroyed as quickly BUT still slashes through all the grass. Really clever idea. Big fan of this machine from Stihl.Purchased in September 2020.

Powerful enough to tackle any thing and kinda quiet. Easy to start and love the speed feed head on it. Had a FS 55 but was just not powerful enough for our landscaping business, but this is perfection! Also like the ECO-speed controller don’t use it often but when I do it comes in handy. Smashed the head into a rock fairly hard and must have bent the shaft and now vibrates.
Over all though Great tool!

Great trimmer, well balanced when wearing support strap, easy start with petrol primer, easy tap down self loading line extender makes getting extra line easy and time efficient, has many after market blades and attachments for hardcore brush cutting

Purchased this to replace very tired fs45 which has had its fair share of use and abuse over the years. This is a big step up from the 45. I got the model with the bike handle bars and harness. Makes life so much easier and much quicker for clearing large areas. Has plenty of power and goes through anything you throw at it.
The guy at the local dealer was very helpful and even offered me a 4 year warranty at the expense of some of Sthil's high quality two stroke oil. I gladly accepted this as you need the two stoke oil to run the machine an...
Read mored if it gives you two more years on the warranty thats a bonus. Love to machine so far, am yet to try out the brush cutting blade i purchased with it but as seen with other people with this model it will do it with no stress as. Worth the money, especially with Sthil's reputation for high quality products and customer service.

I love this machine, it's well made, it lights weight, economical to run but powerful and you can attach a Stihl articulated hedge trimmer to it. An all round well thought out unit.
