Love this Reversagrill!!
I purchased my grill back in 2012/2013..or there about. I sit it on my stove and it stays there because I know I’ll be using it .This grill is superb ! I’ve practically worn the flat side out lol!
I love this grill I’ve used it for sooo many dishes ...it makes perfect pancakes!... Kebabs...steak...chops..any meats ..great for browning a roast ...eggs ..potato chips..toasted sandwiches..chicken breasts..You name it and I’ve probably cooked it on this grill..or had a go..I’ve even used it for some frozen foods rather than turn the oven on ..It ...Read more
works perfectly for that. I don’t find the cleaning of it hard at all.. I just pour hot water over the top of the plate while still warm it loosens any stuck food a little detergent and then rinse it off under the hot tap. The tray under it just needs a rinse under hot water, wipe over the spatter on the base it’s done! All of a few mins. I absolutely recommend this grill. It’s large enough for a family and or single person it cooks fast and evenly and it doesn’t use a lot of power ...The temperature is almost instant heat and doesn’t take long to cool down if needed to .. But like the other lady here sadly I will soon have to retire mine as well ...However there is absolutely nothing wrong with the base I would just like to purchase a new plate for it...mines a little worse for wear 6..7 years lol. Thanks Sunbeam ..loved it It’s perfect! Please don’t discontinue them..

After a few YEARS of abuse... It's died. =(
The grill is hard to clean, but I have made hundreds of pancakes, eggs, omelets, hamburgers, bacon, sausages, and much more on this. I moved into a rental with an awful cook top so I used this instead for the past 4 years. It's seen so much use and has done brilliantly, but I had to retire it this evening. Honestly I'll probably buy it again. We got it for cheap during a store closing sale as it was the display model.
Purchased in November 2021 at Bing Lee for $200.00.

Fantastic, versatile grill plate
Enjoyable and easy to use grill plate. Use this regularly, generally easy to clean considering its size but the fat splatters down into where the handles join which is near on impossible to clean completely, but saying that far easier than cleaning a BBQ. cooking guide in booklet is virtually spot on in their recommended cooking times for a medium rare steak. plenty of room for 4 forequarter chops at the same time. Very versatile. Have used it for grilled vegetables, garlic mushrooms, Grilled meat, seasoned chicken pieces, eggs, bacon, pikelets, grilled garlic bread, grilling halloumi etc. I have previously bought other grills, this outshines them all in regards to versatility and usabilitySimilar opinion? Gets used every single day
I read the other reviews and maybe i'm so used to washing this grill I do it with my eyes closed.I have 5 kids,2 have moved out since I bought this.so 5 at home still.All 3 are heavy into sport so for breakfast I cook them bacon and eggs 4 days a week and pancakes the other 3 all on the flat side.Let me tell you pancakes are like the pros on this thing.In the evening if i'm not cooking chicken on the grill side I cook massive rump steaks,can flip it over and do mushrooms, onion and tomatos.Seriously,when I visited my 2 eldest who live across th...Read more
e road from each other,I take this grill with me as I do the chicken while they do the bbq.Try using Tandaco Salt n Pepper Seasoning or Tandaco Souther Fried Seasoning to coat the chicken and cook it on the flat side.The chicked disapears before the steaks and sausages. Finally,my 2 eldest commented on how good the fry fan is, now I can get them 1 each for Christmas,anything else I get them goes into storage so i'm even happier.Seriously,I LOVES this grill and am getting another for myself because you can bet there will be nothing like it to replace it once it's gone.The non stick surface on the flat side is a bit faded but at least it deosn't peel.The scraper is tough plastic designed to get anything stick in the grooves on the grill side,very handy.Washing up is a sinch,hot water,soft cloth and bang it's done..Similar opinion? My sumbeam reversagrill grill was fine for a while.... Then thermostat control started playing up.. And now it's. Just a piece of frustration junk!!

Fast and easy
Finding this to be a really good product after 3 months use. Non-stick surface is excellent for weekend breakfast fry-ups or pancakes. The reverse side (grill) is good for steak, if you get the heat up really high. It heats up really quickly and is quite easy to clean if you're just wiping it down. Washing up in the sink though is a little more difficult as there are no drainage holes in the handles, which can fill with water.

This is excellent. Easy to use and clean.
Recently purchased, and decided on sunbeam as we have other Sunbeam products. We are very impressed with this grill. Remember to use a plastic spatula with it, to avoid scratching it. Easy to clean. Cook, wipe off with kitchen towell or wet chux etc. cooks eggs, meat, etc beautifully.Dual sided but we cook mainly on the flat side.
value for money. Easy to use and clean.

I am sad to say my Reversa Grill which is barely 6 months old but has been absolutely fabulous up until tonight when it fused when I turned the power on...a big pop which blow the circuit breaker. My Reversa was a replacement for another Sunbeam item (a toaster) which also failed early last November but as I had purchased another item of the same type, Sunbeam allowed me to pick something else of similar value so I can't complain about their service, it was excellent. I'm not sure where I stand on a replacement item... Just sad to lose such a great grill. I don't understand why it fused. I too hand wash only and keep the plug inlet well away from water. It is so easy to clean food off with a paper towel then just lightly wash. Anyway, had to pull out my 30+ year old Sunbeam frypan to cook with. Laurelle

How is the temperature regulated on this device? Does it cycle on and off or does it have a steady consistent heat?

It's much like an electric frypan and cycles on and off. A little tricky to keep it at the right temperature.
Im sorry its has been quite a while since I used this, as I had to come off meat for health reasons. I suggest you call Sunbeam or pop into bing Lee where we bought ours. It was always very good when I did use it, we went through 2 units, we used it that much
