Love this car
I bought this cafe from my sister and I just love it. Ver small car use to get from a to b. Incredibly economical on fuel. Cost about 35-45$ to fill up on fuel. The only downside to this car for me is the small almost non-existent rear boot size.

Ten out of ten.
Driving experience is amazing. No noice, and I have never had any problems with it at all.
I love the interior.m: apart from the nonleather seats. However, you get what you pay for. The interior is classy, simple but really effective.
The reliability is amazing - I’ve never had any issues with it. And the running costs are awesome for a uni student - about $50 for ten days. Services are priced well too.

Very zippy!
The Suzuki Swift Sport is one of the best looking and perfoming hatches out there today. It drives and handles well with great fuel economy. It comes loaded with all the options. It has a very sporty interior and exterior and has 17" alloys.Luggage compartment is limited but this is a hatch, not a family car.

A great all round little car
Lovely to drive, reliable, low in cost to run, and easy to park. I receive a lot of compliments because mine is bright yellow. It is a bit of a challenge when you carry passengers as there is not a lot of legroom in the back for tall people, however there is a decent amount of headroom. If you are looking for something with a cavernous boot then the swift is not for you, however the back seats do fold down. Mine came with sat nav, bluetooth, keyless entry and drive, cruise control, and voice control etc. A fun little car with all the bells and whistles.

Good car
I find it is a good car but misses out on a few things that would make it even better. Such as, Bluetooth, Aux point, cruise control etc.
It is cheap on fuel to run. But doesn't take off as quick as i would like. Tends to need a good acceleration to even take off

Best car, love my Swift
Got my Swift GLX Navigator in 2015, have had zero problems with it. My swift is zippy in traffic, I can keep up easily on freeways. It has good acceleration for a small car. So easy to park. Love the Nav system, although it is hard to upgrade to newer versions. Fuel economy is fantastic, I fill up once a week and drive to and from work everyday up and down steep, winding roads.

Excellent small car and great fuel economy
Great package offered from the dealer, good warranty, fixed price servicing offering no surprises for a period of five years, extended warranty offered with the service package for extra peace of mind.
The car is very reliable handles on road very well, good fuel economy around city driving, struggling for power on the freeway, no such problems in the suburbia.

2013 Suzuki Swift - Great
Purchased new in November 2013 as I no longer needed a large car. I have never been disappointed with this car and would not hesitate to recommend. So much so, that I have considered replacing this car with the newest model, however that is a hard ask as I have a love of this car Reliability has never been in question. The car drives extremely well and now that I have a decent set of tyres (Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin AD003) the handling is exceptional. The car is covered by capped price servicing for 5 years so I know how much it is going to cost for each 6 month service. Running on standard unleaded fuel consumption averages around 6 litres per 100klm, so very happy.

It does the job - barely
Bought it brand new few months ago.
Pros:
economy, reliable
steering is great
Cons:
Suspension is bouncey.. driveways are an effort, speedbumps again need to be very very careful to not scrape.
seats are uncomfortable, front armrests are like a rock.. terrible for longer than a short drive to work
auto is almost always in wrong gear
airconditioning is forever clicking on and off when on the lowest setting

I love my little car
Purchased my white auto swift a few weeks ago from a Suzuki dealer as a demo model & I am in love! Being a demo it was a great price for a brand new car. It drives so effortlessly and is really quiet. I was driving a Honda CR-V before I purchased my swift, and I now enjoy driving so much and don't have to worry about petrol - used 1/4 of a tank in a week ($40 to fill tank), while driving the CR-V I would go through a full tank in a week ($60 to fill tank). I was worried about how it would cope going up the hills and on the freeway but it performs even better than my old CR-V - zippy with a lot of guts. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Great little car
We bought the Swift Sport, what a great little car, so responsive, very comfortable and easy to get around especially in the city, although it doesn't have some of the flash items that others have such as reverse camera, it is small enough and has good vision that it's not needed. running costs are very low, it runs on an oily rag.

Pocket rocket
Hello from Malaysia! Been driving a yellow Swift Sport with a manual transmission for a year. Here's my take.
Pros:
1. Think Ford Focus Trend with beefier steering and a higher redline. The performance and handling is a given, as long as you keep the engine revving above 3000rpm if you wanna drive spiritedly.
2. You get 500km of suburban driving from a full tank of RON 98 irrespective of your driving style. That's an average of 7.5l/100km. And my car gets 25 km more on RON 95.
3. As a Japanese car which shares many common parts with t...Read more

Excellent Car. Swift GL Nigator
This car is very enjoyable to drive, great fuel economy, looks great. Great value with gps, voice recognition, ipod connectivity cd player, reverse camera and radio. Haven't had any issues apart from faulty airbag which was fixed under warranty. Handles and goes well, engine is on the quiet side but sounds great at high revs. It is a Japanese car which is actually made in Japan unlike mazda 2 which is mad in thailand and i20 made in india. Toyota yaris is made in japan but looks ugly and not as interesting as the swift

Love the Car very very disappointed with updating the Garmin Maps
I need to be able to have updated Garmin maps... impossible. I have asked my dealer at Chullora and they tell me they cannot update the maps I am more than happy to pay to have this done... very frustrating. Surely the dealership should be able to do this for their customers.

After 10 months of driving My June made 2015 SWIFT GLX Navigator.. and 20,000klm service. It's still
I had a 2008 Suzuki Swift and it came with a space saver spare [which is VERY common these days] but no tyre repair kit which I believe can be dangerous and unusable for many people. Most small cars these days all use rack and pinion steering which results in a large turning circle, it's the same with many medium and large sized cars too as it's the preferred steering over steering boxes that were used years ago. I just love the driving experience of the Swift, and the new model is even better plus it's a slightly larger car too. Economy is jus...Read more
t amazing, with the average Litres per 100 klms or the REAL Litres per 100 klms which can be from 2.9l per 100 klms or even 4.5l per 100 klms on flat roads at 95 KPH or much worse if you have a heavy foot lol. I have never ever had any gear hunting in the auto swifts but it does depend on how you operate the accelerator. I believe a Japanese made car is better made with quality components than a car made in Malaysia or Thailand or Korea or South Africa or even USA or Europe. The Swifts are much quieter noise wise than many other cars and the road holding, etc. is excellent. I have been told that the seats are much more comfortable than many other cars, by people who own other makes of car. Reliability of the swift is legendary and the running costs are quite excellent. It could do with a few more inches of rear legroom, so you wouldn't have to remember to move the front seats forward for rear seat passengers, unless you already have short legs in the front!! Once the front seats are moved slightly forward for the rear seat passengers it's ok but a few more inches of legroom would be great. The GLX Navigator has an adjustable steering column - up and down plus in and out. It has keyless entry and push button start and stop along with cruise control, which does save you fuel. The 8 inch screen has many features GPS - true Speed - Maps -where are you going or want to go, etc. hands free phone - what music is playing, etc. and can even read out the SMS messages from your phone and naturally you can plug in your ipod for all your music or even use WiFi, etc. The Swift still has a CD player if you still buy CDs.. lol. The ride is excellent on the 16 inch alloy wheels with 4 wheel disc brakes on the GLX and sport. Although I found no problems with drums on the rear of other swifts. On All Swifts - the drivers seat can be adjusted UPWARDS for small drivers. The rear seat is a 60/40 so you can lower either side down or both if you wish to carry larger items. Now when you lift the rear door up, the boot you see [which cannot be seen thru the rear window because of the shelf which moves up and down with the door] there is another boot under the floor. It's about 100-120mms high and is great for carrying all the items you like to carry all the time lol. The spare tyre and tool kit is under another bottom floor. The current model Swift also comes with ISOFIT brackets for European baby and child seats. These car seats just clip in. An excellent invention. The Headlamps on the Swifts I have found to be EXCELLENT so no extra lamps needed even in the country. It also has a full stainless steel exhaust system. The new Swifts are higher than the earlier model, so they don't bottom out on driveways, etc. --- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ---- and regardless of what motoring writers are still saying - these are ALL made in Japan. Bugbuyer Lee March 9th 2017 Update: 40,000 klm Service and still going Great. Excellent Japanese made quality car. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED After 40,000 service at 39,000klms We have No rattles or any other problems. All tyres still have 4.5mm of tread. Japanese quality at its best in a small car. I have found that using 95 or 98 octane really makes a difference going up steep hills on highways at 100-111 kph more so when fully loaded with 4 adults and luggage. The higher octane which results in more power or torque to handle the hills with a load. I don't think the 94 or 95 with extra ethanol makes any difference. The independant fuel companies are adding extra ethanol to E10 to obtain 94 or 95 octane rating. Although the numbers look good, maybe they don't to the computer??? Around town etc E10 goes with out any dramas... and you can overtake where ever You want to. The GLX has the Hill Stop option which lets you stop at an intersection etc whilst going Uphill without using the brake. The swift is very easy to drive in traffic or on the highway. The headlights are really bright on Low or high beam plus they are the common Halogen headlamp bulbs [or Xenon] which can be bought anywhere and are easy to fit, unlike the HID bulbs which are expensive and can be difficult to fit. The air conditioner works great even on 40C degree days We have in the country. We always have our windows tinted on all cars over the years. The tinting film makes driving in the HOT 40c sun much easier plus if a tinted window is broken or shattered the tinting film can hold it together. The 40,000klm service was capped so You know when you buy the car You know the cost of servicing. RECOMMENDED SUZUKI SWIFT - JAPANESE QUALITY BUGBUYERSimilar opinion? Hi all, a few things regarding the 2012 suzuki swift 5 door automatic hatchback. In the last year or so when starting my car it idles which is understandable however when in reverse and reversing back my car seems to stall/misfire this also happens when i put it in drive and go to take off i notice the car is delayed in acceleration any idea as to what this could be???, this also happens when ive been driving and i stop at a set of lights or exiting a shopping centre i put my foot on the excelerator however the car dosent move straight away its like it takes 5-10 seconds to process could this be a problem with the battery, spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel filter, air filter??? its really got me curious, can someone please tell me what you might think it is. Ive taken it to the mechanics and explained the misfire and stalling however they’ve come back to me with thousands of dollars worth of problems and no reason at all as to why theres a misfire, stalling, sluggishness ect.
Thanks in advance
