Very disappointed
Sad to say I didn't get much use out of my Air fryer. Six months use and it blew up literally. I put some bacon on the rack, shut the lid, did the menu thing and Start. There was this almighty BANG!!!! Blue flames shot everywhere I lifted the lid and there was shards of glass all over the bacon. Thank goodness the lid was down. I have used this machine a lot found it okay, looked after it etc. But it has been playing up lately eg light didn't go anymore, had to wriggle the lid to make it start. No, I wouldn't have another one. For the price it's bad news. Cant do guarantee as it was a present. And they cant find it. Overseas purchase. Joan

Not a good buy
I used it once and now it just beeps rather then starts. Unlike every other kitchen appliance it has no trouble shooter section in the instructions and no back up support. A bad buy and regret it It seems a case of just interested in the sale rather then the customer needs.

Expensive and Over rated
It cooks well but -
1) You cannot fit a LARGE chicken into the Rotisserie, as they advertise, but only a small one. The large chicken gets stuck every time it tries to turn.
2) The enamel inside the Pan comes off very easily. I complained about it and they sent me a new one, and the enamel on that one is coming off as well.
3) The names on the buttons on top of the Fryer are rubbing off with constant use, so now I can hardly see them anymore. I just have to guess which button does what.
4) They advertise it as "easy cleaning" by ju...Read more

The TV Shop (False Advertising)
Recently rang The Tv Shop about their “Taste The Difference Air Fryer” as they had a deal I thought and was excited, “Buy now and get 1 free” so you get 2 in total which I wanted the other as a gift for my mum. I already knew the price as my stepsister had one and it was 400$ and in the mall “The Tv Shop” today is selling for $400 and so I thought what a bargain, turns out wasn’t a bargain because the salesman said it was nearly 600$ when I rang. He also said “The TV Shop” in the malls do not let you pay it off and that is untrue because I ask...Read more
ed the mall “Tv Shop” and they do let you pay things off and so my question is “is this what they say also to get people to buy their products over the phone”?. The salesman said they put the single air fryer cost up after talking with his manager and they did have a reason, (can’t quite remember what it was). Do not understand because “The Tv Shop” in mall is selling for $400 still so why is the “0800 Tv Shop” selling for $200 extra, to me I feel is a scam as they did this also with their pillows, ‘buy 1 get 2 free’, and no way were they free as I had bought 1 before and knew the price. I am not fooled by their sales pitches anymore and will not be purchasing anything from them again. Shame really as they have great products. I know I can be patient and go to other stores and get “Tv Shops” new used same items they sell for half the price. I believe in honesty and not greed and this world is becoming all that. Love honest retailers and loave the dishonest ones.1 comment

Two for one? Not quite.
Well, I cant vouch for the quality of the TTD roaster, but must say, I am a bit cheesed off at the sales method. Advertising a "2 for the price of 1" deal, I responded and phoned in. Having seen these things advertised at $399, I was surprised to discover, after having to squeeze the information out of the tele sales lady, who was hell bent on peppering me with her pre-written screed, that the price was around $570. Add to that, the claim that these items are not available in stores, I notice JB HiFi advertise them at $349. The old "impulse buy" method must be working for these people. Two for the price of one....pigs rear end!

An item is only as good as it's warranty and service.
When one buys anything new there is a reasonable expectation of trust in the seller. A company who walks away from a $399 or so, air roaster saying that it is out of warranty - a matter of days only, is also walking away from their reasonable moral responsibilities.
The company must sell hundreds or thousands of these products. It does not take much organisation to stock 10 or so of all the component parts to an "Taste the Difference" air roaster, it does not take much space to store them. It does not take much cost to keep them, as...Read more

Buyer beware
Using the air roaster I was extremely satisfied with the taste on roasted chickens, vegetables, baking and cooked stead, 3 weeks out of warranty the air roster heating element at top stopped working, contacted distributor who advised sorry out of warranty see an electrician, not very helpful, phoned the distribution customer service to see who we can get to repair or spare parts, was advised that they only replace under warranty and an electrician may have spare parts from ones they have pulled apart, for a $400 product you would expect longer useage but to not be able to purchase spare parts and nowhere to take to fix - DONT BUY this product unless you are guarantee spare parts of someone who can fix it.

Amazing, so good
I didn't believe all the hype on spree tv but had a look at some reviews and decided to bite the nearly $400 bullet and buy one. It does everything they promised, beautifully cooked steak, pork chops lamb chops. If you roast a whole chicken make sure the skewer is centered perfectly or it hits the sides..Easy to clean and it now lives on the bench where it can be used all the time

Cooks well, shame about the quality of surface coatin
Happy with the way air roaster cooks, but noticed base coating or paint bubbling up & peeling off in sections due to hot oil dripping on base. Phoned Brand developers about a month before warranty ran out & was told someone would phone me back. Over a week later with no reply I sent an email explaining the problem & was asked to send photos. A couple of weeks later I was phoned & told the problem was caused because of burnt oil on bottom of base not cleaned off properly. It's not a wipe clean surface & very hard to clean without more paint comi...Read more
ng off. My concern is toxic chemicals coming in contact with food. Could this be cancer causing ?Was then told my air roaster was out of warranty. I replied that when I first phoned it was still in warranty. Then told only motor covered my warranty, not accessories. I was then told they could send me another for $25 but the base was on back order. No thanks. Poor quality coating for such an expensive item. Not good service Brand Developers TV shop especially when I notice other reviews complaining about thin teflon coatingSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Absolutely Love My Air Roaster!
My roaster is still new so I've not used every function yet but I've had a similar unit not long ago so I know what to expect. This unit takes up some bench space but it's completely worth it. Love roasting nuts in this unit & roasting everything on the spit provided. Chickens are awesome & cook quicker than usual ovens

How did I ever live without it?
I actually received my TTD Air fryer as a bonus gift with my Powerfit (which I love also). This appliance is remarkable. Everything I have cooked has turned out successfully, and everything browns beautifully. Chips are just as the advert says. Frozen are great. The appliance emits a chemical smell for a while, but it disappears after 3 or 4 weeks. The smell didn't transfer to the food. I am so happy, and keep it permanently on my bench. I use it every day. All meats turn out juicy and tender, while the fat drains away. Amazing!

The salesman is telling the truth!
I purchased my TTD Airfryer about a year ago for the same reason as the previous reviewer. Loved my Phillips Airfryer but needed a bigger one. My son snapped up the Phillips and loved it. I have to admit the commercials annoy me and it takes a lot for me to purchase as I don't believe all the hype....BUT..... this one IS and DOES everything you see on TV! It does need to stay on the bench as it has a reasonable size footprint but it gets used all the time so no problem there. I was surprised to find the rotisserie really works that well too!

As Seen On TV - But is it any good? - Short answer Yes. Long answer - Definitely
I will be submitting a full review after this coming weekend (21/4/2017) I purchased this to replace my existing Philips Air Fryer which I have used daily since purchase (and love it). My only reasoning was BIGGER is potentially better. I will be testing all the features and cooking a heap of food over the next few days. Stay tuned...FULL REVIEW wc 24 April 2017.
