Hi to All
Have spent over $500 on Endure low sheen to paint internal walls. Some walls 5 mtrs. high. Web site low sheen for internal walls also on back of can.Have painted on and off all my life.Prepped all walls, even lite sand betwwen coats. Was covering similar colour. Finished job looks like a three year old painted it. Shows every mark and every roller mark. Also where you cut in it stands out like you no what. I would only give this paint one star. The reason for one star is because there is paint in the tin.
Regards
Not a happy chap

Used this paint for a bedroom and the sour smell the paint has produced is unbearable. I will have too seal the walls and re-paint the whole room. The smell is very bad. But the smell was not the paint, but re-action too washing the walls with mould killer

Taubmans Endure is watery, drippy and needed two to three coats, Taubmans easy coat is much better does not drip all over the F#%%$#@ place and covers with only one coat, plus is 10-20 dollars cheaper. The salesman at Bunnings in Cairns saw me coming hook, line and sinker, said something about a molecular nano technology. bottom line buy the most expensive, apply thin watery coverage, = more coats = more dollars, ya ok I get it now.
In the process of paining our house in Endure in Aspen Snow. Have used 2 x 15L tins and 1 x 10L without problem. Go into Bunnings provide them the code and away I go. However the range has now changed and Bunnings cannot match the colour. Multiple 10L attempts and test tins and a match could not be made. Code should be 1Y16N LF-X OY 10N. This was way to light and not even a close match. Used multiple tint machines only to get the same result. Staff attempted to match using scan but that also failed. They ended up providing 1Y 16N+34+10 LF-X IT 10N +2.5 as a match for Aspen Snow it's close but not a match. What's changed and why can't a colour in your range be matched using your paint? This tin is useless and ill be returning it

We are renovating our house and have spent this weekend painting our stairwell and upstairs walls. We have previously used Wash and Wear and were happy with ease of application and finish, but chose Endure because of the heavy traffic area we were painting. Very disappointed! It is supposed to be low sheen but is shiny and shows all imperfections and roller marks. Some areas also manage to look chalky! Coverage is disappointing as well - we used more than expected. Very unhappy with a supposedly premium product.

I used this in "White" on walls and also "Black Fox"
Im loving it because it went on nicely and coverage was great. I probably could have gotten away with 1 coat of Black Fox over the existing cream wall. Also this is in an office environment and we use Nifti or Windex or whatever else is at hand to clean finger marks and chair scrapes etc. Comes up perfect. Great paint, Love it! My house is next and ill definitely be using the Endure again.

Has extra good coverage, easy to stir while working, low odour (low VOC). Dries in about two hours for second coat and job finished in less then a day. Antibacterial and Asthma friendly makes excellent choice for little people in household. We did a few touchups latter on in a week and you can not see difference. Best paint ever.

Not happy with product at all. Have sort advice from taubmans that did not assist. We have tried adding an odor eliminator to the original paint and recoated. We have left for two months and smell is still there but not as bad. We are looking to recoat with dulux and give taubmans a miss, which is disappointing given we have been long term taubman users.
Following up from the original problem with the smell, it has reduced after two months. Advice from a professional painter was that the paint was off. Whilst we painted within weels of purchasing fro...
Read morem bunnings, it may have been on the shelf for ages. The professional painter provided some ceiling paint (not taubmans) to recoat the bathroom ceiling. This has been done and the smell is now completely gone. Now to get some new paint from a paint store (not bunnings) and recoat the loungeroom and kitchen walls.Every time I pick a colour from the Taubmans colour wall it never EVER matches! 3 times this has happened. I know that it will never truly match a colour chip but it's almost as if it is 1/2 strength (or less) of the colour you want.
Thin watery paint, doesn't match colour chips, premium cost - absolutely discourage anyone to waste their money on any Taubmans product.

Have used Crown paints in the UK and Dulux over here. Thought I would give Taubmans a go. What a mistake. Bought 6 Litre tub of white, low sheen Endure. The coverage is terrible. Had to put 3 coats on to cover an off white wall. Will never use it again, very watery paint.
The worst material.i am a professional painter and I did the mistake to use to my house.i did everything by the book.was easy to apply but it will not last
Colour has fade and its chalky.
Colour now is almost half strength. I tried to wash it but it won't look any better
Do not use it !!!
Big mistake was asking if Taubmans Endure would give the best result for low sheen on interior wall by an "expert" at Bunnings Kirrawee. They are there to flog this brand regardless of the quality and finish. I used a Taubmans undercoat and began. The coverage was poor from the start having to go over parts again to cover the undercoat when dry. I was told by the 'expert' use half strength for better finish and less glare. I purchased 45litres to complete a two story interior house. Plenty I thought however I needed plenty to cover walls that...
Read more needed two coats. How could anyone recommend this grade paint to anyone. A great deal of extra time spent on finishing the job. Maybe Shanna should use the product on her own home before flogging it . I wont be ever using Taubmans again and recommond Haymes Paint (Australian Owned)Find out how Taubmans Endure compares to other Paints & Varnishes

Easy to use, hides imperfections brilliantly, expensive but worth every cent. We painted a whole 3 bedroom house with it. House was old with lots of cracks that had to be fixed. You can't see any of them now. I will certainly use this paint again. Matt finish worked well. Also used the low sheen in the bathroom. Very good as well.

Paid for matt finish to paint one wall in a black room but it is low sheen. It has a definite shine under night lights and stands out. Very disappointed and won’t waste my money again, it’s just not worth it, buy premium top quality brands only. You will get better coverage and save money in the end.

I'm not a professional painter, but I found this paint to be excellent. I put the ceiling white on already white, and applied two coats to get a really good result. I have also used there paint on the walls with nano guard and also found the result really good. I did do preparation before I started and the colour I went over was a slightly darker but all round I thought the paint was great and I will use it again. I do have high standards so I think preparation is the key. Each bedroom took me about 3 to 4 days, but you cannot rush to achieve a good result.I also used an undercoat primer prior to painting if there were areas that had been patched or showed a dark patch once repaired
It's the worse paint I've ever used. Took 5 coats of endure to not even reach the level of pigmentation and coverage of 1 dulux wash and wear coat. For the price we paid I wanted better quality then what I could find at my local $2 shop, not impressed at all.
Bought the 10 litre ceiling white hoping to be able to get away with only having to do 1 coat as claimed. I have neck issues so this would have been really handy. Wrong! At least 2 coats required where the ceilings were already white and up to 5, yes 5 coats on some cornices that were painted dark-ish colours. I paid a premium price for a non-premium product. Very dissapointing.

A year ago we started to slowly paint our interior with Taubmans endure low sheen white paint.
We were pretty happy although cutting in seemed to never cover properly leave brush marks and perhsps it didnt have the coverage we expected needing to do several coats. Washes quite well.
I have recently purchased a new tin and went over some patching that had been undercoated. It seems the paint on the walls has turned cream over the 12 months as there is a huge difference in the touch up job. I now have to paint the entire wall as the paint has deteriorated. So disappointed and annoyed.
Won't buy Taubmans again.
I bought this paint going on recommendations of one of the lifestyle shows on TV and one of the “paint experts” at Bunnings. The job was to repaint timberwork on the front of our property. Preparation was carried out correctly rubbing back and applying primer undercoat where needed and temperature at the time around 26degrees Celsius. Paint used was low sheen. I found it very hard to apply without leaving brush marks plus when I stood back and inspected the job it looked very patchy. The paint was drying too quickly not the 30 minutes as stated on the can.
My advice is don’t waste your money.

Last year I painted the eves, went on smooth and spread out nicely with the roller, didn't drip at all. Still looks great, and have brought another can for the back eves and will be buying 4lt soon to be tinted brown for another outside job. Just wish it kept the rotten spiders from making their webs on it, then again, even the spiders tell me it's great.

Bunnings advised either Endure or Dulux as their premium paint. Dulux is a lot dearer and I now know why. I went with endure in beige royal and it requires a lot of feathering to not leave roller lines. It has a lustre that also highlights all plaster imperfections and is absolutely hopeless to clean scuff marks off. Also it is also poor in bathrooms with steam marks. The paint then goes a bit chalky where you wipe it; dirt and marks don't really come off; and any additional touch ups with a fresh roller don't blend in due to roller lines. The ...
Read moreonly good thing I found is a 15L tin went a long way. So 6 months on and I am fuming because I'm going to have to repaint which is far from ideal. I recently painted our cellar with dulux and it seems to be superior and went on without fuss and was a bit thicker. Have also used living silk which is up there with dulux.- 9 reviews

Everything about this paint is impressive. One good coat is enough. Therefore my 15L Taubmans Endure interior low sheen paint will now go twice as far. That's a huge saving in itself.
The idea of not doing a second coat is amazing. First time ever.
Two walls were canary yellow another white and another taupe. There is no difference to the finish colour.

Poor coverage paint. Dripped everywhere. But not only that it's worse than the paint I covered it with. Now all my walls in the wet areas like laundry and bathroom show steam residue seeping down the walls. Appalling!
I bought this paint based on lifestyle tv program that recommended it. Silly me.
I had several different substrates. Raw dry WR cedar, previously painted surface sanded and some areas of filler. Put a quality undercoat over them all. The Endure is thick will not brush out to anything like an even application and is prone to forming blisters. It cannot be easily sanded as it seems more like an elastomeric membrane than a paint and peels off. Absolutely awful. Did some parts several time. Never again. RM

Read more color swatch or book, which has not been updated to reflect the new outcomes of their color mixes based on the new base formula. Poor form Taubmans your a paint company that can't match you own colors and seem disinterested in helping anyone stuck in this situation caused by your choices but it is not noted anywhere. About to paint the exterior of our house and will be making sure my money goes to another paint company that can deliver on their promises.
