So we bought the Tefal Cook4Me Plus from Amazon (AU) when it was half the normal price and I am certainly glad I never paid full price. Overall its OK but when things go wrong the lack of ability to return to the point where things did go wrong and continue cooking is flawed design in my opinion.
Positives
The recipes when they work are quite nice.
It is so easy to clean.
Negatives
(very minor) The control uses a dial to select the option you want which is a bit of a pain when you want a recipe staring with say "m" or "n". Confirming that ...

I bought this because of all the good reviews, and have been extremely disappointed.
This unit is quite good when it works. However, since we have twice had to pour its contents into our trusty stove top pressure cooker to continue cooking, we can no longer trust it, so it sits in our cupboard unused. The problem is that, when it tries to get up to pressure, it displays error 24 and advises that more water is needed - which is absolute nonsense. Even waiting for it to cool down, and then adding water does not help.
My advise to anyone thinki...
Read moreng of buying this is to not waste your money, but to get a normal pressure cooker that will simply work without flashing stupid error messages. Don’t even try to get any help from Tefal, because they don’t respond. I have always regarded their products to be quite good, but I won’t be buying any more. The best thing that can happen is to get a refund.

After looking at the reviews in Product review, we bought the Cook4Me from JB Hi-Fi. Where as this cooker does not produce the best taste, it works very well for people like me who do not love to cook but sometimes need to cook as a back up. Also, cleaning is very easy. I have not tried out of set menu yet but will soon try that.

Right from the start I found the Cook4Me easy to use. I use it for cooking rice, steaming vegetables and making curries, stews and vegetarian casseroles. I don't use the onboard recipes that much except for the timing steamed veges, rice etc. I usually make up my own ingredients, brown onions etc. then add vegetables and use the Manual "Quick cook" which is 10 minutes and the mean is ready. The recipes supplied was a good start for me, but once you become more confident with this wonderful machine you can adapt many pressure cooker recipes. I actually have two in case one stops working as I couldn't live without it. Saves on power too no having a slow cooker on for 8 hours.
I think this product is excellent,. But they do need to look into a decent recipe book also, for cook4 me + some times you want to sit back and look at all the recipe be fore you start and what’s in them, and Tefal customer service centres not much help,

Great for time poor people. Got this after having a baby when we simply didn't have time to cook. Very easy to use and having the ingredients and recipes stored is a bonus. found it very easy to clean also. One thing though I found even though it says 10 minutes for recipe it didn't include the pre heat time and time to release pressure which adds another 15 min

I bought my TC4ME in June 2017 then figured how beneficial this would be for Mum. It helps Mum with her concerns of extra power consumption.
The ease of use is fabulous. I am able to do Lamb shanks when I get home from a long day. Awesome addition to my kitchen.

Tefal Cook4Me Multicooker - Disappointing design which affects use.
Pros:
- The machine looks great.
- It's easy to clean.
- You can pressure cook meals in a 1/4 of the time a slow cooker takes to get the same results.
- The Tefal Cook4Me can be quite versatile with what it can do once you realise how many ways you can use it's functions.
Cons:
- The manufacturing design lacks in sustainability. Once the rubber foot came off the bottom [within 12 months] the machine started to throw out errors and is unbalanced. You would think it would be a simple matter to pop the foot lugs back in, but i...

Features good.
Could live without.
BUT for most it saves time.
Steak & Kidney with dumplings. Opened lid twice.
Yet to try roast. That will be the TEST.
Husband's ability tested. We had an Irish Stew and lived to have Beef Bourginoun.
Definitely staying in my kitchen. Planning to stretch husband's culinary ability.

Very easy to use, but not oftern because it’s quite big for small family. Good for slow cook recipe like steam corn or cooking bean. The recipe on the screen is difficult to follow but it has brown onion which is quite good to enrich flavor. Easy to clean, but heavy.

I rented the TEFAL cook 4 me for a period of 12 months had to return the product as it was stating error code 08 contact after sales service. I returned the product to the rental company to which they did replace 1 month after getting a new one same thing again. I am not at all satisfied with this TEFAL need to get a product that works all the time.

I have never eaten so much veggies than since I have bought the Cook4Me. Steaming vegetables, meats, and cereals is very fast as it is a pressure cooker. I use it as a rice cooker too with great results. The cleaning is very easy thanks to the removable tank that is also dishwasher safe. The only issues that I have found are the lack of Bluetooth connectivity to add recipes and no slow cooking mode, both these things are available on the latest European model, but not available in Australia. I highly recommend!

I did all my research for almost 2 years before I went out and brought it. I didn’t want to buy something that I would only use once or twice as I didn’t see the value for money in it then. But I finally got mine in June this year and I use it at these 6 times a week. I love it so much. I love the risotto, soups, boiling eggs and the pork ribs would have to be the family favourite by far. This machine is the best and many of my friends have now gone out and brought it too and love it also. Tefal you have made a very smart machine that I know has a very good reputation and I would be lost without. Great Job.

I love my tefal cook4me. It is so easy to use. I can make lunches and dinners really quick and easy. I literally use it every night. Just throw in the veggies, lentils and a sauce, 3 mins and I have my dinner all cooked and infused together, without having to standing and watch the stove. Clean up is simple, only need to wash the bowl. Highly recommend for anyone that is time poor!

So easy to use and clean. I had bought another Tefal but had a problem with the Lid so upgraded to the Cook4Me.
I have tried a lot of the menus in the book and so far they are great. I like the feature that it has "how many are you cooking for" it makes it really easy and is perfect for us (2). The features are fantastic and easy to read. So happy I upgraded. I changed from an all day cooker for curries and can't believe how quick this is.
Cooks well and was happy with features. 6 months out of warranty and its stopped working! Screen went blank, and stopped cooking. Retailer and Tefal not interested. Only used a couple of times a month at the most, told to try an appliance service place in town. Very disappointing for a $400 product.

lots of built in recipes or can use your own on manual setting, cooks automatic and keeps warm until you want to eat. can be used by children as it doesn't get hot on the outside .only one pot to clean and pot is dishwasher safe .If I could only have one appliance this would be the one . Would be great for use in Caravan .

Purchased on special through Good Guys. Has had plenty of use since then. Very easy to use with intuitive menus which quickly let you understand how to use it manually. Cleaning is simple and washable parts seem like they'll last a long time. I'm hopeful that the electronics will also stand the test of time as it's an expensive appliance. Keep in mind that the supplied recipes never include "pre-heating" time which often ends up nearly doubling the quoted cooking time. This is fair enough, just don't expect your chicken Korma cooked to perfection 10 minutes after throwing your ingredients in.

Very clear instructions on how to prepare the meals set in the cooker. I like how there is only one button but I can still navigate very easily. Food turns out to be surprisingly delicious and fast. One thing I don't like though is the steam collector at the back that could be overfilled sometimes if you're cooking something with a lot of liquid (or maybe I'm using it wrong)

This device is brilliant. I am no master chef, but can whip up passable meals in no time. Great for those with young families, as you can set it up and let it do its thing. Generally we set it up to cook to full capacity and take the meals to work for lunch the following day. The meals are not top shelf stuff, so if you have very high standards regarding food i wouldn't bother, but if you want a passable quick meal there's nothing better.

We were given this as a wedding present from our friends who are big foodies
Great pressure cooker for a first time user and it was super easy to use and comes with manual/cookbook so you can't get lost.
I found some areas a bit hard to clean but I think that is expected from any pressure cooker.
I haven't tried dishwasher the inside case yet.
If this is the first time you've used a pressure cooker you'll find it makes weird noises when it lets off steam but that is totally normal. I would also recommend putting the cooker outside when the steam lets off as it causes alot of condensation which in some houses causes mould build up even if you have an exhaust fan on.
I have been using it for a week and cooks perfectly, tried cooking in manual mode for recipes not in the menu and good. Very easy to use and no chance of over cooking.very easy to clean saves a lot of time and just one bowl to clean. Excellent!!!
