Toyota Landcruiser 200
I have owned the 200 series turbo diesel VX since March 2010 have just done over 90,000 km with no problems. The fuel filter light came on while towing my 25ft caravan I immediately checked with my mechanic who told me how to re-set the warning light and then I had the filter changed at the next service no problems since. Barely notice the van behind when towing, fuel consumption gets up to between 18 and 22 litres per 100 km but that is acceptable with a big van like mine usually between 10 and 13 l per 100 km around town. Love it
Comfortable ride, excellent space. long range fuel tank 138l
Bluetooth connection with phone not good in call mode

Good .... and Bad vibrations
In the past I have owned a 40 and 80 series Land Cruiser. This one is a 200 series VX V8 diesel. Overall it is a good vehicle with plenty of power and some comforts.. After 105000klms I feel I am qualified to say a few things about it. Best thing is the engine. In previous diesel models you would spend all day stirring the gearbox to get anywhere. With this V8.. forget all that. The world is flat !.
Biggest and continuing gripe is the vibration that is felt in the steering wheel at 1700-2100 rpm no matter what gear or speed. Toyota spent a fe...Read more
w days looking at it and then said 'tough, that's normal'. The gripe comes into play because the demo I drove had no such vibration at all !. In other words I did not get what I thought I was paying for, a $100k vehicle that should not vibrate !. Anyway... last Toyota in any shape or form for me because of their attitude re that. Power, design, ruggedness Cheap interior door trims that wear out, vibrations !, low equipment level for such an expensive vehicle, toyotas attitude to complaints.
Purchased in August 2021 at Toyota Dealers for A$91,000.00.

est of all, it is one VERY handsome Car. With to many extras and creature comforts to list. I am putting a Diesel chip in for even more driving pleasure.Careful with that chip. Research your decision. You may end up ruining CV joints and transmission components.
