Hi guys, i've got toyota prado 2005 petrol gxl auto.
1 week ago the engine light comes up, when i scan it it shows crankshaft sensore position A.
we change the one i found behind the aircon compresor .but still shows the same code .which is p0335.
so i wanderimg if you have any experiece of this

My prado seems to lock the brake on when turning a tight corner with a beeping sound and then good again it's a bit dangerous any ideas wat it is doing this

Hi my question is. My sister in-law owns a Toyota prado 2009 I think and she has come up with problem stating that when she is driving it will suddenly brake and pull to the left and tell her she is driving erratically. Is this something that can happen?

Our car was having issues starting, so we replaced the battery last week and all was good until this morning. It started fine but when I went to accelerate away from the kerb the engine just stopped. I put it back into park and tried again which again was an easy start and I reversed back along the front of my house..then I put her back into drive and she accelerated like there was no problem. It’s a push button start and hadn’t been started since Sunday. I know my husband pushed the start button twice that day to let me wind a window up when he’d already turned the engine off. Like going to the accessories..maybe he didn’t ‘turn it off’ properly and the battery was a touch depleted. Help!!

My 2004 prado j120 diesel just suddenly wont start and the fuel gauge doesn't move.
It was working well this morning, very full tank of fuel, all lights working but suddenly won't start.

It was very windy and rain tonight and thats when it happened.

Any ideas anyone???? I literally am in the middle of the bush (mfuwe, Zambia) so no quick runs to a toyota dealer for me.

My muffler makes a whining noise when the air conditioner is on.how can I fix this ?

I have a Toyota Prado 2004 Petrol v6 that is sporadically not starting, it will turn over but not start. My mechanic thought it was the airflow sensor which we replaced and seemed to work for a couple of week but now it seems that it is not getting any spark so now thinks it is the crank angle sensor. Has anyone had this issue? and if so do you have to just have to replace one sensor or is there others that work in union with it?

I have got 2016 prado Kakadu .... the transmission keep shifting to torque converter very quickly even at low speeds like under 60 km/h .... it’s very annoying.... guys what should I do to fix it .....

the alternator appears to be susceptible to water, is there anything i can do to limit this problem

Purchased this vehicle for caravaning. Went from Coff's Harbour to Glenn Inness and got about 15litres/per 100 kilometres. Which we thought was great. We inadvertently left the caravan plugged in and it completely drained the battery. Since then the economy has been horrible, about 28l/100kls at reduced speed ie 80 kph.

Did the flat battery effect on board computers to drastically reduce fuel economy or is there another issue?

does the 2022 toyota prado have 2 different type headlights it looks to me one of the glass clearer than one?

The multi function display screen in my car went blank. It doesn't response to anything. The picture of the screen comes on with the little white line on the bottom showing trying to load something but it goes blank after a few seconds and then it will repeat the picture again a few seconds later then go blank again. No radio or display or anything. Can you please advise me of what to do? Thank you, much appreciated.

Has anybody had trouble with the multi function display in toyota prado 2014? Our screen went blank and a picture comes out trying to load it but it goes blank after a couple of seconds then repeats. Is it possible to reset it? How to reset it? Can anyone help me? Mine is toyota prado Gxl 2014.
