I just purchased a 2008 4 cylinder diesel prado gx, it has original radio it works but not real well, I cannot find the airial for it and I was hoping someone may be able to tell me where I can find the other end of the coaxial cable (antibacterial end) please. Under the bonnet somewhere or in one of the guards etc.. thankyou any help would be great. Cheers

My 2015 vx 3ltr prado keeps loosing power and going into limp mode

Hi my question is. My sister in-law owns a Toyota prado 2009 I think and she has come up with problem stating that when she is driving it will suddenly brake and pull to the left and tell her she is driving erratically. Is this something that can happen?

Our car was having issues starting, so we replaced the battery last week and all was good until this morning. It started fine but when I went to accelerate away from the kerb the engine just stopped. I put it back into park and tried again which again was an easy start and I reversed back along the front of my house..then I put her back into drive and she accelerated like there was no problem. It’s a push button start and hadn’t been started since Sunday. I know my husband pushed the start button twice that day to let me wind a window up when he’d already turned the engine off. Like going to the accessories..maybe he didn’t ‘turn it off’ properly and the battery was a touch depleted. Help!!

Purchased this vehicle for caravaning. Went from Coff's Harbour to Glenn Inness and got about 15litres/per 100 kilometres. Which we thought was great. We inadvertently left the caravan plugged in and it completely drained the battery. Since then the economy has been horrible, about 28l/100kls at reduced speed ie 80 kph.

Did the flat battery effect on board computers to drastically reduce fuel economy or is there another issue?

does the 2022 toyota prado have 2 different type headlights it looks to me one of the glass clearer than one?

The multi function display screen in my car went blank. It doesn't response to anything. The picture of the screen comes on with the little white line on the bottom showing trying to load something but it goes blank after a few seconds and then it will repeat the picture again a few seconds later then go blank again. No radio or display or anything. Can you please advise me of what to do? Thank you, much appreciated.

Hi, I live in Tanzania and just imported 2018 prado 2.7 petrol from Japan. The factory fitted navigation system is NSZT-Y66T. Can anyone help me how to change the language from Japanese to English? Originally all the options were functioning well but after i tried to set my mobile via blue tooth all the functions including back camera view got erased.

Asking for a friend if anyone can help. He owns a 2012 prado diesel.
He seems to feel like the engine or turbo is a problem. He feels the engine is sluggish at about 2200rpm under and not under load. Is there any common faults or something I can check. Air / fuel filters are fine. Any other ideas ?

Hello, I have a 2012 prado T/D. I am trying to find out the torque specs for the front and rear brake caliper holding bolts please. I am having issues with the Toyota site to subscribe for the repair/service manual, can't find the specs online, last hope is a forum or call toyota tomorrow (good luck).

Would you recommend installing a 3” exhaust on my 2016 2.8L Prado? Am told it will be better under foot and improve fuel performance.
