Good reliable car. Driving dynamics average
We bought this car a few years ago and has served us well. The only disappointment is the poor driving position and handling. The high drivers seat feels quite unnatural
Purchased in September 2021 for $4,999.00.

2013 Toyota Yaris
Really strong for a 1.3L. Great for parking in the city as it is a tiny car. A lot of space for shopping and a shoe wardrobe if you need. Very quiet too. Good legroom if you want to have a nap on a lunch break. Reliable car and really good fuel efficiency.

Satisfied customer
Satisfied customer, spacious and easy to park. Good mileage so easy on saving. Not a luxury car but first car to start with, helpful in each way. The boot is small but over all a great car for family.Even when driving on a high speed their is no bubbling and its a smooth drive.

Good budget car
I love this car. It’s small and cosy. Suitable for a small family. It’s inexpensive side on maintenance, fuel efficiency makes it a cost saver.
I have travelled far with it without issues and have always followed Toyota guidelines making it more reliable even in the long run.
I would recommend it for families who want to save cost and yet enjoy the luxury of a car.
Remember, You won’t have issues in parking!!

Awesome small car for wifey
No one needs an introduction to Toyota they just keep on running and running..you have to sell it to get a new car.
Usually Toyotas are boring to drive but 2012 Yaris YRS has a lot to offer
Powered windows
Cruise control
Bluetooth speaker phone
We got the car service hand and have driven it for few days now..i will soon pass it onto my wife for driving around
Milage is good 6.9/100kms

Great little car
The Yaris is economical, drivable, nimble, surprisingly comfortable, relatively quiet and reliable
The Yaris is not a performance vehicle in terms of torque, power or extreme handling. However, it can tow light loads.
The cup holders, seat folding and a range of other internal aspects are actually better than current model corollas. However, the 2006 model, as expected has a very old style stereo system. It is a cheaper car second hand than a corolla of the same vintage by a significant margin so depreciation was and perhaps is not good...Read more
for Yaris. That said, a point worth noting is that the all expensive 100K service is not expensive as it uses a timing chain not a belt (eg Corolla) and thus the chain will last the life of the car.. Overall, buy for the right price and enjoy trouble free if underwhelming performance.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

never a disappointment after driving for more than 8 years
I'm currently considering getting a new car so I though might as well do a review for my dear Yaris who served me well in the past years, taking me to work everyday, taking me on road trips with friends, moving me from one city to another, moving flat packed furnitures from Ikea back home... I have lots of good memory with this little car, which is my first car. It looks cute for a female driver, and I love the funky digital dashboard. Its compact size means it's easy to snuggle into a small parking spot. It does not have a big engine (meaning ...Read more
you‘ll find it work very hard to help you climb over a sloppy hill), but it's economic for my purpose of use, a little petrol goes a long way. It has lots of room inside, and the back seats can be put down to make even more room. It's time for me to say farewell due to the need of a bigger car for my growing family. I'll miss our memories together.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

2005 3-door YRS
I bought this as my first car two years ago with just over 90k on the clock and it has been a fantastic little car. So easy to drive and cheap to maintain. It's been from Sydney to the Gold Coast and back a few times and was perfect. Everyone who drives it loves it. Definitely getting another Yaris when I'm ready for a new car.

terrible - will lose $3000 off resale due to paint peeliing, which is a well documented world wide p
YRS 3 door Auto. Neat to park. Terrible to drive.
Very disapointed with around town fuel effiency- reason why we bought it. Took back to Toyota for there help (they were great) but they couldnt get it down around town either 6.1 on open rd and 7.8 around town- from memory did this in 2008 when we bought.
Very hard to keep to level speed. (wonder if this is only a complaint with the autos???) accelarator has no resistance just flops so you are constantly watching (along with all in car thanks to central dash) the speedo. For me it takes the...Read more

Great little car.
I purchased my Yaris Yrx (1.5L, 5 door manual), brand new late in 2007. Which makes it about 3 years that I've been driving the car. My previous cars were a Mazda3 (2004 model) and a Ford Tesla (1984 model).
The Drive.
The car is responsive (0-100km in... no idea) and is fairly stable for a small car on the road. You do feel the occasional bumps (not more then the Mazda3) but for a car of this size it's still smooth. Parking the Yaris is a joy, the places you can fit it into is surprising. It is a bit noisy on the inside especially on highw...Read more

Great city car!
I bought my first new car in 2009 and chose a Yaris YRS with the additional safety pack (additional airbags) This small car seemed to look like more value for money, compared to the Mazda 2 and Hyundai cars which seemed empty and cheap on the insides. The Yaris is comortable, has adjustable back seats that can fold down flat for large boot space. Excellent to park and great fuel economy. occasionally gone over the recommended Km's when servicing but every mechanic assures me you cannot kills these cars and are very well made. Gone on a few long trips, which can be annoying when there is no cruise control, but other than that it kept up the pace. Never missed a beat!
Great value for money, reliable city car.

Very, very low maintenance car
Bought new in 2006 $19900. Driven over 115k and this car has been very very forgiving. Log book service every 15-20k (instead of the recommended 10k) but used fully synthetic oil. Very stable even with second hand tyres and excess speeds in the wet. Don't know how they managed to achieve this amazing stability in such a narrow car. Fuel on the better side but air-con makes a big difference (~30% more fuel with aircon on)
I am a rather aggressive driver and have pushed on occasion the car to 165km/h and it performed very well (don't do this!). ...Read more

Excellent
I bought my Toyota Yaris 1.3L YRS hatchback in 2007 and it has been running perfectly as my everyday car ever since. The small turning circle of the Yaris makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The back seats fold down flat so you create a large floor space at the back of the car, which is great when you need to fit in lots of things. The 1.3L engine performs well and is fine for normal suburban driving but is lacking in power and struggles a bit going up steep hills. The digital speedometer is clear and easy to see and the centre place...Read more
ment is very clever as it allows you to check your speed without having to look through the steering wheel. Over the past couple of years my Yaris has proven itself to be a cool, reliable, useful car and I hope it can keep going for many years to come. Great turning circle, able to the back seats flat, fuel economy, digital speedometer Lacks power, quality of the plastics on the dashboard isn't that greatSimilar opinion? Excellent
I've owned this car for over a year now, and so far no problems have been found at any of the checkups. Mine is a automatic 5DR yaris 1.5L engine. Fuel efficiency and reliability are the best features of the yaris. It can get expensive to get checkups at Toyota though.
Fuel efficiency, leg space in the rear seats, reliability. Seats are comfortable. Easy to turn. Lots of storage space.
Smash test results show that the car is quite fragile when hit, although it is quite common for small cars like this. The air con sometimes has a funny smell.

Good
Overall, I love my yaris YRS. I've had it now for 2 years. It's great. It's small on the outside but big on the inside. It's great for parking as you can always get into any tight spots, especially in the city! I don't use that much petrol with it either. I usually fill up once a week and only $20 and it gets me to work (although I don't work very far.. 30 mins away) and run a few errands locally. So it's pretty good. Love it. Except sometimes I wish it has a little bit more engine power.
Small, very cute design. Very spaceious inside. Fuel economic.
Not enough boot space (just a little bit small). Not enough power in the engine
