Do you recommend buying a used 2005 Toyota Yaris 2 door with 134000 km on it?

My 2005 2 door had 120,000km on it and it was still going great. Needed new brake pads, major service and possible some new shocks to get it 100%
Mine is a 2009 model, so not real sure about the earlier years. Mine has done 80,000 and never missed a beat. Mechanics say it's in top shape. My Dad also has a 2009 YRZ sedan and it's great - never any problems. I don't know a lot about cars so something that is reliable is a must and I've never met anyone who has had any issues. Mechanics have advised me that these Toyota models are well built to last a LONG time. Hope this helps?? My cousin has an earlier model Echo and loves it - never had a problem and she drives a lot of kms.
I have a 2005 Yaris 4 door with 130 000km that Im selling. Its running absolutely perfectly, still beautiful to drive, never ever had a problem with it at all. Only reason Im selling is we have to drive on dirt roads every day and its too dangerous with kangaroos. You can't go wrong for around town or city driving, and they're great on fuel, I can get about 550km out of a tank.

1. whats the best price u think i could buy a new YRS sedan auto in metro NSW good peeps?
2. what do u guys reckon is better, hatch or sedan YRS?

If the sedan has fold down seats (like the hatch) go the hatch. My wife went the hatch because she is a fan of hatches and it was the last on the lot and got it for the price of a 3-door.

I have just test driven a Yaris 2008 model. There are many things I love about it- it drives like a new car, the seats are reasonsbly comfortable and its small and fuel efficient. On the down side I found the steering a bit stiff and I wondered if anyone else had found this. I have been driving a Mazda manual previously and although there are many similarities I found the steering a little easier on the wrists in the Mazda

Allison, I have a 2010 Yaris YRS--Sedan--so unable to tell you about the 2008--however I find that mine is in no way stiff--(however I was driving a 1985 car with NO power steering b4)--but I had test driven quite a few other cars.
If you are not sure I would be having it checked out by a mechanic or someone that is familiar with the model.-- was it private or a dealer?
