Worst service. Don’t use it
Terrible customer support. They held on to your money once the transfer is made and call it legal checks. There is no one who can answer why my
Money is held

Deactivated and Disgusted
My account was deactivated and no reason given.
I appealed to re-activate it.
I have received four emails, the last one three times, telling me to jump through hoops.
The last instruction, sent again after I did it twice, was "Write your special code, 228, on a piece of paper and hold it up with your drivers licence in the same frame as your face for a selfie".
I actually did it for a third time and "something went wrong, try again"
This is the last monkey trick I will do.
There is no way to phone them in Australia.
There is no way to email them.
I am not paying international charges to phone them in England and go on hold for an hour.
Non-existent customer service....
Great Service
I've done more than 50 transactions with wise and never had any problems services excellent fees are low and transfers are super fast. I will continue to use this service.
Never trust!
I have transferred money to overseas and waiting for 2 days and it showing that they are transferring in 13 minutes and then keep changing time. Time expires but transfer still not happened. I am checking since morning.

Easy, Simple, Fast & Reliable
Very easy to use, setup and the verification process is great. The transfer speed is good and is better than OFX, and I didn’t experience any blockers with my transfer.

Best exchange rate to Brazil
I switched to WISE as PayPal had been ripping me off long enough with international transfers. WISE's website is great, easy to use. Their exchange rate was really good, low and transparent fees and my receiver got exactly the amount WISE noted they would, which is something PayPal is terrible with as well.
The receiver got the money very quickly and no issues. I will certainly keep using their services.
Not satisfied
No clear charges, poor customer service
Hard to contact them via phone or email
Hope they do t like us to co that them due to the mistakes they do it's not correct

Great service
I recently transferred a relatively large amount to USA. Wise had the best exchange rate and the lowest fee. Recipient received the money the next day. Very happy with the service.

Excellent
Have made small and large overseas transfers all with no problems. Even large overseas transfers were faster than small domestic transfers by my bank. Exchange rates always real-time to the split second and then fixed. Customer service dept helpful. Highly recommend.

They stole $2,000 from me
For an unknown reason they said they wanted to terminate my account (that's ultimately their choice I suppose) but there's nearly $2,000 of my money that they have and they won't give it to me. I've asked 50+ times about it and they've ignored me.

Flawless large transfer to Singapore
Not understanding why other people are having so many issues, but it seems like transfers to Singapore are simple and easy. I've just made two really large transfers to my own overseas account (think tens of thousands, AUD to SGD) both arrived on the same day. In fact the second transfer was received within minutes. There might be less issues if you are transferring to your own account, but I don't know. I'm only retelling my experience. Also not too sure how the fees compare to others, but rate is good and I'm happy with the service provided so even if fees were a tad bit higher than other providers, I don't mind.

NEW FEES are TOO EXPENSIVE- Don't use this service anymore
I am dissatisfied with the significant increase to transfer money.
When transfer wise was purchased, I thought they will honour the fees charged for transaction but now I can see they just got very greedy and I will not be using this service. TO all my network, I am suggesting to use other services.

Taking bad customer service to new depths of idiocy
If you hired some retarded chimps, put them on a diet of LSD, I would still guarantee that they would outperform this lot.
I have had over 25 emails now with their customer service team about the same issue and yet we continue to go around in circles.
If you are a shareholder of the ironically named 'Wise' then you should be pushing to have the management fired and at the very least the person who manages Customer Service to be tarred and feathered, then fed to savages.
Note that they changed their name recently from Transferwise.com - per...

The new Wise is what TransferWise used to challenge
Compare the final receiving money fellows.
Wise is indicating lower charges and better exchange rates than Western Union, but actually giving the receivers less money than WU.
Wise pledges a challenge to the big banks with no hidden fees. How come the Wiser's receiver ends up getting less than through Western Union when WU charges a higher fee and offering a worse exchanges rate?
Transferwise has now gotten "wiser" ownership. It has turned into one of the banks it used to challenge.
The new Wise is a liar. Watch out for your wallets fellows.
New ownership - be very careful
Transferwise is going through a change of ownership and direction. Be very careful. They are no longer who they were. They have appointed Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as joint global co-ordinators for its long-awaited initial public offering (IPO). They re no longer the upstart making needed changes in the banking world to combat the greed of the major players. They are in bed with the major players.
App is hacked
Someone got into app and set up his own bank details in it from Kenya, i sent msg to helpdesk no reply so far, it is simply not acceptable that someone able to go into my acct even i had two factor authentication on my app

No services on weekends or public holidays and no phone customer support in Australia
Though Wise's exchange rate is competitive their transfer service is available only 5 days a week Monday to Friday and not available on public holidays either. They do not have a contact link through their very disappointing app. No contact telephone customer service number available in Australia. If I am wrong please correct me.
My advice to customers, if you're using this service during weekends and public holidays in Australia please use others service which are 24/7.
Fantastic service - much better than the big banks!
I was a bit weary of using Wise (previously TransferWise) for international money transfers based on some of the past reviews, but thought I would give it a go as I only has a small amount to transfer ($100AUD) to Denmark (DKK) and the major banks I tried had a minimum of $500AUD. I found the sign-up to the app easy, the transfer seamless and updates on progress through the app were just amazing. The money arrived in the Danish bank account 3 days later as promised. I will definitely use this company again .. and best of all the exchange rate and fees were way less than the major banks!
Terrible Company. Avoid at all costs.
Commensurate with many other users, funds have been held for 2 weeks to do their checks. Checks. Sure. Phone service was just as bad. Totally avoid using at all costs.

Changed name and service at the same time
Transferwise was a great company. Low rates and efficient. The name changed and this seems to have changed the service level at the same time. We have multiple offices around the world and contract staff in many countries. Transferwise made it cheap and quick to get money moved.
It seems literally the say that the name changed to Wise the sevice changed to non existant! They are holding funds and claiming it is to check the integrity of the transfer even when the payments are going to regular recipients. We have decided to pay more and not risk using Wise from today. I feel there is a risk in using them now. Clearly all is not well at Wise as they are now known.
Fraud Business
They took 5,000$ from me and did not transfer on the pretext of deducting tax at source. They have neither deposited tax since October 2020 5 months now not provided refund. Avoid looters. Will have to go to court to reclaim my funds.

TransferWise are the perfect example of utter incompetence
I have been trying to deal with the customer service team for 4 weeks now. I've put in many calls, emails and have been told that a senior manager would call me - NOTHING.
This has been a dreadful experience. I wanted to use Transferwise for business purposes but they are just too hard to deal with and the staff are useless and the managers hide away in ivory towers.
Find an alternative and don't waste your time.

Not good . Try Western union, no fees on transfer into account transfer .
Getting money as a fees try western union much easier and safer even not charged on account transfer . Always even charging account transfer and take 2-3 days into account transactions
Gone bad
After a tricky start, I was happy enough with Transferwise - good rates, which is important for small charities, and a little faster than banks - usually took a few days for Central Asia, which is fairly typical because it's not an easy place to transfer money unless you want to pay excessive fees and terrible rates with Western Union. Recently, something has changed for the worse. Last transfer fell over and zero help in fixing the problem. I will be looking for another provider
Transferwise Has Changed
When i first joined transferwise it was really good but this covid has brought big changes and advertising crappy business accounts is false. I run an ecommerce store and wanted to use it to pay for inventory and they deactivated my account. Seriously there terms and conditions for a business account are ridiculous. Anyway i would not waste time setting up with this company.
