Great for making your own ice tea.

published

When I went to the US on holiday we drank heaps of Ice Tea so when I got home I wanted try making it myself. However using our normal black tea that we have just didn't taste the same. I was finally recommended Twinings Ceylon Orange Pekoe and it tastes great and is definitely the closest in taste to what I had in the US.
Perfect for Ice Tea
Only comes in small boxes.

Should be available in your local Woolworths, if not ask the store manager to order the product in or do an online search, it is only available in teabags not in loose leaf form.

Is there anywhere I can buy this tea in leaf form at supermarket prices? Twinings seems to have simultaneously withdrawn it from all Coles and Woolworths stores. (Sydney city or Inner West)

Hi Giles84, I am indeed sorry to hear that, I understood that Coles & Woollies banned Twinings Finest Celon tea because the distributors AB Food & Beverages Australia Pty Limited were not able to give continuous supply, Checking the Twinings website website Celon Orange Pekoe is no longer listed,
Clearly A B foods (Twinings Aust & SE Asia) believe that we should be drinking Australian Afternoon tea (YUK).

I buy the tea from woolworths at toongabbie nsw, but I have not purchaced it for a few weeks, so I don't know if they have deleted the product or not. Try going to www.twinings.com.au and asking them about stockists. They might be able to point you in the right direction. Hope this is of help to you. I will have to check for myself as the orange pekoe is my favorite tea.
