How do I mute the voice on my GPS?

To mute all sounds tap on the Blue symbol in the top RH corner of the Map screen. At the bottom LH corner of the new screen you will see the speaker icon. Tap on that and a red cross will cover it indicating that sound is now muted. You will also see the volume slider next to it if you just want to reduce the volume. If you want to mute the voice but not other sounds/warnings, tap on the tools icon on the "home" screen. Next you will see "Sounds and Warnings". Tap on that then again on "Volume". Now you will see the individual sliders for all sounds. Adjust as desired.

Macka, I added 4 Gb via MicroSD card to my Uniden IGO500 but Naviextras Toolbox won't recognize it, so there's no room to additionally install the USA/Canada maps which are a mere 3.5 Gb in size. Can you tell me how get the added memory to be included? Thanks.

I am sorry but I have never tried to add extra maps so have not come up against this problem.
