just bought 2 packets of 1kg vita brits, very long time consumer, more than 40 years. Noticed boxes are different one is noticebly taller, this made me curious, so purchased both. Have only opened smaller box and have noticed that the taste is different, reading labels of ingredients are very similar although the smaller shaped box makes mention of lupins. other box does not, what is going on, regards Chris.

It seems your decision to source vitabrits overseas is profit driven. I believe your sales will go through the floor as the taste which is nothing like I have been eating for 50 years will become a massive liability. I wouldn’t be surprised that you will either be forced to sell the brand possibly within 12 months if anyone will buy it or It will disappear from the shelves.
Because there has been so much criticism would you consider reverting back to “made in Australia from Australian produce” even if you need to sell it off to another manufacturer? Currently sourcing alternate breakfast serial.

What ever floats your boat mate, if you think coffee will improve the taste. Personally I think it would be a waste of a good cup of coffee.

Not my uncle anymore if you persist with your new vitabrits. Why have you changed from a great product to cardboard cutouts?

I’ve noticed in my local supermarkets (Coles, Woolies and IGA) that the smaller size box of Vita Brits are no longer available. Perhaps the small size has been discontinued? Please confirm.

Thanks, Colin Stephenson

Unlike Weetabix, vitabrits contain no added sugar; they are just 99% wheat and 1% salt. Nothing else.

Check the information on the packaging would be the normal thing to do.

Weet-Bix are better, because Weet-Bix are still made in Australia, unlike the 'new' Vita-brits, which deceptively no longer states the country of manufacture.

I would like to know the levels of glyphosate (weed killer) in 100g of each product from Uncle Tobey, not whether is above or below Australian standards please? Recent published literature has me concerned, I am looking for a cereal with the lowest number hopefully helping me to make a healthy choice.

Why have Vita Brits lately have hard bits of seed in them?? I am about to find another cereal before i break my plastic dentures on the hard seeds,it will be a sad day as i only like Vita Brits.consistency in the thickness of the biscuits would also be an advantage if the hard seeds can be removed.

I also experienced this, it doesn't really look like seeds though. I'm going to make a complaint about it to Uncle Tobys.
