Perfect First Pram
Being a first time Mum, I found shopping for a pram daunting.
After much consideration, I purchased this pram.
My baby is now 9 months old and I am very happy with my Valco Spark.
I wanted a pram for $500 or less as I was not prepared to spend big dollars on my first pram.
I also wanted a reversible seat and did not want to have a separate bassinet attachment to store later.
This pram is every thing in one.
I found that it was great as I was able to alternate between seat and bassinet to suit my baby's needs.
The pram is very user fri...Read more

Excellent!
When looking for a pram there were a few criteria it had to fill - and this made it somewhat easier to eliminate the hundreds of prams that are available - if it weren't for our criteria I think it would do our head in!
We required a pram to be:
- Lightweight
- Affordable
- Easy to use
- Bassinet option
The Zee Spark ticked all these boxes and more with the convertible seat into bassinet - eliminating the need to have to buy a separate attachment (which we loved).
The pram is light enough for me to load into the car without too much of ...Read more

Very Good
This is a great stroller for everyday use. It's easy to manouver and relatively light. It converts from bassinet to regular seat easily and it can face both ways. It has 3 different recline levels and you can attach a few different brands of car capsule with an adaptor piece.
forwad and rear facing, don't need to buy separate bassinet attachment, very easy to manouver and narrow, very easy to fold and set up, can use with a car capsule
you have to lift the seat off the chassie to fold and even tho the pram when put together is acrually quite small compared to many others, the fact that it's 2 pieces means it takes up quite a lot of space in the car.

Hello Sas, thanks for the review and feedback. You can actually fold the pram while the seat is in the chassis. This is possible when the seat is in both - bassinet and seat - modes, as well as, faci... Read more
ng both ways, as long as the seat is fully reclined. We will be posting a demo video on our website (valcobaby.com.au) shortly and will post the link to it here, as well. Hope this helps.Hi Sas - do you find the seat is too short? i put my one year old in one at a store the other day and her feet were over the edge of the footrest and the sales assistant didn't think it was moveable.
Valco Baby, where is the video you promise to the OP last year?? I am too would like to know if the bassinet does not have to be taken away to fold the pram. Thanks

Very good pram
We bought this pram after looking an nearly every pram out there! Our baby is 6 months old and it has been exactly what we were after. I love how it converts from bassinet to upright seating without needing any extra attachments. It is easy to separate and pop in the boot, it's lightweight and not bulky when pushing around the shops. There is one thing about this pram that is very annoying though. The clip that holds the hood on always (and I mean every time we use the pram) pops out, which causes the hood to collapse. This is very annoying whe...Read more
n your baby is asleep and you need to fiddle with a clip which is right near the head of the baby. We have already had it replaced once and it still happens. Apart from this I think its an excellent pram. size, weight, colour hood clipsSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love it!
It is exactly what we wanted. A small practicial easy to use stroller.
It has two easy buttons to take the capsule off and two mor to pull to fold down and it's done! So light weight that I can lift it anywhere and easy to pull up and lock into position.
We are first time parents so I don't agree with the other review but these are just our opinions.
We got the red waffle colour and I love it! We wanted a stroller to use as a bassinet mode and toddler and it does just that! It's not too wide so I can easily use it in the shops. We got it just under $500 and we think it's good value you so far.

Over engineered not for new parents!
We bought a Valco Zee Spark from a representative at a baby expo. Apart from the wrong information that we were given (we were sold two addiional attacments that actually didn't go with the stroller we purchased) we're not very happy with the stroller. I returned the first one we were given as it did not stay up when being re-opened. Although the second one works, the bassinet cover doesn't sit well over the seat, the two triggers you pull to collapse it are difficult to pull impossible when holding a baby, the bassinet straps are pretty po...Read more
intless, the seat harness comes from behind where the baby sits so the baby will be sitting on two black bits of plastic, the underneath is to small to fit very much in it, and the zip that connects the hood to the seat is made in a way that the zip is nearly impossible to open or close. for a 500 stroller - it looks pretty, but is way too smart for its own good and is not practical and easy to use. looks prettySimilar opinion? Is the valco spark good to run with? Why/why not?

Valiant B.Valco Baby
Hi Nikki,
Thanks for your question.
With safety as a primary concern, we do not endorse running with your Spark pram.
For a pram to be suitable for running, it should ideally have large wheels, be a 3 wheeler and the tyres should be pneumatic.
Hope this helps!

Hello, if the front tyres of my pram have no tred, how can I just buy the two instead of 4 new ones? Thanks, Claire

The only method I know of to get replacement parts is to contact valco baby support team. Link: https://www.valcobaby.com.au/contactus
They do sell replacement parts separately.
