Great product, easy assembly and brilliant customer service to boot!
We purchased a 1m x 1m Vegepod with a stand on wheels.
Easy assembly and with the wheels, I can push it around the deck to get the get the best sun / rain / shade / shelter.
Upon assembly, one tiny part missing. Vegepod sent it to me quickly and all is good.
Cannot wait to see the garden grow!

Fantastic product, loving my fresh veggies
I bought a medium vegepod on a stand and love that I finally win the battle with the grubs for my lettuce. On a small lot, its great to be able to move it to chase the sun all year round.

Great product!
Got 2 large with stands & their both full to the top. One has cherry tomatoes, snow peas & capsicum all staked & about 80cm in height, none get squashed by the hood, like someone below said. Lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, strawberries & heaps more in the other one. I use blood n bone every few weeks & they love it. Hose works great in both, & easy as to set up. We live in the middle of nowhere in QLD with stinking 40 degree heat all through summer, both pods are in full sun, not one bit of shade & everything thrives. No windburn! No sunburn! No bugs! 3 yr old granddaughter loves it. Thanks vegepod. Purchased from TVSN.

Love it
Purchased my VPod last Friday direct from the factory and had a great chat to Dave who supplied all I needed with some helpful tips. Thank you. I assembled my Vpod that night (with beer in hand) and firstly had a go with the written instructions (tricky) then used the videos which are fantastic. Not sure about the lead in music (my sharona) brought back memories of passion pop and harvey wallbangers!! Didn't get it right all the time but that was more my state of mind at the time and confirmed now that I have since reviewed the videos! Plants are happy. Love the ability of wheeling it around in my small courtyard. I am impressed, friends are impressed. Would purchase more if I had the room.

Very Happy
We had one large Vegepod and loved it so much we purchased another. We haven't experienced as yet any problems with pests, clips or anything else, but great to see that we can address it if we need. Extremely happy and already harvesting within 3 weeks :)

Not What I Expected
I found it hard to put together. Really is a two man job.
The hood kept coming off the base whenever I opened it and had to be slotted back in - very annoying
Hard to grow a combination ofl vegetables - especially a combination of tall and short as the only place tall ones can grow is in the middle otherwise the plant is squashed by the shape of the hood
The sprayer inside the hood kept coming away from the hose so I had to water by hand which meant lifting the lid which meant reattaching the lid as it kept detaching itself.
I ended up n...Read more

Small Vegepod
I got a small vegepod for my apartment balcony. It's hard to grow veges on the balcony as we get a bit of wind.
Was very excited to get the call to say it had arrived, set it up and planted 4 different veges. They started to grow really well. My lettuce got aphids however that was easy to fix with sprays of pyrethrum for a couple of weeks. I had just started to do some harvesting when we got some strong winds. I was away at work when the canopy blew off, veges got severely wind damaged and I had to throw most of them out. I contacted vegepod...Read more
who said I was 'crazy' as wind didn't effect veges like I was describing. I sent photos of the damage. No response and no retract of the 'crazy' comment :-( Not a good business decision there. They did promise to send me extra clips to clip down the canopy more strongly. They took a while to arrive however have now had the clips for two weeks and they seem to be doing the job. Moral of the story... if you are in a windy area the vegepod is good however you MUST get extra clips otherwise the weeks you spend cultivating your veges will go up in smoke - or the wind as it may be.4 comments

If by email please send me a copy, if not whom did you speak to so I can follow up. ThanksIt was over the phone I was told I was crazy to say that my veges were wind damaged. He did not believe that wind could cause damage to plants. I don't know the guys name. Sorry I tried to forget him

I will check.

Great...but
We have two small ones and they are great, have grown all sorts of veggies and herbs successfully. However, there are two 'faults'. The product is presented as being pest free but this isn't the case as small insects get in easily through the gap between the canopy and pod itself. I've since put in sticky yellow insect catchers which does work but it is a real pain having to constantly change them as they fill up quickly with dead insects. So, a long way from being pest free. The other issue is that the ends of the canopy frames are rusting, not a good look. It isn't the nuts and bolts as they are plastic.

t's pests in "easily". It will indeed keep the vast majority of pests out such as big ones like possums and birds and also the majority of the most destructive small ones such as cabbage moth, white butterfly and slugs/snails. The only pests really small enough that can get in are aphids. Some small insects getting in are good for pollination and not really pests unless destroying plants. Re the poles we have since changed them to gal steel. Although the slight rusting in the ends of the old ones where the powder coat flaked inside connectors doesn't typically ruin the integrity of the poles, the discolouration if for nothing else was worth changing them hence we did. If you would like some replacement poles just email us!According to our local nursery, when we took some examples to them, one of the bugs that gets into our pods are cabbage moths.
I will take the replacement poles if they are no charge, thanks

G'day manny, In that case you have brought the cabbage moth in with your seedlings. The gap is too small for them to enter as adults I assure you 100percent. Nurseries do not protect heir seedlings li... Read more
ke our canopies do (unless they are spraying in the nursery which quite a lot do without telling people). Anyway, to ensure no cabbage moth or white butterfly are born into your pod you should run your fingers over the leaves both sides so as to clean off any eggs. They can be size of pinhead yellow cylinders and not in clusters so hard to see. Spend ten mins with them and run over leaf first!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

So happy with my 1st, I bought 2 more!
I bought a large Vegepod and was very pleased with the way my vegies grew so quickly without bird or bugs stealing my seedlings. So, I decided to buy 2 more large Vegepods but haven't managed to put them up yet as the weather hasn't been very nice. I'm hoping I can get them put together by the time my next lot of seedlings are ready to plant out.

I get to eat my veggies - not the possums!
I bought the small one; it's big enough to service our small household with fresh greens every day. I had been trying to grow them in pots and in the ground but the crops were puny and nibbled by possums. Love my vegepod - all my veggies are now eaten by me!

If I could give 100 stars, I would.
As soon as I planted a large one, I wanted another.
Fresh salad on my plate just two weeks after planting, the kids are loving eating fresh lettuce.
Ive set a timer up on the tap which makes for super easy watering. Great work guys !!

We have the best broccoli that I have ever grown. Don't have to worry about the white moth. Also have grown carrots lovely and straight. Also peas. My grandson eats them like lollies. I am finding I am watering more than suggested. I have the pods in a very sheltered courtyard. The soil feels dry after a couple of days. I am testing it right at the bottom. I think the broccoli are very thirsty. I have 12 full size plants plus a brussel sprout plant. Not doing as well but interesting to grow. The other pod I have peas and carrots and they are not using as much water.

bolts rusting on legs
When I saw Vegepod's in Elsternwick and on TV thought best item i had seen and purchased a few. They are fiddly to put together. The plants with good soil premium works well. The disappointment in first ones is that the leg bolts have rusted and will need to be replaced and Vegepod should supply with recall....

Possum is disappointed.
No more thieves in the night! Even though we get limited sunlight the veges grow better in there. The tomatoes are healthier and even coriander and rocket grows. We've had it for two years and the canopy frame has rusted a fair bit but doesn't feel weak yet. The clips don't stay in but I read you've improved them, so good on you for that. How about making a tall version for tomatoes and beans?

Love my large Vegepod so easy to assemble, a really nice height no bending. I check my Veges every morning . The seedlings grow so quick without being attacked by little unwelcomed leaf niblers . Never have grown vegetables before but with the help of the vegepod family on Facebook I have learnt a lot . I do highly recommend the vegepod .

Very Versatile Vegepod
Two weeks of growing tomatoes, basil, capsicum, lettuce, kale and edible violas, I am picking lettuce and kale leaves and they are just delicious. Basil also fine to pick. Yum
October 5th 2017 Update: Plant Ahead Reminder with Vegepod
With the warm weather upon us, a reminder to plant ahead so as we are not running out of our salad mixes etc. I have today planted lettuce and beetroot seedlings amongst my existing lettuce and kale so as to continue my supply. Still enjoying the blossoming produce and we have had some wonderful, much needed rain here on the Sunshine Coast. ☔️

Can it tolerate the heat in middle east? Reaching 50 degrees celsius during summer.

Live in Newstead Vic. Does the lift up lid protect veg from Frost?
2 answers
I don't have any personal experience, as we don't get frost in Perth. But from what I've read, frost forms in situ when the temperature around the leaf surface falls below freezing. So the canopy by itself wouldn't stop that happening.
However, the mass of water and damp soil in the Vegepod unit would comprise a heat reservoir, and the canopy would help slow the loss of heat from that.
So on balance, the canopy would help a bit, but wouldn't give guaranteed protection from frost.
Simon H.Vegepod
Yes the commercial farming mesh does indeed stop air frost in its own right. But even if super super cold frost you can get the additional hothouse cover (non permeable clear greenhouse effect) to add extra warmth.

Most reviews are pretty good, given the 4.4 average.
The plastic can warp a bit and muck up the bolt hole alignments, but I was able to work my way around this using a screwdriver and hammer and finally assemble the unit.
Simon H.Vegepod
Give all the negative reviews!? We have an average of 4.4 out 5 over several hundred.
The Frustrating Part of all this platform is that it attracts detractors and anyone with the slightest complaint whom for the vast vast majority
1) Only have shot from the hip and never engaged the company to work out what was wrong
2) only ever review the assembly stage and not the actual amazing growing of veg
3) much is user error
Despite all that we still have 4.4/5 which is a High Distinction.
