Been 6 months with the bike now according to the speedo done more than 800 km. Still am very happy with my purchase use it almost every day, bought a really good bag for shopping, never managed to fit in the free service, tyres wearing well, so do brakes. Still very pleased, top quality components.
Purchased in September 2021 at 99 Bikes for A$1,800.00.

Velectrix EBike folding style. Follow on from Robs review
After 65 km on the Riesling trail in Clare and some time off bike journeys these bikes were just the berries. The only casualty being sore bottoms.( stock seats were surprisingly good we have better)
We rode with 1 the lowest assist level and used the throttle control to take the hills off the ride when we needed to.
We conserved battery over the two days and with one recharge by peddling and only using the motor to take the hard grinds off the journey.
Front drive was chosen due to the issues with all the low hanging equipment on multi cass...Read more
ettes derailers with the three speed in hub gear being all we needed. Constraints were 3 YO knee replacement and untrained bottoms. Knee was fine. Bottoms had wine and beer applied afterward. Recovery after 1 day. Purchased from 99 bikes.Purchased in March 2021 at 99 Bikes SA, Mile End.

I'm 76 and can ride up the steepest incline effortlessly
My wife and I are retired and in our 70's. We live in Little Mountain, an area known for its extreme hills and wanted to do some riding with the option of using a motor to assist us get up hills. We also wanted a folding bike.
We considered Leitner and Tebco which both have good reviews but we weren't able to test ride, and not being in a capital city were concerned about warranty repairs.
99 Bikes have a local store so we test rode a Velectrix Foldaway and were immediately impressed by the standard of workmanship. Every component was heavy d...Read more
uty and the paint was thick. I normally find it impossible to sit on a bike saddle because I am getting boney ...as oldies do. But the comfort seat was actually comfortable. 99 Bikes took us through the basic features but it wasn't until we went on a real ride that we noticed the excellent design. I believe that the design is German. Our bikes are 200watt and can be ridden with pedal assist or a throttle like a motorbike. The kickstand looks like it belongs to a motorcycle and as I discovered, is fully adjustable to suit your preferred amount of lean. The luggage rack is as solid as a rock and integrated with the well fitted mudguards and bolted solidly to the bike frame. Tyres are puncture resistant and I believe have a ceramic layer between the tube and the tread. They also have a reflective stripes on the side walls for night time safety. Hand grips are comfortably contoured and heavy duty and the pedals snap into position when they are folded. LED headlights are very bright and designed to be used in daytime as well as night. The only problem is that they are angled slightly to the right for European road conditions instead of pointing towards the gutter. Although this is actually an advantage on bike tracks.

Please can someone help me with my Velectrix folding electric bike. Recently while pushing buttons I accidentally placed my speedometer into miles mode instead of kilometers. How do I change it to kms?

If you know which buttons you pressed you should just press it again. The readout should toggle between MPH and KMH.
I have pressed those blinkn buttons so many times, but no such luck. It is not that easy.
