I was skeptical when my mum presented me with this tv. Its the main tv for the main loungeroom. I was skeptical as i did not know the brand and the tv is cheap.
But i was very surprised. The tv is easy to use and has surprisingly good picture and sound quality. I find it to have better sound and picture quality than some expensive branded tvs.
Tv is still in warranty so i guess we will see how long it lasts

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my husband and I.. worked well for a month.
Now it won’t play DVDs even though there is nothing wrong with our DVD player.
The signal for digital tv is always playing up.
The remote signal is horrible. Don’t waste your time.

It's big it's cheap and it's useless. Worked for about a month then didn't want to do anything online. Maybe cheap processor?! Taking it back for a refund. The only thing I can say is that it was a good sized screen to play games on. Next time I'll get a brand name.

Well, the TV has great picture clarity, but soon after purchase, I was down to 5 channels and factory reset refused to work. Sent off, service and communication is terrible. No effort is made to inform you of TV status, where it is, when will it come back. No interest in making contact with customer. Frustrating, unhelpful, non communitive.

This Tv is the worst i have ever used, It wont do anything you ask it to, the remote is unresponsive, The processor on this tv must of been made by a high school student its very slow and laggy, Netflix is non responsive and wont respond and freezes.
Buyer beware purchase to experience miserable entertainment.
If i could give this tv minus -10 i would.......Its very cheap for a reason dont buy this Tv you will regret it.

This TV DVD combo is terrific for the use of the Caravan, although with poor reception in the areas we have camped we have only managed to get reception once, but the use of the DVD player installed into the unit suits us fine. Hoping with a better antenna we will be able to watch TV more often. The unit is light and is not fixed into place permanently in the Van is light enough to place up on a top shelf when not in use.

At first this tv was a pain and the issue with having 2 replacements was that the second one was defective out of the box... this happened years ago (possibly around 2014) and since then the one I have now is still kicking butt! Somehow still working perfectly fine after 4 odd years. It’s got a bit of rust in the ports but they still manage. This tv initially started its life for outdoor use but a big concern was that there are 3 mosquitos dead beneath the desplay close to the centre of the screen which was something I have never seen before fr...
Read moreom past tvs. After a year of owning it, it was moved to my room inside which I then used for gaming purposes. It still sits in the same spot 3 years later and there are very little to complain about. Obviously isn’t the most vibrant TV out there but gets the job done. There is no noticeable input lag so that isn’t a problem either. My other concern was that, since it is so old, is that USB movies are mostly unsupported and is very limited. It’s a very basic tv and I never knew which tv i owned (my parents bought it) until I stumbled across this page :) it’s currently coming to the end of its life as a new LG 55UK6540PTD will be taking its place. Gotta say, not a bad tv when it works as it should.- Date Purchased
Very dissatisfied with this garbage, plugged it in, powered it on, connected the device to HDMI 2 and the damned thing is turning off / stand by modeing every 5-45 seconds without fail.
Require an immediate fix or solution or we'll be getting this refunded as this is not acceptable for a brand new device.
Give help please.

Very bad remote control and worth costumer service just a person answering the phone and don't care about the costumer is not his business anyway. I purchased the 2 TV May 2014 from Big W and the 2 remote control didn't work within a couple of month called them and they send me 2 remote control three years later they didn't work again called costumer service on 23/11/18 sorry you have to pay for it 39.95 each the costumer service man don't care about any costumer at all. Why I pay for a remote knowing that it won't last with me, Bad Bad Viano very disappointing and very bad customer service my advice to any one don't buy that brand.

Hi I am sorry you feel this way thank-you for your feedback
Didn’t like it front the start. Can’t access Netflix anymore and won’t download Stan but can get both on other devices in our home. Programming doesn’t work most of the time so I have to flick through channels to see what is on. I’ve had to factory set quite a few times and tune in frequently. Also can no longer tune in our DVD which became my go to for the kids. Reading the other reviews I think I will cut my losses and buy a trusted brand. Not happy Jan !!

The price is the only good thing about it. The remote barely works and I have to stand very close for it to detect the remote. It’s slow and the sound is terrible. After maybe using this for about the 10th time it now won’t turn on. And I now have to take it off my wall and back to big w with receipt. Sooo inconvenient, you get what you pay for!!! Don’t bother buying this.

Nice easy and simple to use!
Pros:
Brilliant display, no complaints it does full 1080p which works perfect with my Xbox One.
Has a vesa mount for wall or desk mounting which I use.
Has a built in DVD player which works well.
Decent USB playback.
Stylish design.
Has lasted me about 3 years
Good customer service - I broke my first TV from them due to an accidental power surge and they gave me a brand new one free.
Cheap!

I should also add that if you intend to mount it you will need to purchase some shorter screws as the ones that come with most VESA mounts will be too long and cause the TV to be improperly mounted if...

We got one of these a while ago but it played up and needed a replacement recently. Lucky it was still under warranty. This new one has been great, it was cheap, has great sound and picture quality and is perfect for anyone wanting a big tv at a budget price

The TV broke down with in weeks of purchase the main board needed to be replaced. Whilst the product itself was faulty the customer service was really good just had to make a phone call and then drop the TV of at the repairer, really easy to deal with the whole warranty process was about 2 weeks from initial phone call to picking up TV,

Was happy enough with the picture (when it was still working). Sound a little tinny as speakers are at the rear. There is a port available to run external speakers. For the price I was happy.
At 4 months vertical black lines started to randomly appear on the screen. Rang Big W, they would only replace if it failed in the first few weeks. But would organise sending to Viano for repair. Rang Viano, said would honour warranty but if could not find a fault would cost me $110. So I persisted with it but now picture has gone completely.
At least I will get it repaired I guess but very inconvenient as only TV in the house.

The unit has enough ports. The remote control has new batteries and its still not working. The on button at the side of the TV isn't working. Really not happy with this TV. I will never buy this brand again. The manual has very little information are: troubleshooting for the FAQ’s my remote is not working, The advice is: change your batteries if it's still not working, use the button to turn on the T.V. Which no help at all if the on switch won't turn it on.

I have had this tele for about 12 mths now. The picture is very good. The sound quality is very poor, we can't seem to find an in between, It is too loud or not loud enough but paying only $400 for this size tele you could probably connect a cheap sound bar to combat this problem. I could not connect my older surround sound unit to this though I may be out of date.

Brought my viano tv on Boxing Day 2017, while over 3-4 months of having it, it would freeze and have different coloured lines appear. It stopped working and the screen was just black with a faint viano symbol. This is the worst tv I have had! I waited over a month and MANY phone calls for them to finally process it through so I can get my money back or a new tv. They have the worst customer service “you should have the email in 2 days” than hangs up (2 weeks later no email)

The TV stopped working with in 3 weeks of purchase . I tried to claim under warranty but the company consistently comes up with excuses as to why I can not claim a warranty. After months of proving I have all the correct documents and had followed the warranty procedures they now claim my Big W proof of purchase is to hard to read . Next step to resolve this issue will be the dept of fair trading . I will never purchase a Viano TV from Big W again.

I originally had this in the study but the wife made me put it in the spare room. Its a good second set - I wouldn't recommend it as your main TV though. Picture quality is good but not outstanding. If the movie has a lot of shadows and dark moments then things get a bit unclear. Sound too is average. Its listenable but a bit thin. Remote works well although changing channels is low at the start. Its a good second TV.
