I ordered 3 grillpans from their online store for saving shipping cost. They sent an email to me to ask call them. Usually other stores call me, not ask to call them. They said they have only 1, and they can refund only cost for other 2 grillpans. I asked refund for two grillpans and 2/3 of shipping cost, but they never answered. After 1 week they dispatched 1 grillpan. And without any excuse or explanation, they simply refunded only cost for 2 grillpans.
The shipping cost is small amount, but I was so unhappy because of their very rude and unprofessional customer service.

Have been trying to buy a frying pan (quality) to use on an electric stove-top and also put in oven. Normall retail price $209.95 bought it on special for $59.95.

Purchased goods for shipment interstate. Was skeptical after reading reviews. I received excellent service/assistance. Interstate shipping was prompt and well packed. Very positive experience.

If you know what you are getting, better come this place. Thermos product they offer the lowest in Sydney region that no where can be found or matched. And sometime if you check their website you can spot amazing deal on clearance goods.

The food cooked in this cookware turned black, including the sides of the saucepan. I made lentil soup with some ginger and lemon juice in this saucepan and turns out the metal is reacting with food.

Similar reaction with fruit purees made in this saucepan. Extremely poor quality product, I feel gutted. You buy something and trust it works normally only to find that it reacts with food and you may have been exposed to the dangers.

Just received my first online purchase from VB. I have never seen so much wasted packaging. Five items packed into an ENOURMOUS box that was filled with dreaded poly beads. What an environmental disaster. VB - you need to reduce your packaging because it determines how many of us shop.

Scales I bought that had a highly inflated RRP (will be lodging complaint with Fair Trading) were not of adequate quality. Refused refund.
Very rude staff. I was a recurring customer - they have lost my service.

on two different occasions bought items from victoria's basement, 1 was a coffee plunger and the other was salt and pepper grinders - BOTH completely failed within about 12 weeks. i can only conclude the quality of products on offer are of extreme poor quality, whilst dressed up with obviously outlandish RRP's...

Don't buy this product. Poor quality. First time use of the pot created cloudy and stain at the base which could not be washed and cleaned by normal dishwashing liquid. Request for an alternate product was turned down. Unfriendly manager who doesn't show professions and don't care if the customer gets the product satisfaction.

I bought an automatic knife sharperner for $82 on 16/8/16, one of the most expensive in the shop. The machine failed on the first use. I took it back to the shop and expect a full refund on DOA on 17/8/16. The store manager was totally rude and ruthless when dealing with me. She was yelling and refused a refund for the purchase. Reason being the machine has been used, even once, and it is warranty issue. I am totally disappointed with the so called store manager and I have had no choice but to walk away. I will never return to this store. Buyers beware.

Could not return $20 lid the next day. Credit given as an slip of paper. Expiry is only 6 months.

Absolutely atrocious refund policy. You effectively have to prove an item doesn't work! Purchased $225 induction friendly wok only to find it doesn't interface with stove (although website clearly states it does. Returned item in 4 days (I live 2 hours away) only to be told it has to be returned to supplier to prove it doesn't work. Unconscionable business practices. Complaint lodged with dept of fair trading.

They display massively discounted prices on their baby/christening range BUT 90% of it is not actually available. You have to click into every product to actually see that they are out of stock, everywhere else they still advertise and display them like they are available. They make themselves look cheaper that everyone else but most of the prices aren't even available anymore.

Have bought 2 quality products over last 3 years. Very good price and fast delivery. Had no problems at all. Am I lucky?
