Great budget priced dryer.
We have had the wettest year since I can remember and every load of washing needs to be put through the dryer. This dryer is no fuss, easy to use controls, simple wall mounting and the lint filter is removable for easy cleaning. It alternates the spin direction every minute which I think makes it dry more efficiently. Everything is going through it from delicates to towels and it is getting it done.
Purchased in at Betta Home Living for $399.

No frills but efficient dryer
I love my new Westinghouse 4.5kg vented dryer which I purchased when my old one blew up after 23 years. I am very happy with my purchase. There's no frills or fancy computerised buttons on this dryer so it's easy to use and with simple instructions. I love that it vents out the front which enables me to attach a small drying rack on the front to dry small delicate items I can't put in the dryer. I have a well ventilated laundry so didn't have it vented to the outside. My old one vented out the back which was very annoying but with this one you have a choice to do either. It's quiet, efficient and operates well. Very happy.
Questions & Answers
I want to know if the 4.5kg dryer has a stainless steel bowl?
Model no WDV457H3WB
Not sure Karen....it looks like an anodized material..Silver in colour but pretty sure not stainless steel...not shiny enough.
Having said that I've had mine for a few months now and I'm happy with it.
I have not used a tumble dryer before but would like to know if clothes shrink whilst tumbling through the cycle? I have used an air dryer but that has broken down after 60 ears and looking for another alternative machine.
GLee
Well certain things can shrink. You'd never put wool in for example, but if you generally follow clothing labels they'll say if clothes can be tumble dried. They are great for towels and things like that too.
