Bitterly disappointed
I painted some wheels in white knight Lace and ended up with micro blisters on all five rims.
The rims had been professionally grit blasted and primed and the were free of wax and grease.
I sprayed a light coat of paint and let that flash off before recoating.
I have not had problems with other brands but am bitterly disappointed in the product.
Unfortunately no one else had the same colour in spray cans.
Sorry White Knight you have lost me as a customer
Purchased in March 2021 for $11.00.

White Knight Squirts Paint & Prime - not recommended
I've been using White Knight's Squirts for years, with excellent results. Unfortunately, their new Squirts Paint & Prime is a very poor product in comparison. Not only is it more watery and prone to runs, it also micro blisters as well. I painted some steel brackets which will now have to be sanded off and repainted, using a different brand of paint. Sorry White Knight, after all these years, you've lost me as a customer.
Purchased in November 2021.

Really bad product
I bought cans of 'squirts paint & prime' from Bunnies to paint 4 Windsor chairs. The chairs were carefully sanded (eliminating most of the painting and exposing the beautiful timber) They were free of any remaining dust, ready to paint.
Unfortunately, applying the first coat was a nightmare. Can was shaked for several minutes. When spaying, i pressed the button firmly, kept the 15- 20 cm distance constantly moving the the can. However, I couldn't control blotches and there was some dripping from the button. To my surprise, the painting didn't ...Read more

Great product.
I've been using fiddly bits for years and havent had a problem with coverage.
Paint sediments can settle if sitting on shelf a long time.
Shake more if paint colour seems thin and oily,it usually comes good.
Heat can in the sun or hot water for a while for more even spraying and mixing.
I've just used a new can of purple on my spray paint art,the paint is squirting out from under the nozzle.Even interchangeing the nozzle doesnt fix it.
This is only the 2nd time this has happened in dozens and dozens of cans over years.
I know it will be replaced without question.

Really good stuff
I saw this online somewhere and decided to give an old ikea side table a once over before throwing it out - this worked really well - easy to spray and the colour worked a treat. Looking for other stuff around the house to spray now!

WHITE KNIGHT is the real deal. AAA RATING for PLASTIC METAL
im using real WHITE KNIGHT paint 2018 series.at $8 can, squirts is best bang for your bucks in a can.black, grey or fluro,it sticks like super-glue to plastic or old metal with minimum preparation.fast drying and does not scratch or peel on plastic or metal.dulux is over-rated.not sure how anyone could give a 1 star rating, must be using 10 year old spray can.

Doesn't do what it claims to do
Spend the extra $4-5 and buy Dulux or Rustoleum. This product DOES NOT adhere to the stated materials and coverage is extremely poor, even on a pre-primed surface (ignoring the fact this is a prime+paint product. Waste of money. I would never buy this product again. My piece of furniture is spoiled now, given such a shabby finish.

Best spray paint we have found for our projects
We have had nothing but trouble trying to paint mdf and ply especially red and green but discovered Squirts recently. It is by far the best paint we have used for these projects. Excellent coverage, gloss and drying time. I would recommend these paints with the addendum that painting mdf still needs a primer, the ply doesn't.

Save yourself the headache and stay away from these spray paints.
I purchased a heap of these paints from Bunnings to paint my guitar effects pedals I have been building and they are by far the worst spray paints I have ever used. First off, some of the colours are just wrong, I purchased a fluro blue which comes out navy/royal blue colour, and same for a fluro green, it just looks like a dull leafy green colour. I could live with that, but the product is absolute rubbish.
The nozzle design is terrible, you can NOT get a nice even coat with it and the paint wells up on the top of the can and goes all over...Read more
your hands and as I found out all over my pavers when I gave the can a shake while using it. On top of that, the quality of the paint is horrendous, I don't know if it is too much solvent or what but the paint runs like crazy even when doing much lighter coats than I have with other brand paints. I got a gloss metallic blue that is just impossible to use, I have tried twice and both times it runs even with the lightest coat and have had to sand blast the paint off. Do yourself a favour and stay away, even the cheap 'Fiddly Bits' paints which are 1/3 of the price are superior to the White Knight Squirts, unfortunately they don't have many different colours. I just wish I had read these reviews before I went and bought 7 cans of this stuff.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Shocking nozzle and paint blotches/runs!
I purchased this in Gloss Black to paint my 2Nd hand outdoor setting. It was impossible to control. Couldn't release the nozzle between passes as it was too hard to press and releasing meant having to stop to put enough pressure back on the nozzle. I ended up with shocking runs and blotches even though I tried to counteract it by passing quickly. The paint comes out too quick. A couple of days later I tried to rub dirt off from the rain and the rubbing left scratches. Don't waste your money on this product!

Just Garbage
I have just gone through several cans of Gloss Ivory Squirts paint purchased from Bunnings over the last 3 weeks.
Can 1: Painted OK. (Not great but acceptable for a spray can)
Can 2: Seemed to be more solvent that paint. Coverage was terrible and ran like crazy..... I assumed in this case the can had been sitting for some time and i did not shake it enough. I'll take that one on the chin.
Can 3: Shook well, (about 15 minutes) left it overnight than shook it again for 15 minutes. More paint cam from under the nozzle that went onto the pro...Read more
ject. (Seems to be a common fault. I emailed White Knight and the response was predictable. The acknowledge that there is a fault with the can and I should return it. They also advised that the paint should not be used at temperatures below 15°C as "At temperatures below this the internal pressure will be different which will affect the way the paint sprays." Note it is winter in Brisbane, however I estimated the temperature in my garage at about 18-19°C when i was attempting to use the paint. Can 4: Despite my better judgement i thought what the hey, and exchanged the leaking can. Yup, two for two. same leaking issue. I noted the temperature in my garage at 20°C before attempting to paint. This stuff is absolutely garbage. I will never use this brand again. Very disappointing given they are not charging the cheap Chinese import price, yet clearly this is the category it should be in.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Can leaks paint everywhere.
Spraycan nozzle design leaks paint everywhere. Will not buy again unless I know fault is rectified (shame Bunnings for selling this product as is!) If any form of quality control existed this problem would not have arisen.

Black hand...yuk
Really disappointed.
Nozzle must have been faulty because as well as spraying, it leaked under the spray button all over my hand and the object.
I will return can to Bunnings tomorrow, but that doesn’t salvage the project - or my Matt Black fingernails.

Utter Crap!!!
I've been using Squirts spray paint for 15 PLUS years, even spraying a complete car in my youth. This new formula is absolutely crap, it runs like you wouldn't believe, won't harden properly and is over all just CRAP!!!. Good one White Knight as you've lost another loyal customer, as it looks like I'm on a long list.

Worst paint ever
I have had to remove this paint job 2 times as it does not harden and dry properly. The slightest bit too much on a single application and, unlike other spray paints, no matter how long you leave it, it will not cure. Unusable rubbish. Never again.

Utter trash. Used to be so good
Never cures, sticks to itself if the two surfaces of the same paint come into contact. Caused me so many issues with my DT project, I just want to say a very directed F*** you to the people who changed the formula, be it Dulux paints or whatever.

Squirts takes a quality nosedive, now down with the rubbish brands.
I have been using Squirts paint for around twelve years to paint model engines and have been extremely happy with it and the results produced, with the old product I never had any issues with petrol spilling over it, always wiped off ok with no damage, but now with the new formula if petrol spills on it the paint just softens and wipes off, also the new nozzle give an orange peel effect instead of the great surface finish of the old product. You have lost me as a customer, such a shame to see a well respected brand ruined for the sake of cost cutting.

Changed product rubbish
I have been using Squirts to paint my road racing motorcycles and have had results that shock people they look so good, and are so durable. First time I used a matte black can with the new nozzle it smelt funny and wasn't any where near as good as the old matte finish. The gloss colours I have now used with the new nozzle also are rubbish with fish eyes appearing on the same surface with the same prep I have used before, and paint that rain drops at 180km/h removed like big stone chips...Mt fairings painted with the old paint are still great after 2 years racing...Bloody shame another brand ruined by buying cheap chinese rubbish...And worse the shameful attitude of ignorance...You have lost me

clashed
Color was not matching cap grey when a white paint emerged. it was quite disturbing a product that wouldn't suit any professional application when a color matches. Why they don't provide an elephant grey that was standard color in the industry made years ago.it is going to cost me to rectify re application of paint to start at beginning.

Thanks for caring about your customers and replying to our questions NOT!
Has anyone from the company actually bothered to Google their own brand and see the reviews getting written here? I see many more annoyed customers that have been having similar problems to what i wrote in my review last year. The list of annoyed customers is growing and your sales must be going downhill. Does anyone care about this business? Why not change back to the original formula before it's too late? Whatever you gained by changing the formula I doubt it has worked well for business. I'm still left waiting for answers and still haven't found a decent replacement paint. Thanks for caring.

I caved and bought a name brand, I think it was Dulux. Maybe you do still get what you pay for
I've tried Dulux and it's not as good as the old Squirts was for a number of reasons in my opinion. If I could find a brand that is as good I'd make the switch no problem but I'm still trying to find one. The stuff at Masters is pretty poor as well. I can't believe how many different formulas and thinners there are. I think they are all switching over to safer or cheaper formulas or better for the environment whatever. If only they used the paint everyday or at least ask someone who does before they make these stupid decisions without warning us.
I'm getting on ok with British paints from Bunnings. A few colours are a bit dodgy, but on the whole, way better than squirts.
