Faulty Product
Opened new can and the nozzle does not work! Emailed White Knight Paints with the batch number thinking they would take product faults seriously... and investigate! Ahhh no... was told it was unusual and to take it back to where you purchased it from, it is their responsibility! No apology or thanks for bringing this to our attention...
To say the least our business will not be purchasing this RUBBISH again and will be moving to a reputable competitor brand (with customer service).

Cannot get even coats
I'm using the HI Temp product, and you cannot get even, consistent sprays, regardless of shake time. I had to scrap the whole project. Waste of the $20 : (

I can't believe how the quality has slipped.
I've been using this paint for over ten years, averaging around twenty cans per month. Recently they changed the quality of the paint and nozzles. I can't believe how the quality has slipped. I noticed on the can they're now made in China. Could this be the reason? Is it worth losing sales and customers to save a few cents? Very, very bad decision.
Previously, I'd paint one side, leave it overnight then flip it over and paint the other side. All dry and good next morning. Not any more. Now the first side hasn't dried enough so it gets mar...Read more
ks from the board which means I need to re-paint. This is having a hugely negative impact on my business. I'll now need to find a new paint. You honestly had a great product but now it's crap. If it's at all possible, change back!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

cannot believe how much it has changed
I did some spray painting a few years ago with the old satin black product it was perfect, a nice slightly matte finish, i brought the new squirts satin black could not believe the difference in the finish, it is now so glossy and thin i can get the same quality for half the price from other paints.

Squirts can spray gone downhill
I use to be very impressed with the perfect cover and finish I could get with the squirts can sprays. Now though with the new nozzles it has gone downhill badly as the spray is very uneven. Bring back the previous nozzles please!

Paint quality changed, now terrible
I have been using White Knight Squirts for years, and until today I would have rated them 5/5.
There clearly has been a big change in the paint and nozzles on these cans. The Satin Black which has given a nice matte finish for years came out glossy and thick today in fine spraying conditions. I would not trust this paint again, it has turned out to be terrible.

Apparenntly a change in formula has wrecked a good product
I've been using Squirts for finishing off various small pieces, usually in some kind of wood for a few years now in various colours, all high gloss. My practice has been to spray a coat, then wet sand, spray/sand until there are about 4 coats and it has always ended up a very smooth, glossy, and quite tough finish. I ran out of a can of white I'd had for about 18 months and bought a new can from Bunnings to finnish the job.
The new can had a different nozzle and smelt different, but went on well and dried off quickly, as before. But after 2 ...Read more

Squirts is now rubbish, changed recipe is no good
I've been using this paint for over ten years now and recently they changed the quality of the paint and nozzles. I've just got off the phone to them and they don't seem to care about customer feedback or opinion. It was a decision that came down from management. These 'managers' have probably never used a spray can in their life and if they had they would realise how bad the new formula is. It smells completely different and sprays out thin like a cheap paint I can get for half the price. They expect us to just put up with this. Once agai...Read more
n a good product has been ruined by management decisions. After ten years using Squirts I will now have to look for an alternative. I just wish I hadn't bought so many cans, what a waste of money. You're better off using Australian Export brand or some other cheap paint from Super Cheap Auto rather than the expensive squirts cans from Bunnings. This is going to seriously effect my business, especially with so much work leading up to Christmas. Thanks PPG!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Easy effective excellent
I've done Lot of furniture restorations, from painting to completely tearing things apart and rebuilding. I used squirts on a frame I recently wanted to change color! I Slightly sanded my frame and voila it looks brand new! Better in fact because I have done it and made it personal!!
Easy to use, not much over spray
Nothing

poor quality
Cans are prone to faults that cause large leaks of paint. Paint thickness varies a great deal from one can to the next. The customer care services provided by White Knight doesn't seem to care about any feedback and are more than happy to blame faulty cans on the consumer.
Unrecommended; very poor product. If you are looking for cheap, there are cheaper better brands around; if you are looking for good; then certainly don't settle for squirts
there was a wider range of colours for this brand at the hardware i went to
too often the cans are faulty

Thanks for caring about your customers and replying to our questions NOT!
Has anyone from the company actually bothered to Google their own brand and see the reviews getting written here? I see many more annoyed customers that have been having similar problems to what i wrote in my review last year. The list of annoyed customers is growing and your sales must be going downhill. Does anyone care about this business? Why not change back to the original formula before it's too late? Whatever you gained by changing the formula I doubt it has worked well for business. I'm still left waiting for answers and still haven't found a decent replacement paint. Thanks for caring.

I caved and bought a name brand, I think it was Dulux. Maybe you do still get what you pay for
I've tried Dulux and it's not as good as the old Squirts was for a number of reasons in my opinion. If I could find a brand that is as good I'd make the switch no problem but I'm still trying to find one. The stuff at Masters is pretty poor as well. I can't believe how many different formulas and thinners there are. I think they are all switching over to safer or cheaper formulas or better for the environment whatever. If only they used the paint everyday or at least ask someone who does before they make these stupid decisions without warning us.
I'm getting on ok with British paints from Bunnings. A few colours are a bit dodgy, but on the whole, way better than squirts.

Against my better judgement I bought a can of Squirts but fortunately read your review before using it......will be returning it for a tried & true brush on paint. Many thanks Gruntie.
