Think again if you really want to use this company
We ordered a retractable bedroom screen door. Nothing special. We ordered in early January 2020 and finally it was installed a few days ago. We waited nearly 3 months. I rang several times and was fobbed off with answers that were not acceptable. I had to do the chasing up.
Wynstan, you have lost me now as a customer. You need to get your act together and when you make a promise stick to it, and be honest with your answers to customers.
By the way, the installer was excellent and very professional so I need to rate him 10/10.

So Disappointed, Endless Problems.
1 Simple pull down blind amongst other problems.
* 5 months later Wynstan are still trying to get a simple pull down blind right. Was incorrectly measured, made and installed......and reinstalled.....and still incorrect.
* This pull down blind still misaligned so door cannot be opened without chipping wall.
* Ugly & unfinished looking bracket to same blind.
* Sliding screen door had a thick unsightly bar running horizontal at waist height. Was not communicated to me in quote. Installer removed it - but I now have drill holes in sliding door.
* 2 bifold incorrectly installed to quote - separate issue.

await their 3rd attempt to hang successfully one 45cm pull down blind on a door. A cover to ‘finish off’ the ugly unfinished looking metal bracket also would be much appreciated.

Disappointed with numerous aspects
In early 2018 we ordered shutters for entire house. After extended delays and excuses, the shutters eventually arrived some months late. Note they came from China despite contributor Ronald S comment that they are Australian made. Most of the shutters were faulty in some way - from warped blades to loose blades to broken catches on blades. Excessive gaps on sides and ill fitting mitres on surrounds. Replacements ordered and on arrival were no better than originals. Third lot ordered...same story. Various visits from technicians....Directors adv...Read more
ised that they were up to their standards. Now 18 months later they tell us we shouldn't have ordered traditional centre bars !!! So here we are with sunlight and streetlighting entering when not required. We had a competitor product in the past with no such problems. Painful experience
Got Wynstan out to quote for two screens and a sliding door. Months later, they turned up to install (on the third attempt after they cancelled twice) and two out of three items were wrong. One was the entirely wrong product, the other just didn't fit.
A couple more months later and the second screen finally got fitted, told them not to bother remeasuring for the door.
Then I had the pleasure of teaching the guy from head office simple maths to get refunded the excess I had paid.
I could not in good conscience recommend them for anything.

Australian made blinds no China delays0
Wynstan blinds replaced my 20 year old plantation shutters. I visited their store and saw Australian made shutters. Yes more expensive than the Chinese but they come with a 20 year warranty. Their representative came out on 23 December the man who was going to install them Ronald came out on a Sunday to do the fit out measurements. The shutters were installed on time the ones from China now have a 12 week delay (friends are on that wait list). The shutters are perfect . Ronald worked out solutions to several awkward windows and was meticulous.
Don't fall for the China trick go to Wynstan and get the Australian .

Very bad service - Not worth the money
Wynstan installed Fly screen in my apartment. It is not good quality first of all as per the price they charged. Door came off and nobody is coming to fix.

expensive and poor workmanship
We had crimsafe doors and windows installed at our house in Avalon a few years ago. We also had plain screens installed in one bedroom and one screen fell out and wont stay in as the clips dont appear to align. Particularly disappointing as we always try to use Australian companies.

safe fixed windows, we didnt realise or have the intelligence to ask, before orderng that it was not possible to clean the windows. Had this been pointed out to us, we would not have gone ahead with the crimsafe option. Would it be possible to have someone come out to remove them and just have them fitted like normal screens, rather than fixed. We would of course expect to pay for this service.Similar opinion? Not worth the money!
The installers and the workers who quote don't communicate with each other. Our out-door blind is not the products that was requested during the quoting process. We only found this out after 3 extra visits to install the products as the parts that were sent were incorrect.
Although they showed up with the incorrect parts we felt bullied into finalising payment and signing that the job had been completed, stating that if we didn't he was going to pull all the products off the walls.
Our crime safe was not installed correctly and were also left with a front door that we were unable to lock.
The whole process has not shone the company in good light. I would NOT recommend using Wynstan at your house.

Never use Wynstan Blinds
Wynstan Blinds Don’t Ever Use Them.
A short story, Wynstan Blinds where contracted to put screen doors in 33 apartments at my complex. It took them 2 months to do what should have taken no more than 5 days, The installation was of such poor quality that the closers have all but fallen off, the door handles are breaking off and the hinges are coming off the frames. Satisfied with service and product
We purchased 2 crimsafe doors in December and received a discount for waiting on the installation till after Christmas. The staff were responsive, polite and delivered on everything promised. We were happy with the quality, installation and customer service. Thanks Unanderra Wynstan

Poor process leads to mistakes
Pretty disappointed, ordered blinds, they missed an entire window and the kitchen wasnt even measured correctly.
When i first got the quote I had said the lounge window was required but the 2nd guy who came out to do measurements didnt do the lounge window. This very frustrating situation could be avoided if they wrote what windows are being measured instead of just quoting 5x mesh screens.
Kitchen screen had large gap so the installer had to screw in a peice of wood to block it. Still a small gap remains. Photos attached

Worst experience of service and follow up
6/1/20 We ordered Security doors in 3 rd week of November and guaranteed installation before xmas -Salesman /measurer was very good did measurements -When ordered - was told before xmas verbally and by email - when following up as we wanted to go away - they did not know when - after 6 calls still no information given - requested to speak to a manager -Which they dont have in stores - got on to Sydney main office and they still could help me -Complete unprofessional approach - no one would call you back - then product came in 19/12 and advis...Read more

Complete fraud
We ordered blinds and fly screens one month before Christmas and was assured that we would get our blinds and fly screens installed before then. My husband rang multiple times with no reply or reply and never a follow up, as soon as the sale was put through we were completely left in the dark!! Me and my husband are now fighting as to why we decided to go to Wynstan after reading their horrible reviews, how can it be fair that the customer and subcontractor loose our because of the measures and Wynstan... the subcontractor advises to us that this happens all the time, and they don’t get paid to revisit for some one else’s fault. By the sounds of it Wynstan want their dirty hands in everything, they take on work they can’t back up or do then of load of their problems onto their subcontractor. When we spoke to customer service we were advised we would loose our 50% deposit if we were to cancel our order as we have got a new company to come out and do a simple job... very disappointed.. Worst experience for a primium price
2 doors came in wrong direction and have to return to factory, although Wynstan tech took the measurements himself. After waiting 3 weeks for the new doors to come, the installation of the main house door was of very poor quality. So many issues, as the door tube on the top falls out every time you open or close the door. Wynstan's false advertising
Just a couple of months prior to Christmas, Wynstan ran a massive advertising campaign about booking before a certain date to get installation before Christmas. Good Experience
I recently purchased a Wynmotion roller blind and the experience was good from pre-sales to installation.
They were upfront about installation and ongoing costs such as warranty call out fees. All dealing with Wystan staff were polite and professional.
Even though it wasn't necessary, I would recommended researching some basic questions such as, time frames, warranties/call outs and where products are manufactured as with most companies like Wynstan, things can go wrong and delays happen.
I would definitely use Wynstan again.

Warranty non service
After waiting 29 weeks and 1 day for 9 blind to be installed, I now find that 1 blind ia faulty and requires a repair. I am told by there customer service department it would be at least 7 weeks before anything can be done. Customer service NON existence.

Buyer be warned
I had my $980 crime safe door installed 2017. I called the Baulkham Hills store today because I have been having problems with the lock, the lady said that there is a $70 fee to come out. Also she mentioned that it could be caused due to hot weather.really.? I was not aware of this at the time of installation. The man said that I had a 10year warranty on the door and 5 on the lock. Nothing was mentioned that I needed to pay for him to come out for a faulty lock. Buyer be ware.. thank goodness I never got them out for my blinds. Its sad to see once money is exchanged they really dont care. Will never recommend these people to family and friends. Nothing was offered to resolve this issue even though it is still under warranty.

Initial problems but they made up for it
After some initial problems in ordering of materials and getting started, the Wynstan customer complaints department stepped in and made sure that the project progressed smoothly. The installer was pleasant and keen to do a good job.

There are so many bad reviews for Wynstan... Anyone dealt with Hoppers Crossing Wynstan? How do they compare with their competitors (MSD Security and Hi-Light)? Does Wynstan have their own full time employees (fitters etc) or do they contract casuals to do the job? Thanks

Honestly, Just stay away from them. they are terrible operators. the way they treated my wife with their apparent head office customer service team is disgusting. The way they (male customer service) spoke to my wife was disgusting and left her really upset. That tells you everything you need to know about these scumb bags. Look for a family run business who actually care and know your money will be spent on helping kids go to school or pay a mortgage or anything you would do with your family.
All r same ... Bad Service and take too long to respond.
Don’t do it.... Trust me, save yourself the pain...

If that was experience leave it but knowing this company they’ve asked for you to remove it hahahaha nothing surprises me about these people. You had a bad experience and others should know, even if they fixed the issues, you still had to go through pain to have it fix.
