Too expensive for the money ($4000+).
Much better than the 2000 but still will not run a genuine 3000watt load! Needs remote start for overload situation as standard. Doesn't like dusty roads at all! Had to pull into a Yamaha Dealer at Port Hedland and remove the Economy Mode toggle switch because it would not operate because it was clogged with dust. Dealer was fantastic! I think it was called Pilbera Boats and Bikes.

Overload problem
It's a good generator, but it does not quite meet expectations. Its name implies a 3kva machine, but it has difficulty supplying 2.5kva. When overloaded, it does not stop. It no longer supplies power, but the motor keeps running until the fuel runs out. It is necessary to manually stop the motor and restart it. If one is not paying attention, it can be hours before it is noticed that no power is being supplied.!
Quiet, inverter.
Does not stop when overloaded.
