This will make you want to BBQ again!

published

Using the barbeque used to be dreaded as cleaning all the fat off it afterwards is an unenviable and arduous task. With this little BBQ at your service, you get a nice compact BBQ suited for all occassions, be it home or picnic ground, just connect up to a LPG bottle and you're away. It's small so you cant cook much at once, but it cooks food very well, gives it a nice smoky authentic BBQ taste. Getting an LPG bottle can be pricey which is the only reason why I havent used mine as much. Highly recommend.

Not big enough

published

This barbecue works very well for my needs. I can light it up and cook up steaks, chicken. It's easy to use and turn on with a quality starter, as opposed to the outdated and unreliable starter that uses a AA battery on the Weber. But it is not enough for a meetlover.

Fantastic little device!

published

This barbecue works very well for my needs. I can light it up and cook up steaks, chicken, and the like and it feels very safe to the touch. It does take some time to clean but overall i'm quite pleased with the way the device works & drains oil.

Best brand and superior to other brands

published

BBQ is sturdy, easy to use, and mostly importantly easy to clean! Ive had a few bbqs but never tried this brand and I was surprised as to how easy it is to keep clean in comparison. Pretty much has replaced my oven for everything, roasts, pizzas, chicken wings etc

I can't live without this bbq

published

The Ziegler and Brown BBQ is fantastic. When I was in the market for a new BBQ I compared the Weber Q to this as my brother in law has the Weber and the the review of this was so much better. Easy to use and low maintenance very easy to clean. I use it on a weekly basis highly recommend it.

Great for big bbqs

published

We purchased the Ziggy as we have a balcony and would like to entertain guests when they come over in summer etc.

So far the bbq has been great and is so convenient to use. The Ziggy is great because of the portability of the bbq and is easy able to be unmounted from the dock and can be carried into the car etc if you plan on going out.

No issues with cooking and has always cooked meat to perfection. A likely alternative to similar makes on the market.

Doesn't get anywhere near hot enough

published

Simply not enough heat. Very disappointed. Just spent 20k on my outdoor area and now have a BBQ that can't cook a steak the way you want it. Watched the video which suggests you can cook a pizza but does not heat above 190 degrees. Would love a refund on it.

Nicer but Expensive like the Webers. luxury item, small in a cute way.

Twin Grill ok for max of 4 people (real food not snags) Portable size. Well made but Not perfect re drip catcher (too small) 2 months old and needs cleaning a lot! i roasted 1.7kg Lamb and 2.1 kg Xmas ham easily-nice as my 1st Ever. 5-600 grams gas used. Cute packaged c trolley.. what's this smoker I never heard about? Temp Guage on lid is essential. Designed for BBQ Galore. Will it last tho? Hose 1-2 mm too big for my Gas Fuse tho.... why?

So far so good

published

purchased the twin burner model last week. I was undecided between the Weber 2200 and the Zigler and Brown twin. I decided that as Zigler gave me a 14 day money back satisfaction guarantee, i would give it a go. so im now 3 days in and have used 3 times. french toast = great. burgers with eggs and veg and buns=great, pizza=great. For me, the big diff between this and the weber is that i can use this with the lid up. i much prefer to cook a burger/chop/steak and be able to look at it. thats part of bbq'ing. So, as far as i can see, this is a really good product but clearly not cheap at $469 PLUS the extras. although its basically the same price as a weber. im yet to try a roast but i have little doubt it will turn out well.

Beats a Webber Any Day

published

Love our Ziegler & Brown just the right size for a unit balcony, we prefer cooking on the BBQ over using pans in the kitchen and use it several times a week. I think the model has changed a bit since we bought ours but we would definitely buy another one. Ours has sat on a unit balcony unprotected and close to the beach for a few years now and it has held up very well.

Nothing better then the smoky taste.
Love it.
Easy to use and clean after use.
Little so I can take it anywhere.
Very versatile and stores easily in a large plastic container with lid. Bought separately.
Love the smoker device. Subtle and easy to use with DVD and manual instructions.
Wouldn't be without it...!

What a BBQ "WOW"

published

We looked at them all and nothing compares. The even heat of cooking makes it a dream, the steaks are perfect and it is so easy to clean. Just cooked a 2kg chicken in 1.5 hrs and it was to die for, so juicy and tender.

The temperature was extremely easy to regulate and thermometer made this so easy.

Buy one we are not disappointed at all.

Great BBQ

published

This bbq would have to be the best I have ever owned. The way the hot plates are individually set so you can mix up the grill with hot plates is a fantastic idea. The beauty then is that you can throw these into the dishwasher afterwards. The way this bbq cooks chicken, meat and fish is brilliant. Highly recommend to pay the extra money for a quality product

Not great!

published

I have cooked some delicious roasts in this BBQ. Beef, lamb and pork. All guess work. The Ziggy will not hold a constant temperature; you are constantly fiddling with the knobs to keep it thereabouts. When it looks right, it is. I just cooked a couple of scotch fillet steaks. For some reason, it just won't get hot enough for grilling. I ended up finishing the steaks in a frying pan in the kitchen. If I had my time over, I wouldn't buy this product again. As an out-door oven it is pretty good. As a BBQ, it leaves a lot to be desired.

easy to clean, lightweight and great to transport

published

Easy to light. that's one of my biggest pet peeves is taking too long to light up. I start to get a little paranoid when the gas is on and it hasn't lit yet, worried I am setting up an explosion lol. but I'm happy with the performance. Would recommend.

Great, Compact BBQ

published

Best BBQ ever used, including large expensive ones. Great heat, easy to clean, and safer with kids around with the heat guard. Better than the webers as you can use individual burners at the same time to cook with different temps. Also able to cook with the lid open still with plenty of heat. Have cooked two roasts at the same time!!

Great bbq, small and convinient and food value for money.

published

Very easy to use, cleaning process is like a normal ba so nothing special. Size is perfect for a small balcony but you can also cook for a lot of people. There was a range of colours to choose from, doesn't have to be red like all the photos advertise, we got silver to match with all other appliances.
