i have a Zodiac LM3 salt water chlorinator. Has been working well for many years. Just lately it will turn itself to minimum (steady yellow light) and the low salt comes on as well. Just checked the cell and the salt level is just under the 6000. I can get it to work again by pressing the superchlorinate button, but I can't always be there to do that. Any suggestions?

The zodiac tri batteries are hard wired in to the circuit board. There are places that change them for about $100. Designed so you cant just replace a battery yourself.

I have Zodiac Tri V2 about 5 years old. Last week when I tried to access the timers to increase run time, the menu displayed but I could not select timers or clock or help. Red light below boost was on and on main screen current time & OFF. disconnected chlorinator for 24 hours and ran pump directly from power outlet. When I reconnected after 24 hours everything worked. pump running according to timer for last 4 days Today I wanted to add salt run the filter longer but I have the same problem where I cannot access the timer or anything else although the menu display does appear. Can anyone offer advice as to why this is happening?

I have a Zodiac Tri chlorinator and pH controller/acid dispenser via peristaltic pump; I feel it is in good order with motherboard replaced about 18 mo ago and a new peristaltic tube recently. Normally the acid container is placed on the ground about level with the acid delivery tube entry point. Twice in the last week it appears pool water has flowed back into the acid container and raised its level about one quarter; so last night I p[lace the acid container on a somewhat higher level, about 800 mm above ground level. The latter action resulted in the acid level in the container going to zero overnight; thus it appears either the pump was turned on for much of the filter running time (5 hours) or the acid was being siphoned into the pool return line via the acid entry point. Has anyone had any experience of siphoning through the peristaltic pump - both ways ?? Any other views to a solution appreciated. Cheers Paul

Zodiac Tri chlorinator comes up with Output Fault when it's running. Turn it off and on again and the fault goes away but comes back some time later.
I measured the current to the cell and it's 4.3 A, so it seems to be working.
What could be wrong ?
Cheers

Now the display is blank, on/off does nothing, no output to cell.

Hi Pencil R,
Yes you may need more salt. If you have done that already there may be an issue with the chloriantor itself. [Content Removed]

I have an older Zodiac TRI chlorinator, i came home from a weekend away and there is another no flow error, red light and pump not turning on. Usually in the past the fault will display but the pump always works. Lights are on the board and the pump. I had the board rerurbished through my pool shop, I believe he sent it through to Zodiac approximately a year ago. What could be causing this problem? I've checked the leads to the cell, the pump appears clear and no blockages in the basket
