I waited to receive some customer service. Another bloke rolls in his bike and the staff member looks at me and gives a halfhearted apology and bolted to the bike guy. Went to a competitor, a few doors down, and walked away happy as a pig in poo

Bad customer service at the Kawana store Queensland They were very wrong in what they did to me .
Called to inquire about a product, the young boy on the phone told me the price $99 and I asked if I could pick it up the next day so it was put aside. I went in to pick it up and was told it was $120. as I need to join their club to get it for the $99 even the website had $99 and the boy I talked to never mentioned that to me on the phone. The manager did not even talk to me to hear my side of things, he was very abrupt and just said" it was $120. and that is it" and walked off. The next salesperson then argued. y was complaining about there customer service and told me that she had spent thousands of dollars there over the year and she will never buy from them again. Kawana 99 Bikes I will be tell all my local friends about this and recommend not to go there. I ended going across the road to Anaconda and purchased a better quality one for $159.Similar opinion? Poor service
went in to store - sub level service -quoted over the rrp price for a bike carrier - couldn't tell me the differences when asked - sent an email via 99 bike website - no response - awesome, not!!!!!! what a biking community????

Customer service Ok.. Product very average..
Bought a new bike that had a different spec than what was advertised. Didn't know that the componentry was slightly downgraded until I took it home (wheelset and crank). 99bikes offered to take bike back if not happy after complaining about spec... I thought I would hang on to it because I really wanted to try it out after upgrading some of the components (mistake).. Went to swap out the crank and who ever installed it (99bikes?) had MASSIVELY over done the tension and it was almost impossible to undo. Finally managed to undo the bottom bracket...Read more
/ cranks and install newer, lighter model.. Then came the cluster on the rear wheel.. Again, whoever installed it had massively over tightened it.. So much so that myself and LBS could not budge it.. Basically, the wheel is stuffed coz nobody will ever be able to replace the cluster for upgrade for worn out purposes.. Unfortunately 99bikes is that little too far away to keep running backwards and forwards with these issues so a new rear wheel has been ordered (upgrading from 11speed to 12 speed).. So freaking annoying..

Repairs: Customer service
Staff have been great when purchasing but guys in the repair shop nothing but short in manner and RUDE!!! And am totally in shock that they get away speaking to customers this way. Step it up guys, we come in for repairs not to torment your day.

Crap Service and crap warranty
Bought a Bmx bike just over 3 months ago and the frame snapped - Warranty 90 days on main frame - go figure - other bike shops are 5 years to a life time. Have been in a few times when no one else around and they let you wait while they have a chat with each other or completely ignore you. 1st bike service for free - no cost $30. Do not recommend this shop at all go elsewhere.
