Service par excellence
After purchasing 4 bikes from Blackburn from very helpful staff we came up for our free 3 monthly service. After having had a pleasant experience during the purchase process, Andy in the service area took our experience to a new level. He had all the bikes prepared in the time-frame he quoted which meant he was working late at night.

Awesome service!
On Saturday I walked into 99 BIkes Artarmon, there was a cue, however I was met with speed and a smile. The salesmen 'Rod K' got all 3 items I needed hooked up and ready to go in about 5 mins. What is normally a slow and painful process was fast (which I love as I am very impatient) as well professional and well priced. I walked out able take my family on a ride with my new bike rack, bike and pump. Thanks Rod! I won't be going to another bike store again.

Excellent Trade In Amount & Friendly Service
I highly recommend 99 Bikes at North Lakes. I traded in my previous bike on a new one. Am more than happy with the amount given. The service was excellent and Chris was very helpful answering my questions. If you are thinking of trading in your bike and want professional friendly service I would not go anywhere else.

Waiting for service
Unless you have ample time to waste don't go to Everton Park 99 bikes. 2 customers before me waiting outside as only 5 customers in store at 1 time. Waited 25 minutes and not 1 customer came out if you can't serve a customer in 25 minutes you need better staff. My money will be spent at a bike shop online with express post. Wont go there again.

Profiteering
Bought two new bikes for the kids from here a couple of months back, unfortunately one of them got stolen. Took my kid back to the store to get a new bike to replace the stolen one to be told the price had gone up from 499 to 649, the salesman was happy to explain that the price rise was due to Covid and the demand it has caused. I mentioned the stolen bike and asked if we could get a deal as it was the third bike we would be buying in three months but got nowhere with that. Obviously this company ( this branch anyway) is more concerned with profiteering from the current crisis than it is with maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. I won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone else either.

Always helpful
Staff here are always helpful and know their stuff. These additional words are because the review system said I had to write a minimum of thirty words which I now have.

Terrible customer service
Dropped my bike off for what I thought was a routine service has now turned into a 9 week saga due to them damaging my forks. I only just got my bike back but still waiting for new forks to arrive to make it safe to ride. It’s been frustrating as they have not communicated enough throughout this process.

Exchange policy is 5 STAR
Buying a mid range road bike can be daunting at the best of times so you can imagine my surprise when (Mitch) the mechanic/salesperson greeted me with a smile and warm welcome. Mitch was very helpfull in taking me through a full range of bikes and options of sizes suitable for my needs and took the time to put pedals on no less than four different bikes and let me take them for a decent run.
I chose the Merida Scultura 4000 after reading reviews and posts from other cyclists. Being a club member assured me of a decent discount and I rode away h...Read more

Worst service ever
99 bikes store O'conner PERTH 6163.
Went to get a tube replacement for a tire, 5 staff and not one person would help. "Told to stand at the tube replacement area and to wait... 15 minutes past no one has helped (we all have better things to do than to wait and 1 of 4 customers) Two employee even has the time to play and pat with a dog for 5 minutes.
If you need a bike go to a store that actually valve their customers and their time. We spend $2000 at this store.

customers pets and ignoring your customers more important? Also your phone never gets answered. Whoever owes this store should consider better management as you are losing a lot of customers to your ignorant/unproductive staff.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not fulfilling the promise
Their 5% price beat guarantee is not correct. I gave this website https://www.roofrackstore.com.au/yakima-fullswing-bike-carrier-8002465-p-411756.html for Yakima Full swing with a sydney store in matraviile. If they can only price match, I wouldn't have wasted my time going to Artarmon, while the other store offered the price including FREE DELIVERY. The competitor meets the 99 bikes criteria -> https://www.99bikes.com.au/price-beat

Great old-time customer service which is so lacking in so many other places these days
I had a puncture repaired several weeks ago and I purchased a small hand pump.
As I have bad arthritis in my hands I could not work the pump.
Last week I had another puncture which I cannot repair because of arthritis.
I asked if I could return the unopened pump and take the price off the cost of the lastest repair.
Very happy to go in today and be greeted by friendly staff and the cost of the second repair covered by the cost of the pump.
No arguments. Just plain olden days great customer service that us older people do not always receive. Every staff member I dealt with was happy and the warehouse was enforcing social distancing.

Customer service the worst I have ever experienced
I often give positive feedback so I don't feel bad when circumstances require constructive feedback. Macgregor has a particular employee who has the worst approach to customer interaction that I have ever experienced, and for this, I will never return to that store. It was so bad that I attempted to get in touch with management through their internal escalation procedure, yet management didn't even have the courtesy to acknowledge my feedback/concerns.
Also, beware of 99Bikes' general approach to consumer rights. Macgregor sold a product which ...Read more

I got what I was looking for . Friendly service from confident, experienced personnel.
I was looking for particular inner tubes with car valves and found them straight away with no fuss or confusion . The assistant was helpful as soon as I walked in the door.

Helped a little boy with a busted BMX
My twelve-year-old boy had a BMX with a buckled chain and a few other problems. We got to the workshop door in Bondi Junction and were told, because of the sudden rush of biz due to COVID and everyone wanting bikes, we'd have to wait until Monday to get the bike looked at. The mechanic asked what was wrong, we told him, and he said he'd fix it on the spot. Took him ten minutes or so. While he was working I watched the other mechanics all diligently, and expertly, fixing bikes. When the bike was ready, I handed him my credit card. He waved it away. Legend. Kid stoked. Bike fixed. Free.

Best customer service
After going to every bike store in Canberra, we were blown away by the fantastic customer service at Mitchell. Great advice was given and nothing was too much trouble, they spent heaps of time answering all our questions. At some stores we visited, staff did not want to be bothered with us and looked annoyed and impatient when we asked questions. That was their loss as we bought two great bikes at Mitchell. Will never go anywhere else.

Poor customer service experience
My wife purchased her bike at 99 bikes years ago, so went back when she wanted a kids seat for our baby to ride with her. After showing a staff member photos of her bike, she was sold the wrong model rack for her bike, which didnt fit. I took it back and exchanged it for another model. I still couldn't get it to fit after following the instructions, so took it back again. After waiting 25mins to see a staff member, I was told that "they fit every bike". When I asked if they could show me how to fit it correctly, I was told "not today mate". The...Read more
staff member actually suggested trying using one fastener instead of two (as per the instructions) on the under seat brackets to increase their effective length. I was then directed around to the mechanic, who was also quite dismissive "you just have to try different combinations of brackets to get it to fit, good luck". His tone was condescending. I ended up getting the baby seat rack to fit the bike only after using a combination of parts that went against what the instrruction booklet said (the mechanic's suggestion). I understand that the staff concerned were busy, but that's no reason to be dismissive and/or rude to your customers.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
