Four bedroom interstate move to Queensland with 3 months in storage. Great pickup, great comms, great drop off. Quick kitchen pack from two great ladies. Been with others before, but this was the best move ever and there’s been a few!

we recently used allied to move from
Melbourne to Sydney and paid a premium price to do so. From the start the service of this company has been poor. We were never provided the correct pick up time or date of arrival for furniture. Having children and my wife with me we have had to incurr substantial accomodation costs because allied could not deliver our furniture when promised on Friday the 18th of March and now spending an extra $2000. The other issue was allied try and sell additional junk insurance products which are against the Australian...

Our family have just moved from VIC to the Gold Coast QLD with Allied. This was a massive 4 bedroom move which included 2x 20 foot containers. The entire end-to-end process with Allied was brilliant with no fault. We will definitely use Allied again. Peter at Allied and Maricar managed our move to perfection, always kept in communication, the teams that moved our belongs especially the VIC team "they were BRILLIANT" took care and had pride in their work.
We HIGHLY recommend Allied.

Let down by incompetent Philippines based move manager
Moving from from Victoria to SA. Initial Melbourne based contact excellent with support and advice. The wheels fell off when the Philippines based ‘move management’ took over. Poor English, non reply to repeated emails, incorrect information not corrected. The Melbourne contact seemed to have to cover for the incompetence but with such alot at stake, I changed company. Allied only has themselves to blame. After 2-3 years of using an off-shore move management process the basics should have been sorted out!
I have today 23 March 2022 rece...
Read moreived a phone call from the Melbourne contact expressing that my above review was a ‘knee jerk’ and I shouldn’t comment about poor English of service providers (as its their 2nd language) and that the first 3rd of the process was afterall fine. I in fact gave credit where it was due but Allied is an international company and needs to have proper processes in place. My review was certainly not ‘knee jerk’ as I gave them three warnings, gave examples of my concerns and still got nowhere. The issue is not whether it’s an off shore based move manager but the very poor training. In comparison I had my internet connection problem sorted out recently on the phone with a Philippines based technician, with an accent, with no problem at all as they were properly trained and responsive. I gave her an excellent review. I repeat Allied only have themselves to blame and I was left with scrambling around finding another removalist as the Allied move manager simply didn’t reply to emails or otherwise communicate with me. I don’t appreciate such a defensive and upsetting phone call now after they had numerous chances and I was very patient with trying to get even basic service after, as I have said, initially an excellent involvement.- Rates and Fees

Fantastic support. Nothing was too much trouble.
Moved from a 4 bedroom home to a 3 bedroom. The Allied Pickford removalists were on time and really helpful in putting everything into our new home. Great guys who were extremely well organised. We really appreciated the help and would highly recommend them.

Read moreidence. With sincere regards, Allied Moving ServicesNot “careful movers”. Expect your things to be broken.
1 bedroom apartment moved from VIC to QLD. Washing machine dented, dryer significantly damaged (two panels dented inwards), hole punched in bedside table, two legs of a table broken. Not “careful movers”, terribly disappointing. Complaint was answered with the response “that’s what happens when things are moved in containers”. A “Move Case Manager” is assigned to “manage” the move but is located overseas and required multiple prompts to get a response to an email.

Read moret your valuable items, during a move - particularly interstate or overseas where a great distance is involved - items can sustain damage which is out of the control of the moving company. It is for this reason why we strongly encourage our customers to take out transit insurance to cover any of these eventualities. In this case we are aware that you did not opt to take out transit insurance with us. Whilst we regret that your experience with us was not as you had hoped, all services you entrusted with us were carried out with due care. If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact your dedicated move manager. Sincerely, Allied Moving Services.Ironically that’s the fastest response I’ve received from your company since I gave you my money.

I was quoted 10-12 weeks for a small home move from Melbourne to UK. The team that collected the goods were great but communication has been extremely limited from my contact at allied. It will now be 8.5 weeks before my shipment even leaves Melbourne. Who knows what further delays are ahead. I have no confidence in this company. I would not recommend.

Hi RG Melbourne,
We are sorry to hear about your delayed shipment.
As I am unable to find you in our system, can you please email your details over to [email protected] so we can investigate this further.
It's now been 15 weeks and my stuff is not near the UK. My reference number is 2231973. No communication from Allied to update ETA.

Read moremmonplace currently due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is unfortunately out of our, and any other moving company’s, hands. Having looked into your file, we can see that you were notified of the possible delays in June in an email. We can also see that you have been notified more recently of the large congestion issues in UK ports, but that currently your shipment is due to arrive early October. Ordinarily, a shipment such as yours would take 10-12 weeks, however these are not ordinary times. This is as frustrating for us and it is for you and all our customers, however we can assure you that our team is working extremely hard to get your shipment to you. In the meantime, if you have any further queries, please contact your dedicated move manager and they will be happy to assist. Sincerely, Allied Moving Services.2 bed home, interstate move. 4 guys in 2 trucks rocked up to the minute they set the day before. 90 minutes later, they left. We were in no way ready for them, but they ripped through the place helping us finish packing, item logging, and loading up before we knew what was happening.
Delivery of our stuff was once again to the minute. 2 guys were fantastic unloading and were more than happy putting boxes and loose items in they're different rooms around the house. Everything arrived in the condition they left, and every item that wasn't in a box was individually wrapped in a padded blanket, including a push bike. 10/10 for service, and the 6 guys that were involved were friendly and easy going.

Hi Greg.
Glad to hear your interstate move went smooth. We hope you settle in well at your new home.
Moved large 2 br unit from Seaford to Bellarine Peninsula. Researched several quotes but was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail by Allied Pickfords. Annette and Trent in the office were so helpful and always available for questions. Clare was an absolute magician in packing up my place professionally and setting it up in the new location. Eddie and the guys (Go Pies!) also did a great job and nothing was too much trouble. Professional and reliable. The other quotes, even cheaper ones, just did not cut it. 2 days and packed up, moved, set up. Worth every cent.

Terrible experience DO NOT USE ALLIED PICKFORDS
Firstly, the quote was grossly inaccurate, as I was asked to pay more when the packers came. I declined this, as someone had actually physically come out to look at my belongings and to quote me.
My shipment took a total of 6 months to finally get to the destination, I was told 8-12 weeks! Absolutely ludicrous. The contact at the destination was rude and unhelpful, and I was told that they operate on a 'part-load service' and I had to wait until there were more deliveries in my area. I was not told this upon taking out the contract. There was ...

We recently moved from Melbourne to Queensland with Allied Pickfords. The packing was atrocious! We had kitchen utensils thrown in boxes with outdoor footwear, delicate items with no protective wrapping and many items lost in transport including the essentials box with all the bolts and screws to reassemble items. We used their storage facilities as the property we rented whilst building was significantly smaller than the property we left so therefore around 2/3 of our belongings had to be stored. When we had the storage items delivered many th...
Read moreings were returned to us broken, many of these were sentimental presents bought by parents no longer with us so totally irreplaceable. We took out insurance but our items were in storage for 12 months and they said it exceeded the timeframe for reimbursement of the $16,500 damages/loss they had caused. We sought legal advice but the costs were escalating just to get AP to respond with basically tough there’s nothing we will do to put right our mistakes. We attached pictures of all the damage and evidence of the extremely poor packing but they just didn’t care. My advice is, if you value your belongings then never ever trust them with Allied Pickfords, they certainly show no evidence of’the careful movers’- Incentivised Review No

After Allied Pickford's rep visited our 3 bedroom property and assured us that they are professionals and will take care of our goods, we hired them to transport basic furniture and appliances to our new property 12 minutes away.
The movers arrived on time.
We were promised that all our mattresses will be wrapped in cover to ensure they stayed clean and hygienic during the move. THEY WERE NOT. The movers conveniently mentioned that they do not have any covers left. When they were relocated to the new property, they had dirt marks all over the...
