DO NOT SIGN UP TO AMAZON PRIME SCAMMERS!!! They will continually charge your card even when you cancel charges every day and no way to contact them !!!! Had to report as fraud and change DEBIT card number.!!!!!

I got an email that they had started a trial of Paramount+ that would automatically start billing me on auto-renewal 7 days later unless cancelled. I didn't request or approve this trial. I normally don't even open these emails so I wouldn't have even known about this. I am surprised this is even legal? Seriously considering cancelling my entire prime membership as a result. Very sneaky and unethical.

The worst application I ever used. It’s almost impossible to cancel prime video subscription once you join membership. They need to access all our devices to actually cancel it,how ridiculous

Zero way of resolving issues re: over charging by Amazon. The ONLY avenue is to cancel your credit card. There is absolutely, and I mean ABSOLUTELY, no way of being repaid by the bank more than 2 months. So be onto it. If you have purchased content in Amazon, then forget it. Once you get the money back from the bank, Amazon cancels your subscription. There is NO WAY to get back on the same account as before.

"Service" keeps dropping out every few minutes. Crap quality streaming, if they streamed like netflix it would be worth joining... but it isn't! Also, no customer care or contact. Last time I quit I had to lodge a complaint with the bank to stop them taking money, even after stopping the "service".

They make it as hard as possible to contact them. Obviously no f’s given as long as they get your money. They have email phone and chat buttons but when you click on them absolutely nothing happens. They do however have reasonable content. Could be a lot better. I object to paying for this and then being given the option to rent new releases. I’m sure it’s what I’m paying for.

I was enjoying watching prime video through my apple app then all of a sudden l was being charged through apple subscriptions AND prime video !
I went to my Amazon account and tried to cancel it but there was no subscription there .
Forget about trying to contact then IMPOSSIBLE
I have had to go through my bank to get a refund
I have been charged four times in the end l have had to cancel my card as a last resort .

Subscribed in January. Didn't realise there are different versions. Mine doesn't include live sport. So I go to watch the FA Cup Final but can't work out why it isn't there. I go to their help page but couldn't work it out. I tried to email through their website, spent five minutes filling in the form, get a message saying not sent, waste another five minutes trying to find our why. Contact Amazon Prime, they give me two phone numbers one with a long message that ends with this service is only for people in California and the other doesn't answer. So I go to Facebook and they give me an actual email address. I email and get an answer 25 minutes later. Appalling. Not Happy.

Was check credit card statement and noticing multiple monthly Amazon charges so started investigating why. Noticed Amazon sent an email advising of a free “7 day trial” of STARPLAYZ however if you don’t “OPT OUT” they start charging an additional $3.99mth. Why should I opt out of a subscription I never requested. Canceling Amazon prime membership and notifying the telecommunications ombudsman.

Paying for a year up front, Prime Video costs me 16 cents a day. For that I get free delivery from Amazon, free ebooks to read and a very decent catalogue of programs to watch in HD quality, or better, on several screens. Oh I forgot, limited Amazon music too. I'm just about at the end of my second year and have no problem renewing for my third. I know 16 cents a day is a lot of money but after reading so many of these reviews I think some people will never be satisfied no matter what is offered.

It has some great options but overall once you've finished watching your favs the rest is rubbish, I mean worse then b grade. They have so many movies that honestly spend all the budget on the poster, but the quality and script is literally worse then what any highschool film student could produce in less then a month. And they never I mean never add new material, unless you like saving show s and movies that are dishonestly added to the lists you scroll through but then have to pay extra for. I have no idea how Amazon is so big when it's so crap in all areas especially in Australia

Couldn’t be bothered joining Amazon Prime Australia. Searched for 2 box office hit movies, Lord of War & The Abyss, which are available in the US, but not Australia. What rubbish, how utterly sub standard, how typical of Australia! Once again, Australian company dragging it’s [Word Removed] in comparison to the rest of the world!

Surprised by all the negative reviews, seems very suspicious as I have tried Netflix, Binge, Stand and Prime and this is my favorite one.
Streaming and apps work fine, no complaints on the technical side.
Not as many new shows as Netflix or Binge but a huge amount of variety (need to dig around to find some of them) especially if you are growing tired of the woke rubbish that Netflix produces.
Only downside is lately they are listing some shows/other sub services that you have to pay extra for - hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Signed up for prime for free Amazon delivery. Service ok but since sign up I have had many scam/spam messages and calls. Some ask to click her to get my Amazon package other are calls saying press 1 to cancel ir I will get billed $95 a month for prime. Obviously their security poor and scammers get your details.

Terrible movies, boring low grade movies, and expect us to pay. Not worth the money. The movies never update, it's been the same dull, lineup of movies for over 10mths.

They charge for access then charge additional fees to watch a large portion of content and advertise content that requires additional subscription to other services.

This is a massive scam.

I am VERY disappointed with the addition of "romantic" relationships in so many episodes this is unnecessary to the story line and does not add to it at all. I don't want your agenda thrust on me!

I saw on my PlayStation 4 that Amazon Prime Gaming had a special Ullr's Hunter Bundle for Assassin's Creed Valhalla and all I had to do for this AND a free 30 day account was to set-up the account. Well...after two and a half hours of unnecessary mucking about and jumping through their hoops, which included me giving them my bank, email, phone details they gave me the account yet there was no way ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I could find the pack in question. If I can’t even sign into the account created on Amazon, why would I subscribe to your service if it impossible to sign in? Sort out your app and your sign in!!

Every movie I try to watch I have to purchase a different subscription or rent/buy, if anyone finds a movie they’re actually able to watch please let me know! Thanks a lot Jeff

Why do they keep ringing me up from different numbers when I have never used the service? It's abuse of a carriage service, stop annoying me.
Amazon really sucks bit time.

I've recently returned to prime after getting sick of Stan.
Have found they've split their system and have hidden charges with the likes of Parramount and some others where 5 - 6 months ago everything was included. Not happy. Will more than likely be cancelling very soon

I’ve just spent the last hour trying to sign up, refused 2 different cards with funds available, endless loop of trying to get support that sends you back to where you started.

I heard in the media that Amazon is signing people up to prime video without their permission. I checked my amazon australia account....no not signed up. Checked amazon usa and discovered they signed me up in 2016 and have been charging me yearly since then. Over 700usd thats 1000aud has been illegally stolen from me by amazon.com

I did not notice the yearly payment because I have spents thousands of dollars on amazon over past 20 or so years. Amazon.com used to be a great company...any problems and you email them, they would fix your ...

Thanks dick heads I now buy my movies from iTunes because I couldn’t upgrade my account through the tv, had to go through my phone then they reckon there’s a postal code issue. Now I’m watching my movie through another platform. Up yours Amazon.
