These pans are not non-stick. Impossible to seal a steak without burning the non-stick surface, then it's never the same again. What an absolute waste of money. Don't even bother trying to make an omlette. I am so dissappointed in this purchase. How can they justify the cost?
Purchased in April 2022 at Myer Online Store for $291.94.
I take very good care of my things. Was surprised how quickly the pan’s warped. They were replaced under warranty..... eventually! I had to purchase new pans to cook with while mine got sent to analon. The new pans also warped in no time. I now just use the Tefal pans i bought and they are great in comparison. Stay well clear of these thin Analon cookware.
Purchased in January 2022 at Kitchen Warehouse.

Got this set years ago and within 6 months the large covered sauté pan bubbled along with one of the other frypans. I used these exactly as per instructions, why wouldn’t you when you invest so much money. Not be replacing with this brand again
Purchased at Myer Retail Stores for $499.

I have owned non-stick frypans before and they have all lost their non-stick over time. The really cheap ones (with thin bases) warped badly, and you could actually see the black coating coming off. I thought, eating that stuff can't be good! After reading Choice magazine recommendations a few of years back, I spent the money and bought some Circulon pans. They were solid and worked great when new, but within a few months, things were starting to stick, and by the time I took them back (maybe 9 months or so) stuff was sticking so badly, it was ...
Read morehard to even wash off. I took it in with the residue of cooked eggs still stuck to the pan so they could see the evidence! At least Myer was happy to replace them no problem, and one of the staff there told me she had the Anolon frypans at home and found them to be excellent. I was less confident going with a store-person's anecdotal recommendation than with the Choice test results, but I figured what the heck… I would be bringing them back again if they started failing within a year! Well, I've had the 24 cm frypan well over a year now and I am so pleased with it. It's not quite as 'slippery' as the day I bought it, but the non-stick is still excellent—far better than anything I've used before after a similar time period. (And I use this pan a lot—not every day, but usually most days, sometimes more than once.) To give you an idea, if I fry eggs (no oil or butter), I can still get them off sometimes just by shaking the pan to slide them off. Sometimes, I do need a spatula to lift them off, but they come off easily. And washing the pan is super easy—I only ever use a soft sponge or cloth and never have to scrub them to get them clean (except occasionally at the points where the handle is connected, if food gets into the edges there). They look and feel super solid too, and there is no evidence of the surface chipping or coming off. There are some very light scratches on the surface, but it's evidently not affecting the performance. So that is my honest experience. I don't write a lot of reviews like this one, but I've been meaning to write this one for a little while as I think the product deserves it. Honestly, I'd be a little wary of those one star reviews. I can't understand how they could be reviewing the same product. I really do use this frypan a lot. I see Myer have them on sale again, so I'm thinking about getting a whole set (pots and frypans) based on my experience with this one. UPDATE (June 2017) After writing that review about two years ago, we did indeed go out and buy a whole set of Anolon cookware—the Advanced Bronze set. And two years later, I'm still a believer. The non-stick coating is still performing better than any other pan I have owned or used. We particularly love the mid-sized saucepan, as the lid comes with a built-in strainer which lets you drain water without removing food from the saucepan. Brilliant! Why does every saucepan not come with this?! (Sad note: They no longer sell a set with this design! I have given them my feedback on this.)
